- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "You are right - I did quite like the wispies. The
- healy ones? They sing so nice."
- Within a serene glade.
- Four pillars of sand flow onto a bed-sized slab of white marble which rises from the ground,
- surrounded by a nimbus of domotheon energies. Resting peacefully in repose upon the healing mound,
- the cocooned figure of the Goddess Li-varili is kept vigil by the gentle light of twinkling
- domothean crystals. A sickly taint wyrm with razor teeth is coiled on the ground here, spoiling her
- own flesh with her corrosive stench. Wreathed in aurulent ivy, a pristine healing mound gleams
- invitingly. Long tresses of emerald vines extending down her back, an ivy fae stands here, her
- downcast gaze demure. Veldrin frowns deeply, lines creasing her forehead. She wields a midnight
- black tear stained violin in her right hand.
- You see a single exit leading west.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "They do indeed. I believe
- that is due, in some part, to the Lady Rhapsody, or at least my Lady's great love for Her. I saw
- that you were at the healing mound a few moments past."

- You see a single exit leading west.
- A disarming sense of peace emanates from this sacred place as a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess
- Li-varili rests in repose, as if the Lady of the Lagoons rests outside of time and space itself.
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Descending in a series of heavy wingbeats, Avaris's arrival stirs up currents of
- displaced air as he alights to one side of a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili, taloned
- feet sinking into the earth for purchase. Straightening, he faces forward as he folds his wings at
- his back in a layered cloak of golden feathers, which he clasps his hands beneath. Several of the
- glowing, stylised eyes that reside in the aureate plumage fix upon Veldrin, and do not waver.
- ((LOOK Veldrin))
- She is an ordinary human vernal ascendant. She is rather short for her race. Her head is crowned
- with pure wispy silver locks that spill like a waterfall down over her form down to her feet.
- Countless tiny bells are woven into her hair dull and in some cases slightly chared. Her robe draped
- over her slight frame. A pair of black draconic wings sprout from her back, the muscles to weak too
- do much more then stir the air about her. A pair of horns run from her fore head back tword her
- crown. While her ears are mostly hidden in her hair, Slight points can been seen to them. Her face
- bares high cheek bones and a pair of soft pale grey eyes. Her skin appears to be coated in a mostly
- clear flexable crystal shell. Tattooed on her gut is an illustration of a golden Ouroboros. Velvety
- coils of incandescent indigo billow about her shoulders like a luxurious shawl, its threads woven of
- eventide fog and vespertine blooms.
- Resembling an entity from the cosmic planes, her head is wreathed in undulating strands of
- shimmering cosmic fire. Attuned to her moods, the chromatic waves are in constant flux, from rising
- up in a halo of incandescent anger to streaming back in ripples of pleasure.
- She is wearing:
- a changeling intaglio
- a fesix bandolier
- a feathered mantle of eternal despair
- an ebon stop watch of caliginous shadows
- a Sigil of the Ouroboros embedded deeply around her navel
- a golden Ouroboros ring
- a dark Ouroboros veil crown
- an ominous cloak of the Ouroboros
- a string of serpentine prayer beads of Legion
- a fesix bandolier
- a sleek pilot uniform infused with aetherlight
- a golden Ouroboros ring
- the Mage's Belt of Extraordinary Relativity
- a circlet of interlocking crystal
- an iron ring of churning smog
- a sombre hollow tongue stud
- a stole of the Ouroborian Priesthood
- white onyx prayer beads embellished with quartz
- a Crown of the Soulless.
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Veldrin inclines her head politely to you.
- In a cool chorus of many layered voices, Avaris responds to Veldrin's
- acknowledgement with, "Tainted. Your purpose here?"
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Our purpose? we aided with the healing, played a song, and now await any who
- need to learn how aide in the healing."
- Antennae curving sinuously towards Veldrin, Avaris says, "How noble. Your
- motivation for doing so?"
- Veldrin ponders a moment before responding softly, "we prayed to The Lady Emyreal for a way to
- assist as long as it did not destroy us, or run counter to Magnagora...a follower of her approched
- us and taught us the method a few weaves ago".
- Impassive, the light-forged markings roaming about in patient vigilance about the
- area, Avaris says, "That is not your motivation. Why do you wish to assist my Lady?"
- Veldrin frowns slightly at the question, "If your lady is The Healer, we assist because we asked to
- assist, if your lady is the one of Lagoons, we assist because we know what it is to be alone ... our
- general consensious within is more Eldars combat ready increases the over all survival rate of the
- basin against the Soulless".
- Veldrin says with a slight huff, " we have uncounted reasons and motivations..if you have the time
- we could walk you though more of them.."
- In an even manner, that is very faintly dry in its delivery, Avaris replies, "You
- assist because you asked to assist. That is not motivation. Why did you ask to assist in the first
- place? As for survival rate, this One is hardly a boon in that regard. Did She not wipe out a
- colossal number of lives in Her misguided Awakening?" Freeing a hand from beneath his wings, he
- gestures at Veldrin in invitation, claws glinting. "By all means."
- You sense the passage of Calfuray to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Calfuray enters from the west, emanating an aura of immense power.
- Veldrin gives a soft sigh, "lets see then, some with in wish to help because if our sister was
- wounded we would wish help healing or aiding her..Others because it is a "good thing" to do..others
- because we where curious if it would be possible..others because we where bored.."
- Calfuray's eyes twinkle enchantingly.
- Within a serene glade.

- surrounded by a nimbus of domotheon energies. Resting peacefully in repose upon the healing mound,

- invitingly. Flickering like a ghostly light, a will-o-wisp floats through the air. Veldrin D'Cente
- is here, shrouded. She wields a midnight black tear stained violin in her right hand. Glistening
- with a sanguine beauty, a she'nasim nereid casts a disdainful glare on her surroundings.
- You see a single exit leading west.
- ((LOOK Calfuray))
- She is a glistening mugwump demigoddess. Midnight skin covers her body, dark shades of blues,
- purples, and greens flow over lean, well-defined muscles. Her body curves around the chest and under
- the waist, accentuating her feminine features. Stark white hair has been neatly braided into thin
- rows, moving from her forehead all the way back to hang just over her shoulder, each braid adorned
- with a feather, or a tiny skull, a wooden bead or a runed pebble. The braids are bothered only by
- dual rows of short spikes, both beginning at the centre of her forehead and finishing just under the
- ears. Humanoid mouth and nose adorn the face, resting under a pair of large, yellow eyes with dark
- pupils. A slight sheen covers her skin, the result of a protective liquid secreted from her skin,
- which also results in every fabric sticking to her skin. Soothing mists of water and light weave
- about her in a sparkling white veil, marking the truefavour of Lantra, the Empyreal. The
- intoxicating fragrance of bromeliads perfumes the air as a glaucous spray of water churns
- impulsively about her, relishing the truefavour of Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons.
- She is wearing:
- a bloodstone lizard bracelet
- a midnight-black engagement ring set with a fiery ruby
- a beautiful silver bracelet with jeweled wildflowers
- a sapphire heart pendant
- a platinum skeletal exoskeleton
- an alluring bromeliad flower is tucked between the neat white braids of her hair
- a smooth pearl ring
- a silver snake ring
- a ring of tortured arias.
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Any out of love?"
- Veldrin continues on, "others because of our anger at precived injustice..others to keep an eye on
- her..others to watch out for plots or dangers.."
- Replying to Veldrin, Avaris says, "It is unusual for a Magnagoran to claim to be so
- concerned with doing the 'good thing', as you put it." At Calfuray's arrival, a large number of the
- effulgent, stylised eyes that adorn the kephera's wings shift to her, where they remain. "You are
- one of the Bloodtide Coven."
- Veldrin takes a deep breath.
- Veldrin's ears perk up as her attention turns towards Calfuray.
- Veldrin D'Cente says to Calfuray, "We love our sisters..we think.."
- Veldrin sucks thoughtfully on her teeth.
- Veldrin dryly responds as they turn back to the location Avaris voice is coming form, "We are
- Veldrin..unusual is a common descriptor for us".
- At the confirmation, the expressionless visor of Avaris's helm-like head turns
- slowly to face Calfuray, the curved blades of his golden, layered crest shining in the sunlight.
- "Your motivation for assisting in that moronic endeavour?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Dreams, inspirations, fun, love."
- Staring at Calfuray, Avaris's ensuing silence is thick with disapproval, which
- suffuses the resonant harmony of his words. "I see. You are insane."
- Veldrin gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "*a flurry of pastel colors, a sense of apology,
- anxiety, familiar excitement* --Ah, am sorry - so sorry. There were many peoples aiding Her,
- earlier, and was keeping up many conversations at once. I did not mean to lose tracks - it is nice,
- a nice place, and nicely to see so many coming to-gether to bring Her helps, Her healies..."
- Calfuray nods her head sagely at you.
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Curse of my kin."
- Avaris gestures at Calfuray with a curt motion of his upper right hand, sharp tips
- tracing gold lines through the air. "Explain."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Are you familiar with project Soulforge?"
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "I am not."
- Calfuray gives a pained sigh.
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says to Veldrin, "Isn't it sad when religion replaces
- knowledge?"
- Veldrin's ears perk up as her attention turns towards Calfuray.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "They are not mutually exclusive.."
- Avaris dips his sharp chin down in a brief nod at Veldrin. "The Tainted is correct.
- Explain yourself, if you care so much about spreading knowledge."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Project Soulforge is another of Celest's failures."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "[The
- mental equivalent of an eye turning briefly your way, the regard lacking in hostility.] I believe
- so. Displeased, as ever, but well enough. What of yourself, Illyria?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "One that destroyed the research institute of Balach
- swamp."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Because why shouldn't an empire harness the power of a
- soulless god?"
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "[feather soft and somehow liquid, the tranquil sense of
- nearness grows stronger as she contemplates] I am.. happy. Very much so. It pleases me to hear that
- you are healing- your mind certainly feels more whole. Displeased, though?"
- Resonant, calm, and clear, the sound of a distant feminine voice chants softly in a language beyond
- your understanding as faint motes of white brighten and arc about a cocoon of light bearing the
- Goddess Li-varili.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "It is quite alright,
- Gurashi. It seems that your announcement achieved the desired effect, if so many are frequenting the
- mound, and providing aid. There has been no trouble, I trust?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Anyway, that mess unleashed a wave of Muud's influence
- over Balach, and essentially drove the entire Mugwump population into madness."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "*assent - assent - assent* Ah! Yes! Ouwah - BOTHS of
- thems, have, actually, did you know? The ones about Miss Vaevaya, and about uhm, the Healing Mound,
- too? Have had peoples ask me about Miss Vaevaya and promise to send her wishes and things!!"
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "And, yes! Are all sorts of peoples at the mound! I
- spent a whole two days with Miss Veldrin - did you know she plays musics for the Lady while She
- sleeps? Gentle kinds, wishing Her to get better. And other peoples, they pray and talk to Her!
- Peoples in cocoons can hear what is going on outside of thems, after all. I am glad so many are
- being so nicely to She."
- The sharp sound of chitin tapping upon adamant carapace emanates from beneath
- Avaris's wings as he listens, expression unreadable. "And you use that as an excuse for your
- abhorrent actions?"
- Calfuray gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Of course not."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I already listed the reasons of why I did that."
- Veldrin turns her attention towards you as her ears perk up in interest.
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "Which stem from your claimed insanity, yes?"
- Calfuray shrugs helplessly.
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Who knows."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I'm certainly not a healer."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "[A brief
- increase in interest.] Oh? What is it that has made you so very happy? I am haler, now, yes. My Lady
- is kind, as ever. [A faint, irritable weariness.] Oh, much of the same. Misguided fools, and
- engaging in supporting those that I have no desire to."
- Calfuray laughs out loud.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "I was not aware that the
- Tainted played music, no. That is kind, in its way. I admit that I did not expect such a fervent
- degree of care for Her."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "And yet you seek to join my Lady. Why is that?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "To learn."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "*there is a very long pause at this, the colors
- swirling, at first hues of indigo and cerulean, brightening back to saffron, sunset shades* Peoples
- are largely goodly, I think. A lot of peoples and Peoples wanted to help Her, remember? I think, it
- is in our natures, to want to reach outs when someone or Someone is suffering."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Though She did hold an audience with me, and advised
- me to wait."
- Staring still at Calfuray, Avaris's voice is cool as he says, "I am aware. You are
- capable of learning healing elsewhere. Why do you seek my Lady for this purpose?"
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "Mm.. [The first question is considered- or rather, the
- willingness to answer is considered. Instead of a vocal reply, the shadowed serenity of her mind is
- briefly lit with a glittering constellation of smoke-shaded stars, like aphotic diamonds glittering
- in and reflecting the imperceptible but palpable light of a love that runs deep to the very soul.
- Then, it is veiled away once more.] Supporting the misguided? Or supporting those who support the
- misguided?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Do you know of any other Hamadhi around?"
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Perhaps I should put my efforts into beaconing a
- certain other Hamadhi? Is that what you wish?"
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "I know of a great many other healers. You are not
- capable of learning a Hamadhi's arts."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "I would prefer that only those truly Devoted to my
- Lady come to Her, for who She is, not what She can provide them. I do not care what you do with
- yourself, so long as you do not trouble Her, or Hers."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "You use such possessive language."
- The angle of Avaris's head shifts, the ridged flare of his jaw rising. "You are not
- very familiar with how the dynamic of Divine and servant works, are you? I am Hers. I serve Her, and
- thus She is my Lady, as She is the Lady of all in Her Order. There is nothing possessive about it.
- You would refer to Queen Azula as your Queen, and be correct in it, without laying claim to her as a
- person."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "I must rest, but please hear me on one last thing. The
- council voted on allowing me into the city, and the Lady Empyreal did not toss me back out. If you
- have problems with my citizen status, take it up to either of Them. As it should be."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "I will take my problems with you up with you, as
- is proper. You will not escape the consequences of your participation in that terrible act entirely,
- wretch. Not while I persist."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Go ahead. Attack a citizen."
- Veldrin mutters and traces a cobalt blue pentagram in the air that remains hovering before her.
- Avaris's antennae curls at this, disdain ringing in the harmony of his choral
- tones. "When did I ever say that I would attack you? I need not ever touch you."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "Ah, good. Then if it's only talking, I could just
- drown out that chittering."
- Humble Calfuray, Avower of the Archons says, "May you both have a wonderful day!"
- The chirping of crickets surrounds you in a medley of night-time music.
- Calfuray bows respectfully before the cocoon.
- Calfuray leaves to the west, emanating an aura of immense power.
- You sense the passage of Calfuray to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Looking downtrodden, Veldrin sadly shakes her head.
- Watching the departing mugwump in silence for a time, Avaris eventually turns his
- attention back to Veldrin. "Your opinion on that fool's actions, in supporting the Lady Li-varili?"
- Veldrin turns her attention towards you as her ears perk up in interest.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Which part of supporting her? as in the trying to channel the eye to awaken a
- unknown spirit? or in general support of Li'varili."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "The supposed betrayal of her communie..?"
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "[The
- umbral-touched stars are considered in turn by a vast constellation of effulgent, stylised eyes,
- their regard intent. The love elicits a strange discomfort from him, which is swiftly obscured by a
- wall of bladed light.] Ah. I see. How fortunate for you both. I support my Lady, and Her endeavours.
- You are aware of the fallen Lady of the Lagoon's ongoing convalescence?"
- Avaris lifts a spiked shoulder in a slight shrug. "Whichever you like. All, if you
- choose - Though I was referring to the first portion, moreso."
- Veldrin creases her brow in a frown.
- Veldrin sips lucidity slush from an Ouroborian vial of jade and black diamond.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "If that were the case, then
- there would be little or not conflict in the world, I feel. Too many disregard the suffering of
- others in favour of their own gain, whatever form that takes."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "*they consider this, mulling over their thoughts for
- a time, drifting back to silence - rather suddenly they speak up again, voice ringing bright* Mister
- Avaris, do ... you like to read??"
- Veldrin ponders quietly a moment as their crystal shell takes on a slightly hazy shade of grey, "We
- are unsure about all the talk about betraying her communie as we have not confirmed from their
- leadership any exspress orders not to aide the Lady Li'varili".
- Veldrin continues with a slight sigh, "Assisting a bitter, angry, Eldar in the channeling of an
- artifact that is beyond their power in a task that is dangrous was foolish...though we are unsure if
- we would of aided, we were deinied the chance to make that choice..until anger made the choice for
- us.."
- Veldrin slumps slightly as their skin throbs a deep amber, "As to the general support..we know what
- it is to be alone, and betrayed..that gives us both strong reason to support her, and to know how
- dangrous a state of mind that is.."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "It is one of the activities
- that I take great satisfaction from, yes. It is how I learned much of what I know today. Why do you
- ask?"
- Listening in silence, Avaris watches Veldrin impassively for a time, returning his
- hand to its brethren at the small of his back. "I see. If given the choice, would you have supported
- Her?"
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Ah! Oh, ahm. *it is as if you can see them before
- you, fingers tapping together, anxiety and hesitation and eagerness, embarrassment all painted
- clearly before your mind's eye* I have. Written things! I, uh."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We spent much time at her fulcrux..we wished to be her friend and let her
- know she was not alone..to sooth and calm before..bad things."
- Veldrin gives a pained sigh.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "[A benign patience, his
- presence calm and steady, reassuring in its quite expectancy.]."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "If the Warlady had ordered us to support her in channeling the Eye, we likely
- would of."
- A misty wisp of healing light floats out to the west, faintly dimming in brilliance.
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "I-I mentioned that was making a book, about my Most
- Beloveds Mysrai? Made a books for Thems. I think mentioned. I finished! And, ah, I wanted to know,
- if you had any interest in reading it? *a pause* ... and, then, I wrote, ANOTHER book, yes! A
- differently one, yes. And a letter to go along with THAT ones, 'cause we usually miss one-anothers.
- But it is a little embarrassing."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "B-but! I wanted to know, if might have any interest,
- in reading either, or, boths, or neither?? I do not write books, normally. The first one I wrote was
- kind of dumb and pointless, but these are ... nnnnot?"
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you ask, "And if she had given neither orders for or
- against, but left it up to your discretion?"
- Veldrin erratically pulsates in hues of ruby, emerald and sapphire.
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "[No attempt is made to intrude upon the discomfort,
- even before it is veiled] I have, yes. I have empowered Her magnolias as well. I do not think the
- Lady should suffer needlessly- either She should be removed entirely, or healed entirely. That half-
- state of suffering is what drove Her to Her actions in the first place."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We are..unsure..consensious was never reached within."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "[A keen sense of sincere
- curiosity.] I would be most interested in reading both, if you are comfortable with the prospect,
- Gurashi. I do not mind waiting until you are ready to show it to others - I know it can
- be...Difficult, to show such aspects of yourself to others, when you are not confident in them."
- Avaris's antennae twitch towards Veldrin at this. "Elaborate upon that."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "The danger to Magnagora and the basin in channeling the Eye was..most
- consider an unacceptable level of risk for anything under a soulless attempting to devour the
- Basin..again.."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Ah! Oh! Uh! No! I have no hesitations about the ones
- for my Most Beloved, I do not. That one is even in Their libraries, I think They liked it! Maybe?
- She giggled a lot, but She often giggles as a mothie ... *there is a long, contemplative pause, the
- anxiety fading, replaced with something number, quieter* I would like to share this with you, I
- think. Had already decided, yes."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "I will be, ah, sending you two things, in a moment,
- then! Do not have to read now, by any means!"
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "[An
- unamused thrumming of agreement.] Indeed. I would be wary about voicing your opinion as to the
- former option. The Elders do not take such well, from experience."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We've been told repeatly by .."
- Veldrin clenches her fists as she angrily flickers a ruby red.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Some..that there is addtional information and things are not black and white
- but a grey.."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "I will be sure to read them
- when I am able to afford them the entirety of my attention, as they no doubt deserve."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "Such as?"
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "T-thank you! Thank you many thank yous - you are very
- kind, yes yes. Please be ready, my dirigibles will be bringing thems to you so be ready to catch."
- With a loud yet playful whistle, a mechanical dirigible comes puttering in on currents of air, its
- metallic claw grasping a leather bound book of pressed blossoms, which it quickly deposits in your
- hands.
- A mechanical dirigible bobs up and down on the air currents before jets of steam erupt from several
- of its valves, then putters off.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "You have nothing to thank
- me for, Gurashi. It is you that is giving the gift, not I."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "No no, you are doing me a kindness by willing to
- reads, that is a kindness in itselfs, yes yes."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Dirigibles ... puttering ..."
- With a loud yet playful whistle, a mechanical dirigible comes puttering in on currents of air, its
- metallic claw grasping a pretty violet letter, which it quickly deposits in your hands.
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "A-ha! Yes yes there it goes, there are thems boths."
- A mechanical dirigible bobs up and down on the air currents before jets of steam erupt from several
- of its valves, then putters off.
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Did they both a-rrive? I do not usually not NOT rely
- on Biziriks..."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "They will not tell us, we've not spoken to much of our city sense the
- event..we currently consider those who assisted the blood coven outside the one who has explained
- why they did what they did to be Traitors .."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "But..the Warlady apprently dose not which likely means she has more
- information then us.."
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Gurashi, The Heart's Friend, "They arrived safely,
- Gurashi, indeed. That is a useful contraption that you have."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "Isn't it cute? It was what I had long long long
- before I ever found Bizi even."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "It is possible once we understand their reasoning, and what ever was promised
- or the like that we will change our view.."
- Veldrin sways back and forth.
- Veldrin takes a deep breath and closes their eyes, the red glow fading from their form.
- The air about Avaris shivers as he utters a low, thoughtful vibration of sound. "I
- see. Do you foresee the Warlady sharing this information with you?"
- Veldrin shrugs softly with a sigh, "If it serves the city for us to know, likely, if not.. we
- possibly will not be informed.."
- Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "I must go now, Mister Avaris. Stay goodly and kind,
- yes! Goodly lucks with the Ladies, yes yes!"
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "Hm. Who would, when one mentions the killing of one of
- their few remaining kin? And yet... it remains my opinion."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We think all of the blood Coven should explain what the Nil they where
- thinking..if it was a grab for personal power..if they where promised the Eye..what ever their
- reason we feel there is still something hidden.."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "I would,
- if the kin were a danger to others, and needed to be put down."
- Veldrin creases her brow in a frown.
- Avaris's head jerks down in a sharp nod. "We are in agreement on this. It seems
- that all are content to allow them to saunter onwards, free of consequence. I do not understand it."
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "[a general sense of quiet agreement, though touched
- with sadness]."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "And now..one who repeatly visited her fulcrux while in the coven has appeared
- here twice in one weave, a similar pattern which makes us even more paranoid.."
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you ask, "You believe they are engaged in malfeasance?"
- Veldrin thrusts her palm towards her forehead and hits it with a resounding *smack*!
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We are Magnagorian, we'"
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We've learned everyone has alteror motives at all times it seems."
- Veldrin gives a pained sigh.
- Calmly, and with complete sincerity, Avaris says, "I do not. Nor does my Lady."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We've never met your Lady, or you..so that is possible we suppose.."
- Veldrin sucks thoughtfully on her teeth.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "For now, healing their Lady lightly aligns with the general will of your
- Lady."
- Veldrin creases her brow in a frown.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Annoying! looking into words to much."
- Veldrin mutters discontentedly.
- A slight inclination of Avaris's head precedes, "She wishes to repair the damage
- that was done to the Lady of the Lagoons, because it is the right thing to do. There is no ulterior
- motive, no subtle plan, or expectation of reward - Nor even gratitude. My Lady would do the same,
- even if She knew beyond a doubt that Lady Li-varili would lash out at Her the moment She awoke."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We agree, our sister was known for her rage, if she where injured and we
- could healer her..we would..even though she likely would just rage again."
- Veldrin sways back and forth.
- Veldrin's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you say, "Tell me of your sister. You have spoken of her a
- number of times, now."
- Veldrin shrugs helplessly.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Her name was Munsia, she was a geomancer, and the Earthen Ire .. she killed
- and was highly disrupted about as much inside the city as without."
- You sense the passage of Illyria to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- The surrounding shadows stretch and writhe, coiling lovingly around Illyria as she enters from the
- west.
- Winking motes of crepuscular dreams drift in from the west, heralding the arrival of a nimble dream
- phoenix with wings made of lissome shadows.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "She is gone now..as is Sister Arimisia..so our siblings are gone."
- Veldrin shrugs helplessly.
- Drifting like a mirrored inverse of the willowisps, Illyria pauses within the glade, laying a hand
- upon a tree and listening curiously as she takes in and assesses those present.
- Veldrin's ears perk up as her attention turns towards Illyria.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "New person! do you require instruction on how to assist the healing?"
- With a quiet sound of understanding, Avaris nods, offering no words of comfort.
- Several of the radiant eyes within his wings turn at Illyria's arrival, as does his visored face.
- "Illyria."
- You sense the passage of Aeldra to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Aeldra inclines her head politely to those around her.
- Boundless light flows forth from a pure white magnolia flower in its descent, floating gently
- towards a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili in a swirl of soothing energies. The
- entirety of the healing mound illuminates in answer, drawing strength from the offering.
- The Goddess Li-varili stirs gently in Her repose, the illumined scars upon the length of Her body
- fading somewhat as the light of the magnolias shines amidst the slow, gradual process of healing.
- Aeldra appears suddenly refreshed and rejuvenated as a gentle white light suffuses her in its
- immaculate glow.
- Illyria studies Veldrin quietly, bemusement written faintly on her face. "No. I require no
- assistance," she says simply, crossing the glade on the opposite side, closer to you to approach the
- cocoon.
- You incline your head politely to Aeldra.
- The soft voice of Illyria tickles your ear, "A Magnagoran? What does she want here?"
- As Illyria gently brushes her fingertips across a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili, one
- of the pure white magnolia blossoms flowering about Her gently floats into her grasp.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Reader Illyria, Listener of the Silent Knell, "Apparently
- to do "the good thing." I am struggling to accept it as truth, but they seem to believe it as so.
- They are unusual. I suggest speaking with them."
- A pert little nose takes in a delicate whiff of Veldrin's surroundings.
- Veldrin inclines her head politely to Aeldra.
- Aeldra briefly scans the room, smiling at you as she sees you, before resting her eyes
- contemplatively upon a cocoon of light bearing the Goddess Li-varili.
- Holding the magnolia in her palm, the lambent white petals all the more brilliant against the
- shadows that curl around her wrists and fingers, Illyria returns her gaze to Veldrin. "I would not
- have expected a Magnagoran to care for a healing ritual," she murmurs.
- Unmoving from his post by the cocoon as Illyria approaches, the myriad, glowing
- eyes of Avaris's wings shift to keep track of each occupant of the area. "Lady Aeldra."
- Veldrin gives a slight grin as they respond, "yea, one of those fun games of one of these things is
- not like the other".
- Veldrin sucks thoughtfully on her teeth.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Have you wished
- upon our new star friend? I think that you would like her very much, given her closeness to our
- Lady, and general innocence and sense of joyous wonder."
- Illyria's eyes flick to a sickly taint wyrm with razor teeth, her nose twitching at the unmistakable
- scent of taint, and then back. She lifts her shoulder in a tiny shrug, then turns and drifts back
- into the trees, holding the magnolia out before her in her cupped hands.
- Light and shadow ripple as a crepuscular dream phoenix glides west with a proud sweep of her wings
- made of lissome shadows, trailing swirling eddies of flower petals.
- You sense the passage of Illyria to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We really should write a pamphlet or something..hand it out to avoid
- repeating response to questions."
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "As a matter of fact, I have earlier written a
- letter with a wish to this lovely star friend, whom I hope to one day meet in person."
- Veldrin D'Cente says to you, "You're interorgation was rather effective, we would likely use it if
- that is ok.."
- Veldrin sucks thoughtfully on her teeth.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Maybe pin it to our chest or something.."
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Ah. I am not
- certain if she can read, in truth - That is why I encouraged Gurashi to instruct others to utilise
- origami that speak. I also believe that she does not generally venture forth from beneath our Lady's
- aegis in New Celest. If you wish to meet her, you may wish to linger there for a time, and look to
- the stars. Somewhere quieter, perhaps, within the city."
- Lifting a massive, armoured shoulder in an indifferent shrug, Avaris replies, "If
- that is what you wish. Do not twist my words or intent, and I have no qualms with it."
- Veldrin sways back and forth.
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "Oh, I was not aware of that. Well, I will see
- that I spend some time under the open sky in the city... the gardens are a lovely place, well, if
- the weather is not, you know, as the usual."
- You sense the passage of Illyria to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Winking motes of crepuscular dreams drift in from the west, heralding the arrival of a nimble dream
- phoenix with wings made of lissome shadows.
- Illyria appears suddenly refreshed and rejuvenated as a gentle white light suffuses her in its
- immaculate glow.
- Aeldra's eyes narrow slightly, a hint of a frown on her lips.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "That would be a really fast way of undercutting the whole thing.."
- Illyria glances at Veldrin, catching only the last, and frowning.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Indeed so. I have
- encountered her both times within the meditation gardens. She enjoys the pond there, I believe,
- though she does not like the storms very much. Perhaps invite her inside one of the buildings
- nearby, if she does appear to you there."
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "Hm, near the willow tree?"
- Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.
- It is now the 5th of Juliary, 594 years after the Coming of Estarra.
- The air around Aeldra blurs as she chants under her breath. She shakes her head and blinks in
- confusion.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Ah, near the
- southwest of the area, but anywhere pleasant should suffice. Ask her to show you her doll - That
- will make her happy."
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "I will certainly ask her to do so."
- Caressing your ear, the voice of Aeldra whispers, "I shall go and seek such a spot, if trouble
- arises, am only a call away. I hope we can speak soon in less... dire circumstances."
- Aeldra inclines her head politely to those around her.
- Aeldra has left the area.
- Veldrin sways back and forth.
- The dense fluff of his mane stirring in the breeze, Avaris is otherwise still as he
- maintains his vigil by the cocoon.
- Illyria curtseys gracefully before you.
- Light and shadow ripple as a crepuscular dream phoenix glides west with a proud sweep of her wings
- made of lissome shadows, trailing swirling eddies of flower petals.
- You sense the passage of Illyria to the west with a faceted pair of crystalline ears.
- Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Lady Aeldra Ladyn, of Cerulean Waters, "Likewise, Aeldra.
- I wish you well with her."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "..where they glaring at us?"
- Voice resonating with choral harmonics, you ask, "Any particular they?"
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "We felt hostility..wanted to make sure it was either just our imigination
- or..not..we rarely leave interact with others outside our city aisde from battle so our social
- senses might be a bit off.."
- Veldrin twitches spasmodically.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Sorry, we rarely interact..the leave was part of another thought."
- Dipping his head in a small nod of understanding, Avaris says, calmly, "Then it is
- likely they were, yes. Magnagorans are not a popular people."
- Veldrin gives a pained sigh.
- Veldrin slumps down, slowly throbbing a deep amber.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Aye, fair enough."
- Veldrin inclines her head politely to you.
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Be well, and vigilient we feel better leaving if you are going to be about
- for a bit."
- Veldrin D'Cente says, "Oh."
- The angle of Avaris's visored face tracks Veldrin's descent, utterly
- expressionless. "If you are unhappy with it, there are better places to pledge yourself to." To
- Veldrin's words, he nods. "I ever am."
- Veldrin gives a small divine cookie to you.
- Veldrin spreads her arms wide, and the air between her hands begins to warp and twist, dancing with
- brilliant multicoloured light as she bores a hole through the fabric of the planes.
- Avaris regards the cookie in silence for a time, then nods curtly.
- The air freshens as a sickly taint wyrm with razor teeth slithers off to the ether.
- Once the Magnagoran is gone, Avaris lifts the cookie up and crushes it into powder,
- flicking the remnants aside with distaste.
- You put a small divine cookie into a portable incineration bin.
- The hinged doors on a portable incineration bin bend and contort to properly accommodate the size of
- a small divine cookie, before snapping shut with a clang. A sudden WOOSH follows, with a thin wisp
- of smoke wafting out from a minute gap between the doors. The doors on a portable incineration bin
- soon reopen, revealing naught inside but spent ash.
- You think to yourself: "As if I would ever foul myself with that which has touched the Taint."
