  1. Sleep early, wake up early.

  3. The early hours are the most productive. Resist temptation to stay up late scratching head. Think about your problem while you drift to sleep, this increases the likelihood that you will dream in code. Eat healthy, protein, vegetable and unprocessed carb. Meditate to improve concentration. Remove distractions. Never code when you are tired and burned out, you actually cause more problems than you will fix.

  5. I used to have only about 2 hours a day productive 'in the zone' time but with good healthy lifestyle and meditation I can increase that to about 8 a day now.

  7. Also, no caffeine, no alcohol, no drugs.

  9. Your body is a sacred temple and your mind reflects the state of your body.
