- Hey guys, how’s it goin?
- There's actually not a lot happening right now. I'm just coming off of a NPC session where my first two runs of the day were on WR pace through 80% of the run and I'm still a little miffed about it. I'll get back to that game on Friday. For now, I'm focusing most of my efforts on getting back into the swing of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom as I haven't seriously played it in five years. Even without fully knowing my route and forgetting some of the mechanics, I can still beat the game in less than two and a half hours every time. That's reassuring. I want to do better, though. I will be examining the current Yugi record run more closely this week and seeing what I can do with the new route on Wednesday. I imagine that it will be a lot more aggressive with its Equips and take more risks in general. It's about time I took more chances with the run.
- In real life news, I should also mention how much fun I had watching the entire first season of BOFURI last week. Cute girls play an MMORPG and do cute things to get severely overpowered in said MMO. And there's no BS excuse to trap them in said MMO. And the action scenes are fluid. And the music is great. What's not to like? I've found myself to be really picky with anime consumption due to time investment so I tend to only watch stuff that tells interesting stories as opposed to those that sound like other stories. Ishuzoku Reviewers and BOFURI had premises that interested me this past season. Not much else in the past 10 years has caught my eye so I won't watch just anything.
