  1. RTA route for those running Kirby's Dream Land 3 Best Ending (this can also be used for 100% as well as a quick reference for animal/abilities in any%)
  2.  
  3. ***Level 1***
  4. 1-1: Get cat. Avoid flowers.
  5. 1-2: Get slime. Break blocks in 2nd area to reveal door. Touch spring w/ slime (no ability action).
  6. 1-3: Get owl. Guessing game.
  7. 1-4: In 3rd area, swallow rock. Break rock-only blocks. Defeat miniboss and grab doll.
  8. 1-5: Get Fish. Finish level with Fish.
  9. 1-6: In tall tree area, grab three juggling items. Grab fire and use fish blaster to shoot block on right. Leave fish and grab items. In area after big tree, go grab owl in door. Grab broom after getting owl.
  10. 1-B: Broom-owl the boss.

  12. ***Level 2***
  13. 2-1: Get bird. Get broom. Go into holes and water plants with bird spit.
  14. 2-2: Grab umbrella at beginning. Get fish. Find special dude and show him Fish + Umbrella long enough to make him happy.
  15. 2-3: Keep fish. Guessing game.
  16. 2-4: Keep fish. At end of autoscroll section, go in hidden door on left (normally visible by electric + fish). Fight miniboss and swallow needle. Use needle to get the frog.
  17. 2-5: Keep/get fish in level. When you get to area with land, go right into a door. Get fire. Go up and destroy fire-only blocks. Leave fish and go up and right. Go until you reach a rock. Swallow rock, break rock-only blocks where fire-only blocks were, and grab fish. In next section, go into door with bird. Grab broom in last room. Grab bird and finish level with bird.
  18. 2-6: Go back to 1-3 for Owl. In section with green spitters, do 1, 3, 2 (numbered from top). Go down in water and form blocks in shape of "puzzle piece".
  19. 2-B: Defeat boss with owl + broom.

  21. ***Level 3***
  22. 3-1: Should still have owl. Swallow fire at beginning. Don't crush the mushrooms and crush the flowers. Use fire to destroy everything in your path.
  23. 3-2: Grab/keep owl and fly through everything. Grab fire in first area to break through blocks. In third area grab broom at beginning. Jump off owl momentarily to sweep temporarily dusty parts.
  24. 3-3: Use Owl + Fire to tear through area. Guessing game is dumb.
  25. 3-4: Use Owl (Cat works as backup). In sandy water autoscroll area, go bottom, top and middle. Fight miniboss. Grab little dude.
  26. 3-5: Get Owl if you don't have it. In middle of autoscroll area, grab Slime inside door. After autoscroll, grab broom and fly up. Get cutter to break cutter-only blocks. Climb along the ceiling in last area. Can use cutter to help destroy enemies in way. Kinda a tough section here.
  27. 3-6: This one is fun. Everything happens inside the pyramid.
  28. * Top-right door: Go left door. Parasol. Electric. Needle. Rock. Get part.
  29. * Top-middle door: Go up, get part, go down.
  30. * Top-left door: Go middle, left, right, left, and middle.
  31. * Bottom-right door: Grab Fish + Umbrella from main bottom-middle door. Float across. Swim to part.
  32. * Bottom-left door: Grab Owl + Rock from main bottom-middle door. Get owl to other side and fly to part. (NOTE: Easy to die here)
  33. Keep owl through rest of level.
  34. 3-B: Get fire (3-1) or broom (3-2). Broom is faster kill, but tougher to not take damage with. Defeat boss with weapon + owl.

  36. ***Level 4***
  37. 4-1: If you don't have Owl, grab one in 1-3. Get fire when you see it. Go through most of level until last area with flowers. Get broom. Dust all flowers without crushing.
  38. 4-2: Owl. Grab needle at end. Pop balloon with chick.
  39. 4-3: Owl. Guessing game. Good luck.
  40. 4-4: Owl. Fire. Orange after miniboss.
  41. 4-5: Owl until Hamster. Get Hamster. Bounce on everything. Reach end with Hamster (Note: Hamster can climb walls).
  42. 4-6: May want to ditch critter here. Grab owl eventually in stage (middle door of 5). In next area with 5 doors, pick 4th door. Go until block puzzle. Match shape of "puzzle piece", except upside down.
  43. 4-B: Owl + Broom (Grab broom in 4-1, Owl in 4-4). Destroy all of Ado's creations + Ado himself. Ado himself is susceptible to Kirby slides.

  45. ***Chapter 5***
  46. 5-1: In later area, grab fire and defrost flowers (but don't touch them again and crush them).
  47. 5-2: Grab ice at some point (during autoscroll is ideal). Keep ice throughout entire volcano. Freeze metroids in three different doors.
  48. 5-3: Get Owl from 1-3 if you don't already have it. Guessing game based on sounds.
  49. 5-4: Grab fire and keep it. If you don't have owl, after fire dragon descent area (where dragons are on both sides), use fire on left blocks at bottom to get owl. Use Owl on ice blocks in next areas. Go in door only accessible with Fire + Owl (or other critter). In next area, alternate between slime and owl to get to far right door. Get back on owl before entering that door. Grab shell.
  50. 5-5: Before entering, go grab Cat in 1-1. Survive and finish level with cat.
  51. 5-6: Always go up middle at beginning (except for after last critter room, in which you'll go in left door). Grab owl. Swallow powers as they come (including miniboss powers), as the following rooms will have breakable blocks corresponding to each power plus a feather behind them. Grab all feathers.
