Personality
Xanadu is a shy individual who rarely smiles and has a no-nonsense demeanor. Her face would usually resemble closer to a scowl. She is a reserve individual who tends to only open up to those she is close to. Occasionally, she is sarcastic and has some what of a dark sense of humor. Although seemingly distant to her peers, she cares about her allies. While she dislikes fighting, she is quick to threatening when provoked due to the influence of her Dothral background and strong affinity of destructive magicks. She also sometimes has a habit of reckless in more dire situations, despite her usual conservativeness.

History
Contrary to popular belief, Xanadu was not born a Dotharl. She was kidnapped at a very young age as her father was slayed. Since then, she was raised like any other Dotharl child and at one point was briefly Sadu’s apprentice. Unlike most members of the Dotharl though, Xanadu had no interest in fighting. Despite her thaumaturge capabilities, Xanadu was somewhat of a pacifist, believing that the Dotharl way of life was just senseless violence. Because of this, she was ridiculed by her peers, even going as far as referred to her as a coward. While the abusiveness was usually minor, Xanadu had to endeavor harsh training from her superiors. It wasn’t until the massacre with the Hotgo tribe when Xanadu took her first life that was not a beast’s. To this day, this would haunt her, not because she killed someone, but in her own words, she felt “alive” doing it. Horrified that she may become the people she despised, Xanadu left the Dotharl first chance she got as well as the steppes entirely and became an adventurer.
 For the longest time, Xanadu did not know of her true birth tribe but over time grew to question her true birth. Realizing that finding it out may be next to impossible, she does not actively peruse the answer, seeking instead to find her true purpose in life.

Abilities
As stated, Xanadu has an affinity with offensive magicks, namely, fire, ice and lighting most notably and minor aspects of earth, wind and water as well. Xanadu is also capable of light support and defensive magicks as well, but her healing affinity is weak. Her most powerful magicks are also taxing on her body as well, ranging from aether sickness to even risk of death. Because of this, they are rarely used.
