Zheng Horrors

The Demon made its way to the borders of Zheng Island.

Before any alarm could go off, it was already attacking the non-magi forces, immediately shredding those unfortunate with the wind and corroding their very being with its acid. There was no escape - the swarm that Murmux commanded was absolutely volatile, chasing after every single man, woman, and even a child that dared to be around.

Why it was attacking the patrolling soldiers, or even common citizens on the brink of town, thus thinning the herd closer into the center of this small town? For its own purposes of feeding and growth, of course - there were reports that it kept kidnapping the people that ended up bitten by the large insectoid, the venom acting as paralytic effect on them.

"Hhhhhhhhhhhhh--"

"None... none of you- belong here- you cattle- you scum."

With a loud, hissing noise, the Demon kept its attacking pressure for quite a while, rampaging throughout the outer circles of the town- but it knew the limits, it knew that there would be backup, eventually.

"Catch me- if you can- scum. Weak. Pathetic. Pitiful."

With overgrown, Occult-influenced insects that Murmux commanded that were carrying out the duty of tangling up unfortunate people in the web or paralyzing them with their venom, the Demon was quick to leave with its bounty before any backup would show up.

It's a force of terror, true, but there's only so much it can do before being overwhelmed by forces. Unfortunately for the non-magi, they could not catch up to Kaor.

Perhaps some magi will, next time.
