- [F4M] "Walk With Me" - Spontaneous Date With a Confident Fan [not fan like the appliance] [Strangers to Lovers] [Confident Speaker] [Small Talk] [Flirting] [Walking in the Rain] [Kissing]
- For the sake of this audio, you, dear listener, are in some bitchin' band. You've just played your last set at this bar. The speaker is a recent fan, and she is quite confident, so after the show, she comes to introduce herself. She asks you out for a stroll and a coffee, to get to know you.
- [square brackets] for tone/actions, SFX where noted (optional)
- *asterisks* for emphasis
- double spaces for longer pauses
- /slashes/ used for explanations of sounds or actions or any contextual events

- Hey there! That was a great set you guys just did.
- Yeah they've been great~
- Oh you noticed? I *have* been at the past couple, good eye.
- I thought it was about time I introduced myself. "Meet the man behind the music", and all that.
- I know, I know. But I did want to meet you, especially.
- Well you seemed interesting enough. And you're rather cute~
- [laughs] Yes, the "interesting" part was also a compliment. You're welcome~
- So I know we've only just officially met, but what's the rest of your night looking like?
- Ok...so what do you think about grabbing a coffee with me? I know it's kind of late but it's still really nice out.
- I'm pretty sure you don't *actually* have things to finish up here. I can see the rest of your band giving you the go ahead. They're making quite a show of it.
- Come on, don't worry about it. Walk with me~
- [SFX: light rain ambience]
- Ok well...not too nice out anymore, huh?
- No, we can still go out. I brought an umbrella. Besides, a walk in the rain can be kind of romantic, don't you think?
- Yes, I said romantic. Let's step to it, cutie.
- Oh I'll keep the umbrella, it's no biggie.
- [SFX: stepping]
- It doesn't matter really, but I am taller than you, so it *is* easier for me. I hope you're cool with that.
- Yeah, a lot of guys aren't that wild about things like this [laughs] You seem fine with it, though.
- Well that's good to know.
- So, pick your poison: Are you up for standard date small talk or would you prefer something with a bit more substance?
- Hm? Would you *not* call this a date? We're taking a nice stroll in the rain, grabbing some coffee, getting to know each other...I think its safe to call this a first date, no?
- Nice to know we can be on the same page.
- I think...lets do small talk first. I want to know more about you and the band.
- Like...how long have you all been playing together?
- You all have such a great vibe when you're playing, I figured as much. It's really cool that you're all so close.
- Oh you've been friends since high school? Wow that's some history you all have.
- And what about that bar? Do you play there often?
- Ok, you guys are *way* more connected than I thought. And to think I used to walk by all this time. Who knows, maybe I could have met you much sooner~
- Yeah it's on a route I use quite often.
- Mhmm~ You see that statue over there? I pass by it every day. And the café down that street? The bread they make is best on Fridays.
- So...if you stick with me...I can show you all of these great spots~
- Sorry I'm kind of leading this whole conversation, I tend to do that. Anything you want to ask?
- "Why did I ask you out?" Straight to the point, hm? I like that.
- Would you believe me if I told you that I find all you musicians incredibly sexy?
- [laughs] I'm kidding, I'm kidding~
- Not that you aren't, of course~
- But to answer your question, it was your eyes. But not in the cheesy "oh his eyes are so dreamy" kind of way. I noticed that when you would play, your eyes just radiated warmth. I think its great when someone does something they love and you can just *see* it, y'know? Like through everything they do.
- Oh look at you~ Do you not get many compliments like that?
- You should probably get used to it then, I'm not one to hold things back.
- Yeah it's important to be comfortable saying what you need to. I know what I want, and I have no problem expressing that.
- More often than not, it puts people on the back foot. They're not too used to a woman being this direct.
- Its nice to find someone who takes it in stride.
- Ah here we are. This place makes great chai lattes. Can I get one for you too?
- No no no, don't you dare. I invited you out, so I'll get this. How about I let you grab our next one, hmm?
- Well, I have a feeling there'll be a lot of "next ones"~
- Perfect~ So two lattes?
- Oh, a hot chocolate? A little something sweet for my something sweet?
- [laughs] You sure blush easily~ But no problem, I'll be right back.
- Here we are~
- Hey it looks like the rain stopped as well. Great, now we don't need this pesky umbrella.
- Come on, link arms with me~
- [SFX: stepping]
- It's really beautiful tonight, don't you think? After it rains, the sky gets so clear. You can see all the stars now.
- Hm? Oh no, nothing like that. I just enjoy looking at the stars. Appreciate the little things, y'know?
- Yeah, like a hot drink in the cold, the night sky, a walk in the rain with a cute guy~
- [laughs] Well get used to it~
- Ok tough guy, you can *try* and make me blush, but I promise that's no easy feat.
- Nope, try again.
- Close, but no cigar.
- Normally, you'd think third time's the charm, but I guess not, hmm?
- I do appreciate all these compliments, though.
- Pouting, are we? [laughs] Well, if you get to know me, you might find out my weakness.
- Well then, ask away.
- [SFX: fountain bubbling]
- Ooh first come sit with me. Yeah, right by the fountain.
- Don't be shy to squeeze in close. This *is* the only dry spot on here. Come on~
- Ok I'm ready now. "20 Questions" me, or whatever.
- Starting off mild, are we? Ok, obviously I like your band's stuff. But I'm not too picky. My music taste is all over the place, so I can never really give a straight answer.
- I thought you wanted to figure out my weakness? Ramp it up here, pretty boy~
- Ooh, going straight for the big ones now? Ok~
- So, something that a lot of people have trouble with is accepting themselves. They tend to look at all their insecurities instead of all the things that make them great. I was like that too, at first. But at some point you just have to be like "why should I give a damn?" Sure there'll be things you'd like to improve but you can always work with what you like about yourself and go from there.
- I guess since I figured that out early on, I've had a lot of time to become as sure of myself as I am now. Some people aren't used to that, so I'm really glad you're this comfortable with me.
- I guess that's a bit heavy, but hey, you asked, right?
- Are you ok? You're kind of...staring.
- It's dark but I can see that warmth in your eyes again...Feel like telling me something~?
- Oh really now~? Ok cutie~ [kiss]
- Bold- [kiss] aren't we? [kiss]
- [soft and intimate] Feel like explaining yourself, hm? [chuckle] No, I wanted to kiss you too, don't say anything~
- [kiss]
- Back to the questions, I see? But yeah I knew you were single. I met your drummer before. It was honestly just a coincidence. She gave me the whole low-down. She even thought we'd be great together, so you can thank her.
- For the record, I think we'd be great together, too. [kiss]
- [SFX: light rain ambience]
- Ah, it's starting again.
- Oh, you'll hold the umbrella this time? Sure~
- Come on, up then. Walk with me~
