Readme for Startup Replacer

Name: UT3 Startup Replacer v01 Beta
Description: Replaces the original UT3 startup movies with the UT2007 ones.
PC, UT3, recommended Titan Pack and 2.0 or 2.1 patch.

Always remember to back up your files before doing this.

To use this you'll have to add the new video and disable the old ones. go to

"My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config"

Open UTEngine.ini with Windows Notepad or similar software.
Search for the entry [FullScreenMovie].

Now replace all of this:

StartupMovies=Copyright_PC
StartupMovies=EpicLogo
StartupMovies=MidwayLogo
StartupMovies=UE3_logo
StartupMovies=Nvidia_PC
StartupMovies=Intel_Duo_Logo
StartupMovies=UT_loadmovie1

SkippableMovies=EpicLogo
SkippableMovies=MidwayLogo
SkippableMovies=UE3_logo

so it will look like this:

Now the fun part.
Head over to C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Movies
Copy the file "UT2007Logo.bik" there.

Now UT3 will start with the new intro movie.

To add spice to the Splash Screen,
go to your UT3 installation folder
C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Splash\PC and replace the original Splash with mine. Remember to backup game files before attempting to edit or replacing them.
