Rogue Class Leader Application

As a person, I am very logically attuned and dedicated in what I do. Hopefully, I will be one of the first players on the server to reach level 60; at least, I will be one of the first rogues to reach level 60. Because I am currently a student, my flexible schedule affords me a lot of time (which I will be, of course, spending on the initial grind).

Although I did not play original classic-wow, I have been playing rogue on vanilla private servers for a couple of years now. I am also the current manager for the Rogue Classic-WoW Discord (though I will be resigning that role soon due to lack of time), a server which has over 1400 members, which focusses extensively on rogue theorycrafting, guides, etc--and have spoken to many great Rogue players throughout my time there.

I am also a programmer and understand LUA--the programming language that WoW uses for its addon development. Thus, I can develop custom addons for our guild needs, if necessary. However, in vanilla this is not as important as other expansions. I can help in the development of a website if needed. Further, I enjoy organising various things (in spreadsheets and what not), and so can help with general guild management/player vetting, recruitment, etc.

I have also helped the development of various private servers, most notably Burning-Crusade/Felmyst. This experience (along with my programming expertise) gives me the edge over any other regular player: I know how the game works on a fundamental level (and how to manipulate it). Again, this is not strictly useful for vanilla as we know it, but it could be particularly handy in the future--especially if Blizzard change some features here and there.

I also possess a diploma that taught me resolution management (which, unbeknownst to most, is very important in a large guild). This, although not directly related to gameplay as such, will allow me to act in a sort of 'human resources' capacity if necessary.

As to why I am interested in the rogue class leader position, I enjoy leadership as a whole. And because I possess a wealth of theoretical knowledge of the rogue class (how different things or concepts interact, knowledge on various helpful macros, etc.), I am well-suited for such a role.

Gameplay wise, I have cleared content up til, and including, AQ40. Therefore, my lack of direct experience in Naxx is my greatest shortcoming in this application. However, I am more than confident that I can overcome that inexperience.
