  16. I'm finding it entertaining, that somebody who had a reputation for going around and using his mom to sue people, is now getting sued by the SEC:

  22. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is suing Breitling Energy Corporation of Dallas, Texas, and its CEO, "Frack Master" Chris Faulkner, for fraudulently spending $80 million dollars of investors' money on fancy dining, luxury cars, strippers, sex workers, and all the other fixins of a jet-setting sociopath's lifestyle.
  23. Faulkner, 39, faced a spate of lawsuits in the early 2000s in connection with his previous web hosting business .

  30. Wasn't aware of this at all... Thanks for the links and information...
  31.
  32. Curious.
  33.
  34. I remember C.I.Host from back in the early 2000's, not a good memory.
  35.
  36. CI Host used to have a lot of publicity on WHT back in the day.
  37.
  38. CI Host used to have a lot of publicity on WHT back in the day.
  39. I remember somebody had dug up all the active lawsuits for/against ci host back in the day, it was something near 100. Many were against former employee's, but the big one at the time was Microsoft if memory serves. Something about ci host renting windows servers out without acceptable licensing or something to that effect.
  40.
  41. Anybody still have that link? heh

  51. Wow, blast from the past! Some things never change eh?
  52. Looks that way... Maybe this time he'll get what's coming to him...
  53.
  54. I remember one particular incident with CI Host. I had a friend had bought his domain and hosting with them, early 2000. One day his website disappeared so he called them. They told him there seemed to be a problem with his domain and they were trying to resolve the problem.
  55.
  56. My wife found out their domains were being purchased with Netsol so he called them. Netsol was very nice to him and told him his domain had dropped because of non payment from CI Host and they doubted he would get it back through CI Host since they owed Netsol several $1000.
  57.
  58. So he calls CI Host back and they told him his domain was ok and his site would be backup soon. This turned out to be nothing but b/s so he called Netsol back and they told him the host had not been in touch with them and he would probably have to wait until his domain was relisted, which he did and was fortunate enough to get his domain back.
  59.
  60. Back in the early 2000's you could generally snag a domain after it dropped... Not something I'd bet on these days.

  82. The lawsuits didn't end when he left hosting and became "The Frackmaster" (in fact they might have increased in frequency). The last one I read about was back in December when he sued a blog writer: http://www.texassharon.com/2015/12/2...nergy-sued-me/

  97. Today. a federal judge has dismissed the pending lawsuit by C.I. Host and Chris Faulkner against Everyone Internet related to allegedly derogatory information posted by WHT users about their company on the WHT website.
  98.
  99. Further, the judge ordered C.I. Host to pay costs in the suit.

  181. If I'm not mistaken, the fine doesn't include reparations for investors: it's in addition. The legal system down here has no objection to justice, let it take it's course.

  202. Shame he didn't get more really. Think of how many average lifetimes of money he squandered, even if it's distributed, he's still getting a slap on the wrist in any reasonable comparison (especially when you consider how much of that he'll be able to parole/good behavior/early release/whatnot).
