  7. It's that time again. It's my birthday! Last year went super well. Way better than I could have expected. So we're doing it again! This time we're going (almost) full GTA. We'll be starting a day before my birthday then ending on Saturday which will be some variation of Chaos Mod. I also very hastily made a shitty trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrDpvrvm3c4
  8. I will be doing marathon commentary throughout while Emma will be donation reading and giving goal updates.

  14. tl;dr Lots of GTA, mostly GTA:SA, 12 hour streams

  16. Each day will run for roughly 12 hours; from 10AM to 10PM UK time. Then during the night from 10PM to 10AM UK time the previous 12 hours will be rerun so you should be able to watch it all (and to give me time to sleep).
  17. A lot of the runs I haven't done in ages (coz I've only been doing SA for over a year) so they're probably going to be awful trainwreck runs, but hopefully in a fun way.

  25. I feel bad for saying it but: All donations will be going to me, and (probably read below) not a charity like other speedrun marathons. While I would love to support a charity (Like Charity: Water or Doctors Without Borders) I also need an income.
  26. I spend a fair amount of on my time and money each year supporting ESA as a senior volunteer, and I think it's probably economically and logically best if I keep my charity efforts strictly to that and keep my own personal stream as my own personal work and income.

Also like I said in the previous year's pastebin, I feel a once a year sellout fest is better for my kind of content (along with Twitch Bounties) and keep my normal streams the way they are as I feel like a major draw to my stream is it's *UN*professional-ness. It's just me, chilling, doing what I want when I want, with no sponsor logos or "PLZ SUBSCRIBEZZ" or anything like that. If I did choose to finally partner with some companies or beg for subscribers then I'm not sure what impact that would have on me or my current style of streaming.

  30. I'm trying my best to provide good #CONTENT for your money. I'll be streaming 8-12 hours a day for a week, I've put a ton of work into the schedule, layouts, stream tech etc. The donation goals are all the change the last, big run of the marathon into various forms of Chaos and Rainbowiser (other than the Emma one), and I've managed to convince Emma (Kitteamuz) to read every single donation we receive as we receive them (unless the messages are bad ofc).

  32. However with all that said, I will say that my financial situation is nowhere near as bad as it was last year. If I didn't get the near £3000 I did last time I'm not sure what I would've done, however this year (without starting a sob story etc etc) I'm *less* behind on my debt/bills and stuff, so if I get given a crazy amount of money (like more than last year) then I will give the excess to a charity. I'm not chasing constant year to year growth on this, if anything I expect LESS this year.

  34. This year we have the following donation goals:

  36. Chaos Mod = £250
  37. Chat Voted Chaos Mod = £750
  38. Chaos Mod + Rainbowiser = £1250
  39. Chat Voted Chaos Mod + Rainbowiser = £2000
  40. Emma Does Chaos Mod = £3000

  42. (Chaos Mod = Random effects, Chat Voted Chaos Mod = Chat can choose between 3 random effects)

  44. So the first goal will start at £250, once this is reached, it will be increased to £750 (so £500 more). If this is reached, it will be increased to the next, and so on. Whatever goal is reached at the end of the stream on Friday will be what category I will do on Saturday. However there is also the extra Emma does Chaos Mod goal. We nearly reached it last year and people have been asking for it since. If we reach £3000 by the very end of the event then at some point in the future (probably for Emma's birthday in April, like she did with JDQ:ELSA) Emma will attempt her very own Chaos run.
