Maxwell sits at home and tosses his sword in the air, catching it in the process. He subconsciously trains his hand-eye coordination as he thinks.

"I've been using this sword for years. Sure I have sharpened it every now and then but this thing has kept me going. I've also given out quite a few swords. If only I can just make one out of ki instead of building it. It would be much easier."

Maxwell catches it with his right hand and pulls himself up. He splits his energy across from him, creating a copy. Maxwell holds his sword outward and holds his blade backwards. For some reason this spar was different. He noticed his split-form also had a sword. It was a real sword too. Although it left in a burst of energy it also formed to be solid and hit just like the real one.

Maxwell wonders, if he can make stuff like a sword permanent and that didn't split his power. Maxwell brushed the split-form aside and sits on his bed. He holds his hand out. His sword his basically a part of his arm. He has been holding it for nearly half his life. It has become second nature.

He holds his hand out and tries to bring forth a sword of his own. Like making a split-form without himself, just the sword on his back. Energy flows through his hand as a type of ball. That energy extends into something horizontally. It expands, and solidifies. It isn't just a ball of energy but becoming more solid, more like the steel of Maxwell's blade.

Color starts to shape the blade as it sharpens on one side. The hilt and handle begins to shape as the sword becomes more sword-like. He can feel his energy seeping away ever so slightly. When he feels this he disconnects his energy from it, permanently. He doesn't control the sword with his key anymore, he merely just holds it.

Maxwell takes his first sword and swings it. He tosses that sword up into the air, swinging now his energy created sword. It was basically the same thing, but wasn't quite. Maybe it was just Maxwell's natural affinity to his own sword.

"Now I have two swords."
