1. The contest would be announced on tf2maps.net's main contest section by me with a post introducing the contest and establishing all of the rules and requirements.
2. Because this is a full map and part of the criteria will will be judging is gameplay balance, play testing is critical. TF2 maps I believe can fulfil this purpose quite nicely by having the maps uploaded to the servers and having normal playtest like they do already. (Provided I could get the ability to help start these test when mappers need it and this would be a way I can help pitch in.)
3. Unline other contest we will only have a hard deadline and like others would have a submission only thread where players would submit their maps, via tf2maps.net forums of course.
4. The actual judging of the maps would happen after the deadline is complete and the judgest would be: the community, tf2maps.net staff and parts of our staff.
5. The way I propose the community voices their opinion can be of two ways:
	a. I will host servers once the deadline is complete and have players join and test out the new maps. Players feedback would be recorded via an in-game command and would be a simple 1-5 rating.
	b. TF2maps.net can host the maps and make it like normal beta testing except just have the community vote with a similar system how'd they rank it.
	c. Both platforms can host and we would need to use the same criteria to judge.
6. The staff members who judge will submit their scores individually and I reccomend we either share a discord server for this or have a special section in either discord dedicated to staff only in order to better coordinate the scores.
7. After the final scores have been released players will recieve their prizes.
	a. 1st - $300 USD via Paypal, Screamfortress 1st place medal and a mappers medal?
	b. 2nd - $150 USD via Paypal, Screamfortress 2nd place medal and a mappers medal?
	c. 3rd - $50 USD via Paypal, Screamfortress 3rd place medal and a mappers medal?


The goal of this contest is to really promote the Halloween theme of the game. I'm sure it comes no shoke to you all that the reason we picked the Halloween themed even is because we honestly love this portion of the game. No only is it to grow and share in our favorite time, our hope is that of the maps produced that Valve will hopefully include one in the game. We firemely beleive in the saying "Competition Breeds Innovation". With this in mind, and a fewhundred bucks and a very modest deadline we believe the quality of maps will be of valve quality.
