  2. When you catch HSW, 4 lines of 8 bytes and a lone 01 byte are written. The first line is actually a representation of how long the game has been on from power on or reset. It is of the form 56781234, where when 1 byte cycles through all 256 options, the next one goes up 1. 1,2,3 in this representation may as well be random, since the game runs at 20 fps, and they cycle through faster than that. This makes 4 the easiest one to manipulate, as it increases by 1 every 21 frames. Meaning, though it would take months or years, you can write any value to any of those 8 positions on the first line. Since it was previously thought that the first line was in the form -000----, this allows for 256^3 more possibilities for values that can be written.

  5. Catching HSW in a real bottle, then in a duped bottle has certain effects, as I illustrated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBebJ2b66q4
  6. However, there are more possibilities if you use the bottles on the mask screen. They will instantly cool specific real bottles, here is a chart of which mask cools which real bottle:

  14. On top of this, the top row of mask bottles will set the cool timer on the real bottle in the corresponding column to be the time in frames of the first line written. Meaning, the longer you leave the game on, the longer you can set the cool timer to be.
