  1. Of course, none of these studies actually prove equality, do they? Taken at face value the most they say is that the IQ gaps aren't as large as they presently are and could be narrowed with better environments. Because there is no evidence which proves equality. The most you'll get is evidence critiquing the work of race realists.

  3. Despite race realism being basically taboo, recent anonymous surveys of 'intelligence experts' show that most side with the race realists. That genes play a large role in the IQ gap between races and even nations. And we have people like Sam Harris, Charles Murray, Nicholas Wade, Steven Pinker, Jonathan Haidt, and James Watson upholding this position.

  8. Kraut seems to focus on SES and home environment. Sadly, SES isn't good enough. The studies showing large SES effects largely focus on children. This is a problem because of something called the Wilson Effect. Namely that childhood IQs are not stable and by adulthood the heritability of IQ rises. Hence why IQ in adults in the US has about an 80% heritability.

  10. Vox tried this with Charles Murray and Sam Harris
  11. Fortunately researchers fired back and told them that they were full of it and using studies which grossly overestimated these factors.

  13. Most important aspect is the fact that the race gaps are highest on IQ subtests with the most G loading. And heritability is highest on the subtests with the most g-loading too. A serious blow to anyone wanting an environmental explanation. As well as the failure of childhood intervention programs in solving the IQ gap
