[09:17] Whether it was luck or destiny that brought their paths to cross on that day was unknown, but Seifer seemed overjoyed at the sight of an old friend - one that he certainly could pick up a thing or two from, in fact.

"Ah..! Alice. How are you? How have you been? It's been.. a long time. And- Sure. Maybe I'm rushing things and all but there's a request I've got for you if you wanna hear me out."

[09:19] She had only just materialized in the street when Seifer popped up, an old if not familiar face. Though Alice..? Still looked the exact same as when they met, for the most part. "It has been a long time, yes." The Teraphim responds, looking around Osrona for a moment.

"Of course I'll hear you out, what is it?"

[09:24] A smile graced the man's lips; his own aging self was a bit shocking in constrast to the eternally young Teraphim's physical statis. A small gesture invited Alice to walk alongside him, heading towards their 'spot' in the park not to far away from where they stood.

"I've long attuned to the world. I've figured out a way to mend the Lifestream, too. And when my connection with the world itself was severed? I went deep into the spirit realm to reconnect with Yggdrasil itself. Or so it felt like it.

And... Despite all of that I've never quite grasped Wayfinding. Since you've attuned yourself to the other realm and are able to cross it at will I figured you'd be the best to wrap up my training."

He gestured widely around him.

"I can already feel it all. The spirits. The tears in space. The pain. The feelings brought along by the world. I've never taken the time to study that whole... Agarthan way of things like Ethric did, but it was never quite my cup of tea."

[09:34] She knew quite a bit of this already, but that polite smile never left her face. Pink orbs shifting to meet his own as he explained his case. "..Ah.. I'm sorry you had to endure such a severance. Though I am glad you seemed to have made a recovery."

"However, I learned both methods of Wayfinding for different reasons. The way that I Wayfind myself is different than how I bring along others. The latter is using the 'Agarthan way', or the runic way. However you want to describe it." Reaching to reveal some of the interlocking runic circles that rest over her heart.

"Though I can teach you, or try to teach you, how I do my method. At least give you the base line."

[09:35] Eyes wandered over the runes presented to him for a moment, lingering before his attention returned towards the Teraphim's countenance. It's with a wide smile he spoke again, adjusting his glasses in the midst of it all.

"That would be lovely. I'm sure I can work at it when I've got a good grasp of it - though I wouldn't mind seeing you more often. You know... To have tea. To talk about life. We're still friends, after all."

[09:41] As short as she had ever been, she peers up towards him. "Well.. Since Tah and I sort of.. fell off, I've found it hard to remain anywhere for long." She adds, sighing softly.

"Either way.. I may pop in for tea or something on occasion."

"Is there a place you would prefer to do this?"

[09:45] A hand reached out to gently pat the woman's shoulder, hoping to grant her some... warmth. Something to hold onto for a while, to know she's appreciated.

"The park should be fine. It's where we became better friends, after all." He said, inviting her along himself.

Thinking back on it a lot could have been different if just a slight change had occured on the day their hands met. His entire life would have been different, even.

It was far, far too late to truly think about the matter, instead leaving Seifer to try and bring the subject back to what it should be.

"Am I going to have to trace runes on my body like you did?"

[09:49] "The park will be fine, yes." A gentle pat of her own upon that reaching hand, she follows him to that familiar park. Even if many years had assed since she last sat within it.

"Well.. I use these runes when I need to bring others with me. I don't need them for myself. Eztli taught me his method of Wayfinding so I could bring others along with me, but.. I altered the runic patterns he used to better channel my heart's spirit energy." Hence the placement over her chest.

"I guess you could more accurately call it my way of Wayfinding, given it's a union of the other two methods." She couldn't count the hours she had spent creating that matrix of runes and glyphs.

"I'm not sure how it would work for you without some alterations, but you could also simply use both methods separately."

[09:59] He took a seat across from her as the explanation was granted. The way she made it sound was something not unlike his own method for healing people where he'd allow the world to flow through them by keeping in touch with them. Something wonderful to be sure. Something he made a mental note to apply to Alice's teachings.

"I may have a workaround of my own. By sharing my connection with the Lifestream and extending it to those near me it may be good enough to pull them along. It works when it comes to mending wounds, so I figure that with a bit of... direction after being connected it shouldn't be too difficult." He muses aloud, giving off a few nods.

"It'll have to be my own brand of Wayfinding as well, leveraged upon my attunement and my ability to share that attunement."

[10:04] "I'm glad you've a workaround, given that my own is only possible the way it is because of my heart." It would be rather awkward if he would've needed one of those to replicate the effect.

"Just be careful, and start small. Either short trips with a couple of people at first, or longer ones alone. Treat it like a muscle." It was something that needed to be built upon with experience.

"Though I've the utmost faith that you'll manage it, just don't overexert yourself too early."

[10:10] Seifer wouldn't dare steal Alice's heart. Both physically and emotionally - no, it was far too late for that. His attention was kept upon her as she gave a few words of advice on the matter, though the meat of the subject had yet to be reached, hadn't it?

"I'll start off easily, then. What's the trick behind it?"

[10:18] "Well, the 'trick' is much more simple at it's base concept than you would probably believe. When I'm just moving myself.." She holds her hand over her heart, slowly drawing forth some of her raw spirit energy. "..I gather this, within myself."

"It doesn't take long, and then I expend this energy to convert myself into raw life essence and slip between the realms and into the lifestream." It was essentially what the normal Wayfinder managed with runes, two different equations to reach the same eventual answer.

"When I reach the destination, I reverse the process. Though as I assume with your own connection, I can manipulate this energy to reform myself as well."

[10:35] The little demonstration was not one he truly had expected. By all means allowing one's self to be reduced to nothing more than raw energy - a spirit with no physical self for a brief moment was not unlike fully immersing one's self into the Lifestream, allowing for any weight carried over from the physical realm to be vanquished.

Terrifying, yet oddly... straightforward. It almost felt like it hinged on taking such a leap, on confidence after having reached a point where one is capable of being in perfect harmony with the flow of the spirit realm.

Seifer himself had the background, the experience, the means. He could feel out the world and let it course through him. It was but a step above that wherein he directs his form through the Lifestream to reach a certain destination.

When his connection expanded and grew on the day his promise to the world was renewed he could feel every spirit, every divine, every bit of energy coursing all around him.

To have a feel for a location was possible. He only needed to work out the kinks and to hold the courage to take that massive step forward.

"So... It is simple. So long as I have the means for it and the courage to flow with the world without any guarantee it'll guide me where I aim. I'll have to better feel things out, I think...."

He already seemed to be figuring out his own method from Alice's guidance.

[10:45] She nods once in confirmation, as he seems to have gained a firm grasp on what was at least the concept. It took her quite some time, but she had also been a child with little experience then.

Surely it would've been easier for both of them at their current age. "Yes, you must always hold conviction. Have faith in the journey before the destination, and your own ability to guide you where you wish to go."

"If anyone can discover how to do it this way, it's you, Seifer." She says with a sincere smile, letting that gathered energy flow back into her heart.

[10:51] While the encouragement was nice the man remained quite focused on the matter, projecting ideas in his mind with the intent of testing some of them far, far sooner than one may expect.

He had the tools. He had the knowledge. And now? He understood how Wayfinding could be so swift. With all mass removed it made a lot more sense; even in the spirit realm they shouldn't be moving this fast after all.

To be connected with the entire world. To get a feel for the places you wish to go to.

Runework would hinge not upon deep studies but instead upon a familiar sensation. If only to keep an area's connection with the Lifestream itself clear.

".. I think I'll be able to handle it. Is there anything else you wanted to tell me?"

[10:57] She quietly allowed him to process the information, watching with a curious expression until he spoke again. "No, there is nothing else." The Teraphim finishes.

"Thank you for sharing the conversation, even if it was simply for a lesson." Slowly she would come to a stand, as things seemed to be resolving themselves.

[10:59] Seifer nodded lightly. A small conversation. A lesson that would open the way for much, much more. The details of how he'd perform it all were already figured, and with his experience? It could hardly be difficult to put in action.

"You should... swing around for tea. To meet the kids. I'm sure you'd enjoy their presence. Just becase you've lost someone you loved it doesn't mean you should give up on love, Alice."

A smile is cast her way despite it all.
