  1. I will be referring damage as "fear" in this pastebin. (Chip damage is 0.25 fear, regular basic hit damage is 0.5 fear, photographer hit damage is 0.75 fear, terror shock damage is 1 fear.)
  2.
  3. When Photographer takes a picture, he creates a photo world that will "copy" the stats of the real world. This includes Cipher progress, Gate opening progress, Fear, and where every character is located. HEALING PROGRESS IS NOT RECORDED AND WILL NOT BE AFFECTED BY PHOTO WORLD.
  4.
  5. When the photo world ends, the stats of the real world will depend on what the stats of the photo world was before it collapses. The stats will become the average of the photo world and the real world (exceptions will be listed and marked below).
  6.
  7. - If the real world has 80% cipher progress and the photo world has 20% cipher progress at time of collapse, the cipher now has 50% progress (average of 20 and 80). This logic also applies to gate opening progress.
  8.
  9. - If you finish the cipher before the photo world collapses, the cipher will stay finished and will not be affected by the photo world. This logic also applies to opened gates.
  10.
  11. - If your fear in the real world is 0 and your fear in the photo world is 0.5 at the time of collapse, your fear will become 0.25 (average of 0.5 and 0).
  12.
  13. - EXCEPTION: If your fear in the real world is greater than your fear in the photo world by the time of collapse, your fear will NOT be changed. Example: Your fear is 0.75 and your fear in the photo world is 0.25. When the photo world collapses, your fear will still be 0.75.
  14.
  15. - EXCEPTION: If a survivor's mirror world counterpart is chaired, it does not matter how much fear the real world survivor has. The survivor will always be DOWNED once the mirror world collapses. This makes it crucial for the real world survivor to hide when they see that their mirror image is chaired OR for a real world survivor to rescue the mirror world survivor.
  16.
  17.
  18. Note that unless you have doctor, barmaid, psychologist, or meteorologist on your team, you will not be able to heal chip damage. A good method to counter this is to heal when mirror world is up to make sure the player will have fear less than 0.25 OR the player will be healable after the photo world collapses.
  19.
  20. - Example 1: Both real world and photo world have 0.75 fear. What survivors should do is heal the real world survivor once while mirror world is up. This will reduce real world fear to 0.25. After the mirror world collapses, the survivor's fear is now 0.5 (average of 0.25 and 0.75). You can now heal the survivor once to reduce their fear to 0.
  21.
  22. - Example 2: Real world survivor has 0.5 fear and mirror world survivor is downed (1 fear). In this scenario, you can either heal the real world survivor once or the mirror world survivor once. After the mirror world collapses, this survivor will have 0.5 fear (average of 0 and 1 if you heal real world, average of 0.5 and 0.5 if you heal mirror world). You can now heal the survivor once to reduce their fear to 0.
  23.
  24. - Example 3: Real world survivor is healthy (0 fear) and mirror world survivor has 0.75 fear. You can heal the mirror world survivor once to reduce mirror world survivor to 0.25 fear. Once the mirror world collapses, this survivor will now have 0.125 fear (average of 0 and 0.25). Photographer's hits do 0.75 fear, so the survivor will still need 2 hits to go down.
  25.
  26. - Example of what NOT to do: Both real world and mirror world have 0.5 fear. Please for the love of god. DO NOT HEAL THE REAL WORLD SURVIVOR. If you heal the real world survivor, the survivor will have 0.25 (average of 0 and 0.5) fear after the mirror world ends. Since Photographer's hits do 0.75 fear, the survivor will only need 1 hit to get downed. The survivor can also be downed in 1 hit if they have 0.5 fear. You are not helping. Healing makes zero difference. You could've spent that 15 seconds healing on some precious decoding progress.
