/hg/ Speedrun Masters

how it works:
Speedrun challenges will be issued in the thread.
if you beat one, your GT and Time will be recorded and you will be awarded a rank on the leaderboard.
the player with the lowest total Time will be crowned that Seasons /hg/ Speedrun Master!

MCC+ODST missions only.
each challenge will be different and will attempt to be fun, not frustrating or deadly serious.

no glitches or feats of extreme luck will be required to beat a challenge.
"glitches" include clipping through the map, de-spawning enemies, climbing outside of the map.
"glitches" do not include: button combos, crouch/grenade/rocket-jumping, avoiding fall damage, driving vehicles beyond where they would usually go.

there will be 3 challenges per Season.
the ranking conditions are: amount of challenges completed > total Time.

a Season will end when there are enough people on the Leaderboard. the exact date will be discussed in the thread.

to prove that you have beaten a challenge:
enable the Time HUD under the Options tab in the pre-game Menu.
record or stream your winning Run, upload it to YouTube, or save it on Twitch/Mixer.
link it in the thread, along with a timecode of when your winning Run starts.
you may replay and resubmit a challenge again and again to improve your Time.

how do I save my Twitch streams?
visit https://www.twitch.tv/YOURUSERNAMEHERE/dashboard/settings
tick the "Store Past Broadcasts" box.
your streams will be automatically deleted after two weeks.
if you save a stream as a "Highlight", it will be saved forever.
visit https://www.twitch.tv/YOURUSERNAMEHERE/manager/past_broadcasts
click on the stream you would like to Highlight.
click "...", then "Highlight".
choose the timecodes of what part of the stream you would like to save.
there is no length limit, you may save the entire stream.

how do I save my Mixer streams?
profile picture > manage channel > preferences > Keep recordings (VoDs) of my streams > Save
any stream longer than 5 minutes will be saved forever.
