Some gotta pay

>“Hold up there.” Flip stopped the kid before he could walk out. He barely noticed with his headphones on but paid attention when the security door slammed in his face.
>“Whats the problem?”
> “Empty your pockets.” Flipp tapped the table.
> “Seriously? Were seriously doing this.”
> “Just the empty the pockets.” doing as he was told, he emptied every single pocket.
> Flip looked at each of the items on the counter. Some gum, a hollow phone, keys, a tiny switch-army tool, and a wallet.
> Almost on instinct Flip searched the wallet.
> “What you think I stuck a snickers in there?”
> No snickers, but there was some cash, a school ID, a Canadian passport, and State ID.
> “So your names Gordon?”
> “Wow, you can read. Good for you old man.”
> “Names Flip ya little punk. And I know you stole something.”
> “Is this a random check, or do you just not like my TONE?”
> “Now don't start playing the race card on me kid, I don't trust anybody. Skin, Belief, or wherever they like to stick it.” Flip gave back some of the stuff, but kept the State ID and the Gum. “So until you pay me back or give it back, I’m keeping this buddy here with me.”
> Gordon gave a good stink eye to Flip, but this old fuck was used to that. So he got curious.
> “What did I steal exactly? You got footage?”
> “Are you kidding me, these stupid cameras pick up squat anymore, but I saw ya stuffing your pockets.”
> “What? C’mon that's amateur shit, you gotta be an idiot to pocket anything you steal.”
> “Whatchu’ getting at there dreads?”
> “I mean if your gonna steal a candy bar or something like that you gotta hide it up your sleeve.” Gordon picked up a random Bar on the counter and showed him, he picked up the bar and slid it up his sleeve. Then pulled it back out. “See, you pocket it, its a dead giveaway”
> “Huh, that's pretty slick, kid.”
> “Thanks.”
> “Now I got proof that you stole something!”
> “Oh come on!”
> “So you gonna pay up or am I calling the cops?”
> “I thought you said Pay or Give it back.”
> “Well now I know your a repeat offender. But I’ll let it slide this time if you cough up the dough for it.” Another guy who was hanging out at the back of the store came up the counter with some stuff.
> “Hey, you mind if you let me out at least. I got places to be.”
> “Sure thing bud, just let me ring you up first.”
> “Your really not gonna let up over a candy bar?”
> “No such luck there ya little Knuck. Flip always gets paid one way or another.” The guy next to gordon was looking shaky, he knew why, but he wondered if Flip did?
> “Alright, I give” Gordon walked around the counter to meet Flip face to face. “You win old dude, I’ll give you back what I stole.”
> “Wow, you actual stole something, didn’t figure you to be that gullible. But I’ll let you go if you give it back and pay me too.”
> “Why would I have to pay for it? Your getting it back.”
> “We’ll call it a valuable lesson.” Gordon didn’t argue, he just looked around in his pockets and pulled out the cash first.
> “Since I’m here, I should probably give you heads up.”
> “On what?” Flip making sure the three dollars were real.
> “The fact your being robbed?”
> “The heck you on about, I already caught you.”
> “I wasn’t talking about me.” Flip felt a cold metal on the side of his head. He looked slowly to the guy over the counter.
> “Everything in the register. Now.”
> Flip considered using Gordon as a human shield but age had made it difficult to throw children anymore.
> "Hey." Flip looked back to the kid. "As long I'm here and you're dealing with this. Can I get my ID back?" Flipped glarred at the kid.
> "You little asshole! You planned this!"
> "What? No. I dont even know this guy, I mean I saw the gun on the dude earlier and I was TRYING to leave before he robbed you, but you had to try and cheat me out of my money."
> "I said open the register!"
> "Calm down man, he's gonna get it I just want my ID back."
> "Alright, Alright, Here take you stupid ID." He tried whispering the next part. "And get the cops."
> "The cops? Fuck no, I aint getting shot over your greedy ass. I will however." Gordon grabbed a candy bar off the counter. "Get what I payed for." He said taking a bite out of it right in front of Flip. "You can keep the gum too."
> "Why you little-"
> "Give the money now!" The guy screamed again at flip, cocking the pistol.
> "By the way dude, His silent alarm is broken, he doesn't have a gun, and there's a nice big safe back here."
> Both of them were a little shocked by the kid. But the robber actually smiled at him.
> "Thanks kid." Gordon flipped a switched that opened the front. Letting himself out.
> "No prob, you have yourself a nice robbery. Dont be afraid to pistol whip him a little bit."
> "YOU ARE BANNED FOR LIFE!" Gordon stopped at the door for a second.
> "I can live with that."
