  1. Sweat soaked down every inch of his toned body, his fine clothing stripped away to nothing but bared panties, cute little lacy things which drank up the waters of his perspiration like a wet rag clinging between his bared legs. Not that he really minded the work, to be honest, it was good honest work, and he could feel the sleek ropey muscles of his arms and chest heave beneath the efforts put in. Beside him the smaller girl also sat, her thin body exposed to the gentle sun and breeze as she leaned slightly against a shovel stabbed into the earth, looking satisfied with her own efforts.
  2.
  3. Sky had to admit that the don-Chavv chick was a tough little monster, digging her way through the laying of the foundation with all the military precision that he could remember. Her claim of once having been a man welling up a certain curiosity of what she would have been like as a he. An idle thought really, as she was there was far too little meat on those bones to his tastes and neither she nor their owner seemed to have any desire to see that change.
  4.
  5. Either way, his task for the time being was done.
  6.
  7. The rest of the stones were being laid by the stronger people, and the silly little teleporter who seemed to have found herself in the good graces of their dwarven director, who seemed to be directing the girl with exacting precision on the fusion of various stones together as the forge began to take shape, utterances about lacking a dwarven sorcerer or the time to cave a proper forge out of a single stone falling from the dwarven blacksmith’s lips, alongside of sighs about ‘making do’ and the occasional note of what she intended to do over on the ‘next one’. A stubborn commitment to making a more complete forge having invested itself in her.
  8.
  9. Sky simply laid back and enjoyed the breeze, shucking off the last remnants of his clothing for the moment that the entirety of his sweat slicked body might cool down, before taking a nice little skinny dip into the languid lake. It was quite the inviting sight.
  10.
  11. “Query, do you have a bit of freetime… Mis… Berlinite asks, having almost forgotten her new designation.” A light, cute voice asked, drawing his attention off to the side from which he was approached, his head quirking in curiosity.
  12.
  13. “Worry. Sister I do not believe we should bother Mr Sky, Kuro unit says that he’s quote, ‘A bit of an unrepentant, weeping asshole’ unquote, Topaz points out vehemently.” A second girl spoke, voice almost exactly the same as the first, its cadence just a bit more pitched upward, suggestive in a way of greater youth.
  14.
  15. “Admonishment. Sister you shouldn’t be so rude, we’ve come to ask a favor after all and our Kuro unit is just a bit… sensitive. One should make one’s own assessments. Berlinite states with sisterly maturity.” The… elder(?) girl patted the other on the head.
  16.
  17. Sky blinked for a moment before realizing exactly who they were.
  18.
  19. The twins who’d been bought at that cloning place earlier.
  20.
  21. “You know girls, I’m pretty sure I’ve made it clear I’m not really interested in encounters with girls you know… unless you decided to bring along a dildo or something. I might be up for a bit of that I guess. Otherwise buzz off, I’m kinda tired.” Sky grunted, resting back so that his body was in full view of them both. Even if he wasn’t up for any action, it was still nice to show off exactly what they couldn’t have.
  22.
  23. “Correction. Sister mine. I believe I owe you and Kuro a small apology. He seems as a much of an ass as previously advertised, Berlinite reconsiders as she observes his nice abs.” The elder decided to rejoinder, her eyes now purposely roaming his body as if in either attraction or contempt. Sky couldn’t quite tell with their monotonic voices and almost expressionless faces.
  24.
  25. “Don’t be a dick solider. That’s an order.” The small girl beside him chided, her blond hair freed as she stretched beside the shovel, getting up in the process. “Look don’t mind him, and just ask for what you want. I’m going to go get a bath.”
  26.
  27. “Roger. Respectfully given.” The twin chimed in together, nodding towards the military Lolita’s casual assessment and taking charge of the situation. It slightly galled the former Soldier a bit, though he simply grimaced, she was after all his commanding officer, in no small thanks to their new mistress’ decision to put her in charge of his conduct.
  28.
  29. “Gah… fine. What is it you two really want?” The ex-soldier asked, not bothering to keep the sour note out of his voice.
  30.
  31. “Request. We wish for you to zap us with lighting, Berlinite states with firm conviction.” The deadpan voice and eyes bored into Sky as their owner made her request. “Out of everyone here it seems that you not only hold a source of electricity, but that you would be the best person for putting it to use. The strongest source of current which we can gain around this area and hopefully control. And with the mistress’ order to continue training our powers as intensely as possible I believe that enlisting your aid would be beneficial to the end result of our training. Berlinite continues self-assuredly.”
  32.
  33. “Worry. Sister, this may be a bit foolhardy. This… man… may not be able to keep steady currents, or might cause his tool to exceed the limits which we’ve able to handle. This is not a safe strategy for enhancing our capabilities. Topaz warns nervously.” The second one seemed to achieve what could almost be called a worried expression if one squinted, her fingers clinging to her sister’s arm.
  34.
  35. Sky merely quirked a brow still not having moved an inch in his naked state. “You know… your sister’s probably right. Just zapping you two sounds like a recipe for disaster, I mean sudden discharges can’t be healthy for you all, and something like a lightning bolt is… well it’s pretty scary stuff even if we have a good healer on hand. And besides… I’m pretty sure you guys have a malus on magic stuff either way right?”
  36.
  37. “Determination. We are resolute to do this. I believe that my sister and I will be able to bend the currents to our wills despite their origins so long as they are truly currents rather than magic masquerading as such, but a Materite stone is condensed magic dedicated towards generating a specific physical or magical phenomenon, rather than pure casting, it is unlikely that such a tool simply causes magical imitations, we even asked Silica to look it up. Berlinite answers with conviction on her side.” The girl replied with her usual passionless voice.
  38.
  39. Sky glanced towards the… younger... girl. “She doesn’t look nearly as sure as you do.”
  40.
  41. “Observation. Topaz is just a bit on the timid side, her lesser talent with our powers is in part a result of that lesser willingness to go out on a limb and take risks with her abilities. I believe that we can make this work however, and even so we can always begin with a test strike to note if we can handle the stone’s output. Berlinite offers casually.” Somehow despite the distinct lack of expression on her face, the ex-soldier couldn’t help the impression of smug superiority radiating off of the girl before him.
  42.
  43. “Well… I suppose if you want to try. But let’s do this a bit closer to the medical personnel...” Sky sighed, rising from the ground and picking up his panties in the process. Not like shooting the breeze with the magical orb a bit wouldn’t be interesting enough while skipping out on heavier work.
  44.
  45. The elder clone thanked him, then without much delay they moved over a more preferable location, one in which several metal objects from the scrap pile had been placed. Some of it was even the usable stuff.
  46.
  47. The first test strike of ‘Bolt’ was thrown towards a sword set up to take the shock, while the two girls stood close, trying to tame and direct the shot to a small measure of success as they ‘caught’ the charge which had entered the sword in the process of it’s being discharged into the ground, grabbing and cycling it about between them to interesting effect. Their own ability naturally generate and control electricity, though limited, allowed them to at the very least direct the forces under their command.
  48.
  49. The next test, would be to take the electrical energy which they themselves gathered and utilize it in building what they termed a ‘cage’ for the charge which flowed between them, tweaking the forces caught between them into what could only be termed as a charged shell of carefully manipulated air, before allowing each strike from the Materite to build up charge for what was essentially a capacitor made of particles aligned in the right manner.
  50.
  51. Berlinite it seemed was the one leading in this, as she continued to encourage her sister to hold the construct steady, each one of them practicing earnestly despite numerous slips and false starts.
  52.
  53. “I get what you’re doing… but it doesn’t really seem like anything particularly useful.” Sky spoke up after the twentieth subsequent strike. “I mean if you could hold on to most of the charge then maybe it’d be useful for an attack or something, maybe a shield if you could actually use it better, but really…
