[13:06] Terhune says, "I've already paid the tax."
[13:06] Iuria says, "I don't remember! I'm sorry."
[13:06] Terhune says, "You where the person I paid it to..."

[13:06] Bolt says, "Pay up."
[13:06] Bolt says, "Now."
[13:06] Terhune says, "No."
[13:06] Iuria says, "You may pay to B O L T."
[13:06] Iuria says, "Ohh."
[13:06] Bolt asks, "What?"
[13:06] Bernard says, "See ya, senhorita."
[13:06] Terhune says, "I already paid the tax."
[13:07] Terhune asks, "Why would I pay twice?"
[13:07] Henrike asks, "Do you have any proof?"
[13:07] Bolt says, "No you didn't."
[13:07] Bolt asks, "Do you have the paperwork?"
[13:07] Terhune pointed at Iuria.

[13:07] Bolt asks, "Corporal did you pay?"
[13:07] Bolt says, "He pay, sorry."
[13:09] Iuria grabs a small notebook from her pocket, it was humble, scrawled, childish even.

She then would flip through its pages, until finding the right page-

And, of course, no name was noted down here.

Did she even know how to write?

"I'm sorry, but I can't remember! I don't want to be hostile, you know, but taxes. You know? Five-hundred crowns. If you lack them, your belongings might do. If you lack them both? Chop chop!"

She cocked her head towards the trees around, grinning.

[13:11] Estra was sprinting across the bridge to talk to the barsburgians guarding it, but stopped seeing a situation and many more people.

[13:15] Terhune's expression darkened quickly, so he had in fact been robbed. His gaze flicked from Iuria towards the other Blackhats. That wasn't fair in the slightest. It was becoming more and more obvious that they really where just robbing people.

"T-that's not happening. I paid and I'm not paying again just because you're a t-thief." As he spoke those sickly-green sprinkled hues settled on Iuria. Then he looked towards Bolt for a moment.

"I'm not paying twice. T-train your blackhats better." As the young ore-miner spoke his gaze, well it flitted back and forth between the six or so blackhats. Normally he was certainly the more nervous sort but it appeared with some anger, righteous or deceitful whichever it was.

His response was instant. The Silvercap looked at the child and then stepped forward with his hand on his blade's hilt. His eyes completely laid into them as he took a deep breath.

"They said you haven't paid. So you're going to pay now." His left paw would extend to take the money, his right would ever so slightly unsheathe his blade.

Despite Terhune being a child this Razuka didn't care. If he had to get hands on he would get hands out.

"It's five hundred coin. Pay up or I will make you."

[13:19] Estra stepped forward nervously trying to speak up. "I uh... can I try to pay him off? With what I have?"

She looked into her bag... no money.

[13:21] Things sure escalated quickly.

Marina pulled out her rifle slowly, ready to act if necessary.

Though, with Bolt around it wouldn't be a problem. Civilians would learn that when The Machine needs taxes, they must be paid.

It wasn't a request, it was an obligation - and obligations must be fulfilled.

"You heard the corporal," Marina told Estra, "Five hundred coins, your belongings or wood in the same value," a forced smile was given to Estra.

[13:21] Iuria watched Bolt doing what she usually does, but in a harsher way.

In a way that she: doesn't need to work and that also amuses her, basically? Double-win. The teenager crosses her arms, her gaze trails from the child to Estra, a devilish grin adorns Iuria's face for now.

Another one who is willing to pay taxes.

"Five-hundred coins. Keep in mind that you'll pay for both- for Terhune and for you."

However, the teenager looks at her peers momentarily, finally resting her gaze on Bolt.

"Unless one of my comrades have any reprisal against charging you taxes."

What she meant was clear: unless she's a friend of any of them standing before Estra, somehow letting their corruption... visible, yet- does she care? Not actually.

[13:22] Henrike just took a step back with a half-bored grin dancing around his lively expression, it's certain he is enjoying what is going on, and so, stretching his shoulders he just looked more closely at everyone's movement.

"Ai-ai.", that's all.

He looks like ready to catch any of them if they try to run.

The lapine approached Razuka in quick steps, facing her. The difference between the height of each one was evident, Bernard had to look down to be able to talk to Twilly but not letting it affect him he continued to speak.

"As my dear companions have already said, it is five hundred coins, your belongings or wood in the same value for you to be able to pass and also by Lieutenant Nero's orders I will request that you specify your destination together with your intentions. Just the protocol, miss."

[13:26] Terhune's frown deepened as he listened to the silvercap speak. Listened to his vulgar words as they left his lips. Then in that moment any of his previous loyalties to the Authority, instilled by years of indoctrination, snapped.

The green lines that crackled across his skin, emitting a sickly green glow around his diminutive frame. He was about to say something else when he heard the conversation taking place behind the silvercap. Specifically that Iuria said his name. They weren't even pretending not to know him anymore.

His gaze flicked back to Bolt and he shouted at the top of his lungs, a shout which was laced with an ear-splitting magical spell. "Good luck catching me stupid!" It was honestly the most harsh insult he knew, but then again he wasn't exactly very old.

Immediately he turned on the back peddle and sprinted the way he'd came. Right towards the edge of the bridge. If he made it there he'd leap soundly intothe water and swim away.

If he didn't? Well that'd be a tough fight for the sickly youth. That much was certain.

[13:30] Estra smiled warmly, but she was nervous a little. This was a lot tenser than she was ready to handle. She shuffled nervously. "I uh... am coming from Osrona… I just talked to Barrachan, Stavros, and Sylvannas. I um... greeted Misha along the way as well as talked to Avery some. I'm going to Myl to talk to some Runemasters about new runes. I'm trying to become a Runemaster?"


She played with her sleeves a bit she had no where near enough money to pay that not even if she gave them all the clothes off her back. She looked like she was about to cry, but she kept trying to be friendly to them and smile warmly.

"I uh... I came to this bridge... because I wanted to deliver snacks to you guys, but... there are more than last time. I thought you all might be hungry... I wanted to help. I'm sorry let me see what else I can give you... I have some flowers... and Um...." She offered some jerk to the man and started bringing out everything she could to pay off everything, but it wasn't even close. She even removed her special pendant and gave it to them. It broke her heart she was crying a bit at this point. Jack made that... he was helping her and now she had to give it away.

Tears fell on the ground like raindrops, but... the sweet Razuka still carried a warm smile trying to be friendly to them.

[13:32] Bernard looked at Marina, he was trying to ask what to do since he had never gotten this far.

[13:32] "Corporals, let that Razuka pass. No need to toll them today." Bolt would state as a clear order. Only because they were his kin. Nothing more nothing less. Corruption at it's finest.

"They're a good citizen of the Empire. Trustworthy, always doing their best and all of that. We'll cut them a break to show our appreciation!" And then his eyes snapped to the kid. Who then tried to run away.

"Really? Running?" He could only shake his head as he went after the kid. Grabbing him by the collar he would throw him back onto the bridge. He was not running away today.

Quickly Bolt would draw his sword, and with no hesitation he would begin to move forward. "Right. You little fuckin shit. You piece of god damn shit. You want to run? Kekekekekekekkekeke."

"You can't run from Barsburg."

With the kid stuck on the bridge, Bolt would move to attack.

[13:35] Marina was still carrying her rifle in one of her hands, looking at Bernard and Estra.

Her expression was a neutral one, until Bolt gave the order and so, Marina nodded to Bernard.

"Ya' heard him," Marina shrugged, taking a step to the side to let Estra pass.

While this was happening, Bolt was taking care of the brat who tried to run away from the Razuka.

Her eyes focused on them now, Marina was curious because she hadn't seen Bolt fight yet.

[13:36] Henrike watched Terhune begin to run, he sensed a chill going down his spine, like warning him to quickly move and catch that little bastard to pay his taxes and not evade them! Where are his parents? Didn't they teach him anything about obeying the local forces?

A chuckle rose up from his voice and continued to form into a burst of laughter seeing how Bolt is treating this situation, like a good audience, he keeps himself silent for now and looking curiously at all the scene that little razuka made of all of this.

Well, he never thought it would reach this level of breakdown.

[13:37] Iuria walked forwards, eyeing the bout occurring near, hoping that Bolt won't only come back to Bridge with a victory, but with a fat sack of crowns.

Then, it's time to deal with Estra. A beastkin- Bolt's friends, apprently. If they befriended a comrade, then they befriended the whole crew, at least that is how Iuria views.

"You don't need to pay! I'm sorry for whatever discomfort we caused to you, amiga. It's nice to meet you, Corporal Iuria Miravus."

Flashing her Authority's badge, there's a grin across her face.

"You don't need to deliver snacks, we're merely doing our job, unless, of course, you really want, and I won't refuse. But, no, you don't need to be sorry."

Iuria, while somewhat thirsty for coins, tried her best not to be an evil person- seeing the rakuza about to cry caused her some feelings of pity, sorrow.

[13:38] Terhune tried it, he really did, but sadly he just wasn't quite fast enough to outpace a full-grown man. So, when he felt his collar being grabbed and felt the strength of the hand that grabbed? Well he was just sent careening backwards onto the bridge.

Rolling upwards from the fall his hand shot to the sword on his back. Drawing it with a crackle of lightening as he did so. Quickly leveling the weapon towards the Razukan. Still even as he got ready to fight his knees where wobbling, he'd never fought a person for real before. Running away was his ace in the hole and it'd always worked before.

As the Razukan advanced towards him he'd utter a few words. "You're just a bully, I already p-paid the taxes now sto-" Well, he should have known trying to talk it out. After a few second he took a deep breath.

Talking wasn't doing anything, but surely he could push the adult back a little and get out of there? With a rush he'd meet the advance of the Silvercap. His eyes darting to and fro to make sure he wasn't being surrounded and had a way out.

Bolt was once a kid like the one he was fighting. Always trying to fight. Telling others to screw. It struck a cord with the Razuka. Yet he sealed his fate the moment he defied him. He was an Enforcer, and anyone that broke the rules would be taught them.

Rushing forward he would strike. Their blades clashed together as he looked him in the eye. It was minimal effort. A kid could never defeat an adult. He was better in every way.

"Don't defy us. Don't defy me." Without hesitation he would lift the Terhune's blade up, allowing Bolt to get a slash in on his chest. Blood would drip from him as he quickly kicked him to the railing of the bridge.

"You need to smarten up, learn to pick your fights." Bolt would state, yet he never followed his own advice.

Only more Bolt would go for an attack with his sword. Yet this time it was a faint in order to bait Terhune to open himself up. And as soon as he did that?

Bolt's tail would smack him across the face, sending him into the river below.

"Ciao!"

[13:59] The moment a fight started up those various eyes flickered open in the spaces between spaces. The void was watching it's chosen for entertainment and he could feel that they where laughing at him. The same way these blackhats where laughing at him.

He was small and sickly, his speed wasn't enough to cross-blades with an adult like Bolt. Each clash of blade's sent shivers of pain up his arms. Each burst of blood left him feeling squeamish and bruised. It was when the blade crossed his chest, digging into the thin frame beneath. He hit the railing hard, nearly bouncing off of it.

Glaring now, his amber hues crackling with a sickly green spark as he looked at Bolt. "Shut up! I don't want to listen to a bully speak!" Yet, screaming didn't help him any. It only made him angrier and caused his wild attack to leave him vulnerable.

Though anything else he might've said was swallowed up as he felt the blunt of a tail striking his face and topping him over. He was dazed when he hit the water, dazed and wounded.

Who knows maybe he'd drown? Though, if he lived there was at-least one thing that could be guessed. It probably wasn't the last time they'd see him around. Unless, you know he did drown. Then hey, at-least they got his money?
