- In Kabbalist ideology we understand that before there was anything, there was nothingness... Within that nothingness, a portion of it was retracted inwards in order to leave space for something... This something was the Big Bang... There could easily have been more than one. We are but one of the frequency universes in existence. smile emoticon
- Ozkar Modic
- it's a good approach, and another metaphor for gnosis, but it misses the point. Why? Why was there nothingness? Does nothingness occupy physical space? Or was it only nothingness in a metaphorical sense? Thinking in terms of higher done signs, there's clearly plenty of different possibilities. The 3rd dimension contains every point possible in the dimensions under it. The 4th (time) contains every possible configuration of the dimensions beneath it. And so on and so forth. So we get to the 8th dimension and by then this contains every possibility of every timeline of every universe that ever could have existed.
- Why is the infinite necessarily intangible and ineffable? Why anything?
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- That question has already been answered and you are proof of that smile emoticon
- Nathaniel Putney
- ^ Pretty much that, thanks Jimmie.

- The uni(multi)verse, is continually self actualizing... It is the ancient of ancients but the newborn for tomorrow. smile emoticon
- Ozkar Modic
- It may have been answered, but I am not satisfied with the answer I have, and i am striving to put it into terms that I can comprehend.
- Nathaniel Putney
- Ever consider that maybe that's why you're unsatisfied? Heh just a brain teaser of course grin emoticon
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- That realm is not for us... I can guarantee you'll find no love or solace their. This is our kingdom brother.
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- Trust me.
- Ozkar Modic
- It may not be for you, but speak for yourself. Everyone has their own path. Even if the path is one of madness and isolation and self hatred... The only thing that isn't for me is whatever I have no interest in.
- Ozkar Modic
- If it isn't for me, then I'll discover that of my own volition chasing hopeless dreams.
- Ozkar Modic
- Nathaniel Putney it's true, my dissatisfaction does arise from my method of perceiving the situation. My dissatisfaction exists because I am creating it, but is that not true of all dissatisfaction? When we are not happy with how we perceive something,...See More

- You were already there and you descended to this earthly realm... Do you know get it yet? You made this choice prior to your own knowledge.
- Ozkar Modic
- I am dissatisfied because my expectations and standards for understanding are far too high, and I'm aware of this, but keeping them that way is what led me to this day, to this awareness that I do have. Keeping them that way is the way I learned that the only thing I know, is that I do not know.
- Nathaniel Putney
- All I know is that Ozkar, if you seek, you will find. And it sounds like you're seeking sincerely. I have no doubt you will find what you are looking for smile emoticon

- Ahh... The human... Such a funny creature.
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- You know that if you breathe you live... You know you need water and sunlight... You just take these for granted.
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- So... There is gnosis.
- Ozkar Modic
- yes, but I don't know why. Nor will I ever give up the quest to understand why. I know basic truths, but even in knowing those, there is still far more that I will not know than I ever will.
- Ozkar Modic
- I wouldn't call it taking them for granted though... But to each their own. You've formed your perceptions and opinions already, and i respect that. I just think you misunderstand what I'm truly trying to say here.
- Ozkar Modic
- 100% is just 1% of the next 100%
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- You are admitting that it's larger than you, are you not? This ideal that you know nothing ... Is seemingly stemmed from some paradoxal knowledge you have. I'm just trying to see where you consider knowing and unknowing to be...
- Jimmie Lee Phillips
- It's a cute mode of thinking to think nothing has a basis.. When fractional mathematics show otherwise...
- Ozkar Modic
- everything has a basis. at least, everything that has a conceptual representation within either linguistic structures, or in a more abstract, mental sense, as represented by a series of synaptic pathways.
- Ozkar Modic
- i don't claim that i know nothing. i claim that the only thing i know (for certain <- this part is implied, i assumed other people go that my bad) is that i know nothing. the only thing i know is hat no matter how much i know, there will always be more that i don't know
- Ozkar Modic
- knowledge is merely just a pattern though. and unknowing would, logically, be the opposite of that pattern. the absence of a configuration that would produce the cognizance of an idea or concept
- Ozkar Modic
- at that, i'm discussing a metaphorical/allegorical sense of nothing, not one rooted in arithmetic or mathematics or anything like that. clearly, yes, in maths and physical laws, nothing is the absence of something. but, even looking at it that way, nothing does have a basis in that it is the absence of something.
- Ozkar Modic
- one could not comprehend nothingness without having something to compare it to
- Ozkar Modic
- this seems to be the dualistic nature of perception and the like, the whole yin-yang concept, but i'm not interested in such black and white perceptions; i'm interested in what lies between the two, and what lies before and beyond. there is always something more. there is always the strive to understand.
- Ozkar Modic
- but at this point, im just splitting hairs and repeating myself. there is nothing more i can contribute to this conversation, because if i haven't made my case clear, if i haven't made my concepts and desires clear by now... then i never will. at least i know what i mean. language is far too strict and rigid to express the concepts that i'm trying to verbalize. i could probably express them more elegantly if i could speak lojban, as we all should know by now that our thoughts and perceptual processes are framed within the context of how we describe and interpret the world.
