Who's not gonna feel downhearted when your life was stolen from you just because of an accident. Negativity and the thought that you won't achieve your dreams will forever dwell in your sorrowful heart and all the possibilities of new hopes and beginnings may easily shatter in just a blink of an eye. But this man has a strong hold of faith and determination, what was thought to be lost, was right then and there after all. The only way to be strong and happy is through the help of your loving family, they will always be there no matter what happens to you.

10 years ago, Bob Headings fell from a ladder and became paralyzed from the waist down. The accident also caused him 17 broken ribsand a collapsed lung. Since then, his life seemed limited and his dream of hiking the terrains of the famous and beautiful Grand Canyon in Arizona is close to impossible. How could a person who can't even walk try to hike the Grand Canyon?

Well, Bob's loving family unanimously agreed to pursue the long-overdue dream of dear old Bob—to hike the famous Grand Canyon! His three sons and eight grandsons effortlessly took turns in carrying Bob while seated on his wheelchair. Without any hesitation and complaint, each one did their own share of effort. The rocky, steep terrain wasn't a hindrance for the Headings children and grandchildren, they hiked the trails of the Grand Canyon carrying his wheelchair each step of the way!

John Honaker filmed this heartwarming moment. In the video, Bob's grandson, Jase Headings said “It’s basically another step showing people that they can do anything with even the greatest obstacles.”

In life, people will be given situations that are more than they can bear alone. Hence, a man who has lost a few will always be rewarded with a thousand. People who experience distress or suffering will surely overcome it with the help and support of their families and love ones.
