  1. 1. Meet with an engineer and an engineering manager. Talk about why the deal is not going through even though so much of the team is excited about it. Company politics-- a key manager is stalling it for reasons unknown. Talk about how to move forward despite that, if even possible. I equip them with some selling points that'll maybe convince him.
  2.
  3. 2. Meet with some engineering managers. Talk about why the deal has been stalling in bureaucracy. Maybe the deal will move faster if we move to another department? Maybe we can switch terms around? I assure them we'd still love to work with them and I'm happy to brainstorm, and we find a solution we think will make it move faster.
  4.
  5. 3. Existing customer, meet with founders and an engineer. Talk about their growth and how the product could be used elsewhere in the company.
  6.
  7. 4. Meet with a business contact. Parent company situation. Review child companies that are interested and ask what each one needs to move forward. Brainstorm if maybe it makes sense to do individual deals with each child company, brainstorm how to structure the deal, talk about who else needs to get onboard.
  8.
  9. 5. Meet with founder. He really wants to support us, we overview product and see how it could best fit into his work.
  10.
  11. 6. Meet with engineering manager who just left a company. Talk about how business has been going. He asks why we haven't signed a deal yet with his ex-company and we brainstorm ways to make that happen.

  13. 7. Meet with product manager. She asks questions about our product and thinks it could make a lot of sense for her team. She asks how to get started, we talk about different options.
