Point was originally a human. He and his partner were highly interested in documenting and cataloging beings with powers beyond human limitations - both to grasp the origin of creation and to utilize their knowledge to advance humanity. After prodding too far into an unknown realm, Point is touched by an entity known as Worm. He becomes a worldly vessel, and his body starts to change while he's left unconscious. Point's partner recognizes that unspeakable horrors are beginning to pour from his face and builds a sealed helmet made from the bones of an old God. After adding an eye sigil for sight and added protection, he dies due to direct exposure to Worm's contents. Point now wanders seeking to reverse the process
