BACKGROUND OVI : she came from a family consisting of two younger brothers and happily married parents. Akemi moved to Korea when her father landed a well paying job and moved at age 12. It was hard to adapt as there was a language barrier but she managed to learn the basic Korean which pulled her through. Other than moving and switching schools, her family back story is pretty basic.
