｢Diamond Life｣

Stand Ability: ｢Make A Living｣ — ｢Diamond Life｣ and Shalin may create a pale, golden powder from their bodies (Shalin prefers using their hands for ease of precision). This powder may coalesce into threads for ease of visibility or application, but the result remains the same.

Whenever this powder touches anything, living or otherwise, other than terrain, it begins to wrap the target in thread, either triggering automatically or at Shalin's will. The speed of this process depends on the amount of dust/thread the target has touched, but with a sufficient amount, the process of ensnaring something within a membrane is almost instantaneous.

｢Hang On To Your Love｣ — Shalin may steal the speed of targets partially or fully ensnared (i.e., within a ｢Thimbles｣, infra). Shalin may then imbue that speed into whatever next triggers ｢Make A Living｣'s thread/dust, reorienting the direction of that speed vector.

Anything fully ensnared is considered “frozen in time”. Any action, event, or happening is stopped in its tracks, separated from its original context and preventing any potential consequences from occurring. Once ensnared, the target can then be compressed into a Stand construct about the size of a baseball, henceforth referred to as ｢Thimble｣. Anything within a ｢Thimble｣ is unharmed by the ensnared process.

Shalin may then use ｢Thimbles｣ in one of three ways, including ｢Hang On To Your Love｣ mentioned above:

｢First Affair｣ — If a ｢Thimble｣ is broken, the ensnared target is released and its action is resumed, with the original forces and physics it may have been experiencing or exerting. If the speed of a ｢Thimble｣’s contents has been stolen, the action is canceled, causing the contents to simply fall from the broken ｢Thimble｣.

｢Your Love is King｣ — Shalin may break 10 ｢Thimbles｣ to give herself a burst of speed so great some may refer to it as a "one second time stop". In actuality, this ability is more limited than it may seem, only sufficient to enable Shalin to reposition and reset, better for disengaging than for sneak attacking.

Power: D — While ｢Diamond Life｣'s claws are concerningly sharp, its physical strength isn't that much greater than the average human's. It relies on clever use of ｢First Affair｣ and ｢Hang On To Your Love｣ to deal greater physical damage, and thus relies on the environment.

Speed: C — ｢Diamond Life｣ can produce a constant stream of dust, which can be coalesced into a 3mm thick thread, and the ensnaring speed is dependent on the proportion of the target's surface area covered by dust/thread. It is possible for a person to be ensnared, but unless they managed to find themselves inundated by ｢Make A Living｣, such an event should be readily avoidable given reasonable care.

Durability: D — ｢Diamond Life｣ is somewhat fragile, and ｢Thimbles｣ will break if handled with notable force.

Range: C — ｢Diamond Life｣ has a 20m range from Shalin. ｢Make A Living｣ constructs and ｢Thimbles｣ persist out of range, but will operate automatically.

Precision: A — ｢Diamond Life｣ has incredible precision in its kinesthetic senses, its sensory perception, its Stand abilities, and its traps and constructs weaving. Its claws are also very sharp.

Fighting Style: Shalin has remained behind the curtain not for lack of combat ability, but as a sign of her experience. Although ｢Diamond Life｣ is shorter range than one may expect, Shalin takes utmost care to weave as many barriers and traps between her opponents and herself, ensnaring them while staying out of their reach and looking to run ｢Diamond Life｣'s claws past their throat. Deceive then decapitate.
