Risk of Rain 1: How to Into Mods

HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD LOADER
1)Download the modloader from the top left of the page here: https://rainfusion.ml/
2)Extract to your ...\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain folder
3)Launch it

HOW DO I INSTALL MODS?
1a)Download your mod from https://rainfusion.ml/ through your browser and extract it to ...\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain\ModLoader\mods
OR: 1b)Download the selected mod through the in-launcher mod browser under the Rainfusion tab by clicking on the selected mod and clicking on "DOWNLOAD VERSION x.x.x" for that mod
2)After downloading, it will appear in the Manage tab under the Disabled section. Click on the mod and press the Enable button.
3)Launch the game through the launcher and you're good to go.

WHY USE THE MOD LOADER?
1)Vanilla game with mod loader has a built-in player list by holding tab; includes item counter and clover counter. Other QOL changes include overloading wurm indicator being blue, elite gups being colored properly, loader and chef getting character select animations, etc.
2)Uncapped max player count
3)Stable (probably)
4)Fixes shitty bugs for the most part, but you can re-enable fun bugs (origin imp party, etc.)
5)Pirated versions of the game work with modloader and can play with legitimate owners:

6)Can copy/paste IPs and ports as well as copy/paste in chat

HOW DO I TURN ON FUN BUGS?
Enable certain Profile Flags by going to Manage>Additional Profile Options and adding the respective flag (i.e. origin_glitch for imp parties). Fun bug flag list here:

I CAN'T JOIN AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
1)Verify you and host have the same mods
2)Game is probably full or currently going
3)Certain mods might disable multiplayer due to incompatibility
4)Hopoo doesn't know how to code properly
5)ModLoader devs don't know how to code properly

I KEEP CRASHING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
1)If you haven't already, allow RoRML.exe (not RoRML_Launcher.exe) through firewall. Not doing this has been known to cause individual disconnects/crashes.
2)Not having the same flags as host has been known to cause crashes as well. Double check with host to make sure you have all the proper profile flags.

ADDITIONAL INFO REGARDING MODLOADER
ML is a labor of love by Saturnyoshi. Without it, Starstorm would not be possible. If he joins the game (either as "s@rn" or Saturnyoshi) be sure to tell him about any bugs you've encountered to better the future of Risk of Rain mods, and stability because FUCK GML errors and FUCK white screens. CRASHES FUCKING NEVER.
