  1. Name: Auspicious Bodhissatva Singh
  2. Sobriquets/Titles: Lion of the South, Sovereign Manticore, The Lion Shah, Malfeas' Paper Tiger (Derogatory) [Former], Loathed One (Derogatory, Infernal Origin), Arsalan, the Perfect Roaring Gerent (Titan Names)Concept: Nascent God-Titan, Claimant to the Throne of Creation
  3. Caste/Patron: Heritor/Arsalan [Formerly: Malefactor/Malfeas)
  4. Motivation/Urge: Discover the method to craft his own Exaltations
  5. Intimacies: His Empire (The loyal and loved subjects), Angha the Resplendent Baroness Matron (Nascent Third Soul, manifestation of his doting side), Creation (His kingdom, His throne), Ligier (You never liked me; now I will give you a reason to hate), Malfeas (The Unworthy King), The Orb and Scepter of Peace and Order (The Imperial Regalia)
  6. Anima Banner: Sutras proclaiming his power in Old Realm spiral around, taking form as wings composed of words and glories, connected to the body of a humanoid lion, body of purple brass, a scorpions tail growing from the back. The form of the ethereal body covers Singh's form, semi-translucent in form.
  7. Anima Effect: Unique
  8.
  9. Arsalan, the Perfect Roaring Gerent, possessor of all, the epic titan, whose dominion stretches to the edge of all existence, and beyond. He is claimant to all Creation, the rightful owner. However, as he owns all, his honest magnanimousness must be seen as that; he would be justified in destroying anything he willed. He commands loyalty and submission, though not like Malfeas; Arsalan is not the tyrant king, but rather the benevolent ruler; his is the right to the throne as he is the principle of ownership, and all it entails. As a ruler, this means he follows noblesse oblige. His very existence demands attention, as a tool cannot ignore its master. Great is his skill, as he owns even the fount of talent. At his best, he is a doting caretaker, as a man might care for a beloved pet or cherished tool; at his worst, he can act as a spoiled child, whose carelessness towards his belongings may sometimes push through any amount of discipline.
  10.
  11. This charm may be applied to any action used to act as the sovereign or leader of a group, so long as that group is both public and they are the public and supreme leader of it. It can be used to press a claim, any claim to any thing, so long as that claim is on their behalf or on the behalf of someone who could be said to belong to them. Arsalan's Excellency helps characters forge a legacy, both physical and metaphysical; it can be applied to craft, so long as it is not mundane; one could use it to build a colossal temple complex or palace-fortress, but not a basic home. It could be used to forge a blade from the essence of an epic story bound in the substance of a magical material, but even a simple daiklave is too common.
  12.
  13. Born in small, nameless village in the South. Was named Desert Singh due to his large mane of sandy hair.
  14. Grew up poor, yet possessed remarkable talent even as a child.
  15. Became a community leader, but wanted more.
  16. Paragon began to absorb towns and expand borders, Singh chose to attempt to fight, fermented a rebellion.
  17. Rebellion fails, Singh is locked into prison to be executed, approached by demon. This occurs during Calibration.
  18. Breaks out of prison, wrecks havoc against the Perfect. Scars Perfect before escaping.
  19. Roams the South, expanding his powers, testing new talents, and refusing to go to Hell. Eventually dragged there, once again during Calibration, a year after his 'second birth.'
  20. Shows great disrespect to Ligier, little respect to other Demons, but shows preternatural talent.
  21. Malfeas recognizes (as far as being such as Malfeas recognizes anything) him for his bombastic style and dismissive behavior. Beginning of status as something of a Favored Son.
  22. Returns to Creation, begins carving an empire in the South. At the head of an army of demons and a rapidly growing cult-army, smashes a Wyld Hunt sent after him and earns the title Lion of the South.
  23. First experiments with new creatures begin here; early Manticores created. Several still exist, now grown to gargantuan sizes and even more powerful.
  24. Though increasingly powerful, he also becomes increasingly less likely to assist Akuma, Demons, Cults, or Green Sun Princes in their schemes, gaining the title of Malfeas' Paper tiger.
  25. Marches on Paragon, but leaves his army outside the borders. Enters the city on his own, proclaiming himself the new ruler.
  26. Displays the Orb of Peace and Order; discovered over the course of several campaigns in the South.
  27. Fist appearance of his demonic, winged form reminiscent of the beasts he made (Devil-Tyrant Avatar Shintai).
  28. The Perfect is brought low, forced to give up the Scepter. Singh preserves him with his powers rather than letting him die, offers him a place as Regent.
  29. Perfect is retitled as the Regent of the Lion, reshaped according to Singh's will. Finds arrangement actually agreeable due to the level of authority afforded to him, and even greater power bestowed.
  30. The Empire of the Lion expands, eventually extending from the borders of The Lap to Chiaroscuro.
  31. Creation of several other creatures and species begins during this period. Wyverns are created as war-beasts and mounts for pseudo-Exalted warriors.
  32. Comes into conflict with Gervesin due to his actions on Chiaroscuro.
  33. Begins even more increasingly ignoring any contact with Yozi, delves into heretical arts in secret.
  34. Swallows the Scorpion roughly around the time the Empress returned and the Sun died, officially removing himself from the Reclamation. Declares war on Hell.
  35. During a final trip, he ends up in conflict with Sondok and, once again, Gervesin. Neither survive the encounter. Though they may not be close, this earns the enmity of nearly all of Malfeas component souls.
  36. First wisps of Arsalan, that which Singh could become, enter his mind.
  37. As the Sun returns, Singh moves after consolidating his power. He establishes, ironically, a Satrapy on the Isle of Sweet Radiance and begins the process of attempting to push his cult into the downtrodden of the Dragonswrath Plains. Attempts to actually extend into the Realm face unknown opposition, causing him to retract to reconsider his advances.
  38. Singh howls triumphantly, declaring himself a Devil Tiger. The official cult of his empire becomes the worship of Arsalan, the Perfect Roaring Gerent
  39. Celebration ensues, three months of games and triumph parades roll through the Empire. Taxes forgone for the entire period. This becomes an annual event.
  40. Singh, through his long usage, turns the manse in his palace into one aspected to his Titan form.
  41. Enter the Village...

  59. Charms
  60. Omnipotent Ownership Ledger
  61. Cost: -; Mins: Essence 1; Type: Permanent
  62. Keywords: None
  63. Duration: Permanent
  64. Prerequisite Charms: None
  65. Ultimately everything belongs to Arsalan, he simply lends all-things to others by his own grace; a sword, a meal, a life. As a result, he recognizes everyone who is borrowing something of his. Whenever a character with this charm looks at something, he can innately know if it is owned, and if it is owned, then he knows who it is owned by as well. This is a strange thing, transcending simple language; it does not reveal name or location or any real details about them at all, yet if he was to see the owner of a thing he'd innately know them as the owner.
  66. Until such as time as he has a frame of reference, he cannot express this information to another person directly, unless they also have this charm. In that case, they may converse normally, though no other person would be able to understand the utterly esoteric information being passed between them.
  67.
  68. Additionally, the Exalt inherently remembers and knows all things they personally own.
  69.
  70.
  71. Silent Roaring Sigil
  72. Cost: 1m; Mins: Essence 2; Type: Simple
  73. Keywords: Combo-Ok, Sorcerous, Touch
  74. Duration: Special
  75. Prerequisite Charms: None
  76. All things belong to Arsalan, but his favored things bear his mark. Spending a mote and touching an item they own places an invisible mark. This mark varies, but generally has a resemblance to the anima banner of the user in the case of a Green Sun Prince. In Arsalan's case it appears as a stylized roaring lion head formed from a hymn to his glory, written in Old Realm yet somehow understood by all. This mark reinforces an intimacy of ownership, depending on the relationship the Infernal has with the item. It is visible to those who can perceive essence.
  77.
  78. Whenever the Infernal's anima's reaches the 11m+ level, any sigil within [essence x 100] yards flares to life as if it were a caste mark at the 4-7m level. The marks become visible to all, impossible to cover up, much like a caste mark. Their declaration of their master's glory cannot be hidden.
  79.
  80. This mark cannot be removed through physical means; flaying the skin will not remove it, it will simply appear on that flesh. Removing the marked appendage, if it is an appendage, will simply cause the mark to appear on another part of the body. The mark is not on the body, but rather on the soul. Only two things can remove the mark: sorcerous dispelling, or the owner willingly giving up their ownership.
  81.
  82. Loving Bondsman Brand
  83. Cost: -; Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  84. Keywords: None
  85. Duration: Permanent
  86. Prerequisite Charms: Silent Roaring Sigil
  87. A mortal is simply a collection of meat bound by a temporary spirit; owning it is hardly a stretch. Loving Bondsman Brand permanently alters its prerequisite, allowing it to function on living beings, including sentient beings. This being must possess a possess an intimacy towards the Exalt somehow related to fealty or ownership. This does not necessarily need to be a positive intimacy, but it must be related to ownership, fealty, or similar traits. It can also be used on anyone who holds a similar intimacy towards someone already marked by the Exalt; a slave may own slaves, an all ultimately belong to Arsalan.
  88.
  89. At Essence 4, the strength of bonds expand so that any person marked also causes a mark to appear on all of their possessions as well. At Essence 6, this expands to any people that owe fealty or are owned by them as well; a kings loyalty brings kingdoms into the fold. Marked parents pass the mark on to their children.
  90.
  91. Ontological Inertia Denial
  92. Cost: Varies; Mins: Essence 2; Type: Simple
  93. Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious, Shaping
  94. Duration: Instant
  95. Prerequisite Charms: Silent Roaring Sigil
  96. Destroys a marked object or being. Repurchase at Essence 4 allows this to function at any range. Essence 5, automatically triggers on all objects when the warlock dies. Supernaturals roll Essence+Integrity against a difficulty of the Mark owners Essence.
  97.
  98. God Gilding Seal
  99. Cost: -; Mins: Essence 4; Type: Permanent
  100. Keywords: None
  101. Duration: Permanent
  102. Prerequisite Charms: Loving Bondsman Brand
  103. Brand works on spirits.
  104.
  105. Endless Panoply Enchantment
  106. Cost: - (+3m); Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  107. Keywords: None
  108. Duration: Permanent
  109. Prerequisite Charms: Silent Roaring Sigil
  110. Magnanimous Arsalan can be generous with his things, bestowing his favor on many at once with a single word. This charm permanently enhances its prerequisite. For an additional three motes when used, the charm loses the Touch keywords and instead functions for as long a range as the user can be heard from. Additionally, anything the Infernal owns, but is not yet marked by Silent Roaring Sigil is so marked. Anything already marked instead flares for a brief moment, not unlike they would if they were in the presence of their owner's full anima banner, except for only the briefest of moments.
  111.
  112. Sigil Soul Bequeath
  113. Cost: - (Varies, 2wp); Mins: Essence 3; Type: Permanent
  114. Keywords: None (Obvious, Blasphemy, Desecration, Shaping, Training)
  115. Duration: Permanent
  116. Prerequisite Charms: Loving Bondsman Brand
  117. Sigils of the Heritor always declare their owners, but eventually the truth of this awakens inside of them. This charm permanently enhances its prerequisite. Upon purchase, any existing sigils and any further sigils place awaken as nascent souls, bits of their owner. The sigil counts as a First-Circle Deva of the Exalt and, by extension, Arsalan, though it is dormant in almost all ways. These souls are not subject to the Surrender Oaths, and cannot be summoned.
  118.
  119. At Essence 4, the Sigil Soul sinks even deeper into the marked thing; in effect, this is similar to awakening the essence of the bearer, though in practice it is a deeper, more fundamental and intimate act. When used in this way, this charm acts like Demon-Blooded Endowment with the following modifications: the effect is Obvious, and is a Desecration, Training, and Shaping effect, with the Creatures of Darkness mutation not counting for the purposes of maximum possible mutations granted by Demonic Inheritance (though characters so marked do gain experience for it as normal). Each dot of Demonic Inheritance granted costs 15 motes in addition to the 2 willpower required, but the maximum levels are equal to (Permanent Essence – 1). Furthermore, the endowed character receives an equal rank of Unwoven Coadjutor equal to the granted rank of Demonic Inheritance, rather than Demonic Patron. Finally, instead of infusing the target's personal Essence with a vitrolic, it instead infuses it with an aspect of Arsalan.
  120.
  121. Like Demon-Blooded Endowment, this effect does not work on Exalted of any type, though it does work on any type of God-Blooded (including beastmen), and Hellspawn (including devil beasts). Like Demon-Blooded endowment, it can be used to endow a character who already has dots in the Demonic Inheritance background (or comparable for other types of God-Blood), the prior Inheritance does not count towards the Inheritance granted by this charm. Even more, the use of this charm can literally purge those effects from their body, reshaping them to Arsalan's whims on a small scale; all belong to him, and he does not like the taint of other pretenders on his things.
  122.
  123. The subject of this effect is permanently marked. They suffered 1 rank of aggravated damage (which heals normally) as the invisible sigil on their soul burns bright and sears its way on their forehead, and more. They gain the Aura of Power mutation automatically (which does not count for the limits of mutations granted by Inheritance, and for which they gain no additional experience), even if they cannot yet shape essence. If they ever gain the ability to do so, their produced pseudo-anima resembles that of their patron, abet at a smaller scale, and their mark will light up not unlike a caste mark. Their children will not only be marked automatically, but also receive Demonic Inheritance equal to the highest level of their parents.
  124.
  125. As the last but not least note, any being marked by this effect that has an Inheritance rating of 3 or above has been marked so deeply that their soul is owned even beyond death. Upon their death, their body dissolves into a cloud of essence in a prayer to their beloved owner, Arsalan. Their Unwoven Coadjutor fuses with their soul, binding it together and transforming them into a First-Circle Deva of Arsalan. A being with an Inheritance rating of 5 can (if Arsalan chooses) be instead transformed into a Second-Circle Deva. Their souls join with the godhead, achieving a greatness beyond mere ownership; they become part of owning all things in the process. Upon death, a Blasphemy effect is invoked, centered on the site of death, where those who can see essence will understand intuitively what grave rewriting of the laws of reality has occurred. The effects this has on Arsalan are more complex, but irrelevant for this charm (and this time.)
  126.
  127. You Can Be More, For Me
  128. Cost: 60m, 1 wp; Mins: Essence 7; Type: Simple
  129. Keywords: Obvious, Blasphemy, Desecration, Training
  130. Duration: Permanent
  131. Prerequisite Charms: Sigil Soul Bequeath
  132. A higher glory than mere marking, a higher endowment than mere inheritance, Arsalan can shape his things into many forms to best suit himself. This charm functions like Investiture of Infernal Glory, with the following changes: the target does not have to initiate the process. Or rather, not in the same way. Rather, the act of being marked is enough for the purposes of the charm; they belong to Arsalan, he can do with them what he will. They are drained of a permanent point of Willpower, and a single level of Aggravated damage is dealt as the sigil burns its way onto their forehead. This charm functions as Investiture of Infernal Glory otherwise, though the energy is that of Arsalan and they are marked in that way, forever, rather than the Yozi. The reshaped target becomes an Ahura, rather than Akuma. However, the distinction is political rather than functional.
  133.
  134. This effect is a grave blasphemy; it permanently alters the destiny of the target, and is therefor abhorrent to heaven. Anyone so shaped also passes on their inheritance and marking, not unlike a person under the effects of Sigil Soul Bequeath. Also like a so-marked person, upon death their body dissolves away as a prayer to Arsalan. This causes a Blasphemy effect centered on the site of death, and the reshaped soul of the marked being coalesces into a Third Circle Deva of Arsalan, the highest honor one can hope to achieve in his service.
  135.
  136. Sigil Speaking Methods
  137. Cost: 2m; Mins: Essence 2; Type: Reflexive
  138. Keywords: None
  139. Duration: One Scene
  140. Prerequisite Charms: Silent Roaring Sigil
  141. Owned things listen to their master. This charm allows its user to speak to anything marked by their sigil within (essence) miles of them, though they may not speak back. The words are not so much heard as they are understood, and the Exalt does not have to literally speak to communicate.
  142.
  143. At Essence 4, the bearers of the mark can speak back for as long as the Exalt maintains the connection, though they cannot initiate it. At Essence 6, a Difficulty 1 prayer can be performed by a marked being to get their patrons attention, though he does not have to respond. Presumptuous prayers can be answered with force; at this level, anyone who prayers is considered to be Touched for the purposes of charms.
  144.
  145. This charm can be used to send messages to non-mortal beings. Animals cannot understand complex concepts, though, and can be directed only simply (if at all.) Objects are even more stubborn.
