[Shard, Ruby Street]
Ruby Street cuts through the heart of the only section of Shard that survived the wars with the Dragon Priests, a fact that is readily apparent in the antique appearance of most of the shops here.  One inn built of seasoned wood seems to be the main attraction of this section of the lane, a cherrywood sign painted with a black rose hanging over the door.  Young children of the streetrat persuasion scamper past as they run out of or into a side street that leads to the inn's stableyard.

Casari flails her arms about.

Casari exclaims in Ilithic, "Silly!"

You blink.

Casari pulls you to her in a tight hug.

You hug Casari who wraps her arms around you with a warm smile.  A faint scent of geshiloira clings to her skin.

The sun vanishes behind a multicolored splendor of clouds as night slowly drapes its starry banner across the skies.

You exclaim in Ilithic, "Casari!"

Casari says in Ilithic, "I literally just ran into your mother inside."

You fret.

Casari exclaims in Ilithic, "It's so good to see you!"

You say in Ilithic, "Then I shouldn't go in there..."

You glance at an inn.

Casari asks in Ilithic, "Huh?  Why not?"

You say in Ilithic, "I don't want her to know I'm here."

[Shard, Ruby Street]
A gentle tranquility wraps this section of Ruby Street despite the fall of night and all the treacherous things its darkness conceals.  An inn built of seasoned wood is the only shop still open here, its windows and doorway bright with the glow of firelight and inviting the attention of those whose work does not end with the loss of sunlight.  A side street leads off into the stableyard of the inn, where the whinnying of horses can be heard.

Oldstyle Elothean architecture takes up most of the street on either side, the fluid, clean lines and golden rectangles of the structures at once efficiently utilizing the space the city has alloted them and aesthetically pleasing.  Out of place to the rest of the street's design is an arched gate of diamondique and steel that rises to the north, its Elven motif cutting rudely into the otherwise purely Elothean scape.  You also see an opulent domed building of marble and glass.

You go west, leading your group.

Crossed headsman's axes hang on the fieldstone wall behind the bar, the blades inlaid with carnelian to resemble spatters of blood.  To the south, burly patrons cluster about a private table, while the noise from the east makes it easy to identify the location of the common room.  A stairway leads up to the second floor.  You also see a menu.

You say in Ilithic, "His name is Enthal.  He is from Elamiri, but he is a lunar gypsy."

You smile at Casari.

You ask in Ilithic, "Are you suggesting he rigged the dice somehow?"

You ask in Ilithic, "How could he predict what the dice would roll?"

Casari says in Ilithic, "I thought you said he was a moon mage."

Casari gives you a gentle poke in the ribs.

Casari asks in Ilithic, "You don't get out much, do you?"

You say in Ilithic, "But I was the one who rolled the dice."

You shake your head at Casari.

You ponder.

Casari exclaims in Ilithic, "You don't even need magic to fix the dice.  And if you have it, all the easier.  Plus, they see the darn future!"

You look at Casari and blush.

Casari says in Ilithic, "Anyway, yes, imagine if the daughter of Ayrell Evyntine was known to be a burglar."

You gaze upward.

Casari says in Ilithic, "Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy that you're having fun.  But you have to be careful."

You give a slight nod.

Fluttering around Casari's left wrist, a battle-scarred bronze wyvern turns gracefully through the air, tumbling into a series of turns before resuming its orbiting flight.
