It is warm and quite pleasant. The surface of a small pond here sparkles serenely with many shifting colours. Kaiel floats here amidst an etheric storm of shifting realities and rainbow-traced quiddities. He wields a snowy opal shofa of silver moonflowers in his left hand and a twin-bladed shofa of twilight hues in his right.

In a gravelly voice, Spirit-Touched Pysynne says, "Not at all."

Speaking to Daiua and Lanni, Kaiel says, "I'm not sure I've met either of you, actually! I am Kaiel. I've been asleep for a bit over a century."

Daiua Greenthorn says, "Ah got to meet 'im for a coupla 'ours. Ah think Ah've puzzled out wha 'e wants now, sorta."

Daiua Greenthorn says, "'e speaks real funny-like."

Lanni Ahonen tilts his head and looks at Kaiel and Pysynne curiously. "Leaf's friends?" he asks, gesturing with a long, slender pointing finger.

Wriggling out from Daiua's grip, Lanni Ahonen says to you, "Cookie???"

The pounding of hooves against the ground echoes as Feyr enters from the northeast, flanked by a pair of ethereal stags.

Brightly, holding onto a bountiful platter of edible wildflowers, you say to Feyr, "Hello, Vates!"

Feyr inclines his head politely to those around him.

Feyr leaves to the northeast, flanked by two ethereal stags that cry out with a triumphant bellow.

Kaiel sways back and forth.

Lanni Ahonen proceeds to pull out a large muku ball from his tunic, waving it before your faces. "Taimi say... Maylea... muku... ruusu. Flower. Yes." He looks to Daiua for help, holding the ball in front of him with both hands.

Pysynne raises an eyebrow questioningly.

Kaiel tilts his head curiously at Lanni Ahonen.

You have emoted: A look of mischief briefly flashes across Lief's face as she glances quickly over at Kaiel. But her attention is mostly for Lanni Ahonen, following along with a curious expression on her face.

You tell Kaiel, "Do you know about the kaelye?"

Leaning in slightly, Daiua Greenthorn says to Pysynne, "Ah THINK... 'e's sayin' 'e wants th'Lady t'look at th'muku, an' sommat 'bout flowers."

In a gravelly voice, Spirit-Touched Pysynne says, "I am so glad someone understood him! I was really worried he had met Lilybell."

You tell Kaiel, "Had our Lady revealed Her book during your time with us? Where She talks of Her sister-mate Kaenalye?"
Kaiel tells you, "I don't believe so."

Kaiel snickers softly to himself.

You tell Kaiel, "She'd thought Her long dead, long gone...when in truth, Her sister-mate had been in a deep, deep sleep, and sharded only very recently into the kaelye."

You tell Kaiel, "I don't think they've had a chance to meet yet, our Lady and the kaelye people."

Kaiel tells you, "Oh! I take it Lanni is one of these new shards? He does have an odd look about him."

Lanni Ahonen slinks behind Daiua Greenthorn to hide, looking out from behind the elfen with large, curious eyes. "No tuntea?" he asks.

You tell Kaiel, "Exactly!"

Comprehension flashes across Kaiel's face.

Daiua Greenthorn says to Lanni Ahonen, "Dun worra, Lanni. Ah'll teach ya common. Ye'll speak as well as me soon! Righ'?"

Kaiel's eyes sparkle with amusement.

You have emoted: Lief tilts her antlered head. She furrows her brow, and tries out carefully, her pronunciation terrible, "Lanni - we will...auttakaa." She gestures at the Mayflowers gathered.

Lanni Ahonen slinks out from the other side of Daiua Greenthorn to crouch down at your feet. "Yes yes! Auttakaa!" He looks up with flashing green eyes. "Talk! Maylea!"

Lanni Ahonen lopes from you to Pysynne, to Kaiel. "Talk? Maylea? Have muku ruusu? Yes?"

You have emoted: Lief claps her hands together, her wings an excited hum. Stilling them, clasping them together, she turns toward Kaiel and Pysynne. "We should pray to Her - would either of you like to lead the prayer?"

Kaiel says, "Maybe next time."

Kaiel peers about himself unscrupulously.

Daiua Greenthorn puts her hands on her hips and goes "Hmmm!"

Daiua Greenthorn exclaims, "If nobody else wanna talk, Ah'll do it!"

You have emoted: Lief covers her mouth as she giggles. She wings about an excited circle, then looks to Daiua Greenthorn. "I would be honoured if you led our prayer," she beams.

Daiua Greenthorn nods and smiles, the expression lovely upon her radiant face. "Ahll righ'." She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and reaches down to take Lanni's hand in her own. Surprisingly, he takes it without resistance and stands up.

Lanni Ahonen puts his other hand in your, while Daiua reaches out to grab Pysynne's.

Daiua Greenthorn tilts her head to the sky as a slight breeze passes through her tresses. Her expression is earnest, her eyes squeezed shut with sincere effort as she speaks, "Lady Maylea, 'ello! Me an' Lief an' Pysynne an' Kaiel are seeking Yer 'elp. Not on our be'alf, bu' on tha' o' Lanni A'onen 'ere. 'e's a kaelye, Y'see! Will Ye please 'ear our prayer and show us Yer presence? Everrabody else says please, too!"

A wry smile spreads across Kaiel's face.

Daiua Greenthorn opens one of her eyes a slight crack, looking around. "Anythin' 'appen yet?"

An owl hoots off in the distance.

"Oh righ'!" Daiua Greenthorn lets go of your hand and touches the bindi upon her brow.

Maylea steps quietly into view, the air bending with a swirl of prismatic colours.

Kaiel's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

Pysynne beams broadly at Maylea.

You have emoted: An owl hooting in the night draws Lief's attention, and her eyes open, gazing upward. She sees Maylea and beams excitedly, letting go of the hands she grips to flit about Her with delight.

Kaiel perks up immediately at the sight of Maylea, and can't help but excitedly flit about Her with a broad smile on his face. "Lady Maylea! It is so good to see You again!"

Maylea smiles brightly, "Hello My dears." Her gaze falls upon Kaiel, Pysynne, you, Daiua, and then finally, Lanni Ahonen, whose presence suddenly causes a swirl of flower petals to fly up around Her. "It seems we have a guest."

Relief evident on her face, Daiua Greenthorn says to Maylea, "Ah am SO glad me prayer worked! Ah was afraid Ah'd offended Ye or sommat."

Excitedly gesturing, you say to Maylea, "This is Lanni Ahonen! He is the one I told You about!"

You have emoted: Lief's wings carry her nearer to Lanni Ahonen's side, and she flashes him an encouraging smile.

Lanni Ahonen , upon seeing Maylea, quickly slinks back behind Daiua Greenthorn's robust form, a frightened expression on his face. He peeks out with a single eye, his coarse silver hair scattered about his face.

Maylea leans forward, but does not approach Lanni Ahonen. "Hello, little one, scion of My sister. I am happy to meet you here upon the First World." She smiles encouragingly.

Lanni Ahonen's eyes widen, and he peeks out from the other side of Daiua's body.

"This is our Lady Maylea," Lief whispers to Lanni Ahonen, her eyes bright. "She has wanted to meet you."

Lanni Ahonen slowly, gingerly, comes into the light that surrounds Maylea. He bows low with a sudden motion, ending at a kneel, his eyes continuing to gaze at the Goddess in wonder. He speaks a series of words in his native tongue, amazement filling every utterance.

Lief draws back, watching the exchange between Lanni Ahonen and Maylea, her wings a quiet hum.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "Of course I understand you, My dear. How could I not understand the speaking of My Sister?" Her golden and blue eyes glint kindly, "You are most welcome, Lanni Ahonen."

Daiua Greenthorn nudges Lanni Ahonen with a foot and whispers loudly, "'ey, don't forget to ask about yer ruusu!" She winks at the rest of you.

You have emoted: Lief covers her mouth with her fingers, stifling a giggle as she listens.

Kaiel extends a foot behind him as if taking a step backwards and gracefully alights to the ground a short distance away from everyone, watching from afar with hands loosely clasped behind his back.

Lanni Ahonen speaks to Maylea again, his voice flowing melodically and his gestures lithe and sweeping, as if he were simply more graceful and comfortable in his native tongue. You here snatches of "muku" and "ruusu" and "Maylea" here and there, and before long, Lanni has taken out the muku ball and offered it up to Maylea.

Maylea takes the muku ball in hand and holds it lightly before Her, Her eyes looking upon it with an appraising expression. "I see..." The strand of azure in Her hair seems to run, until it encompasses all Her tresses, and she glows a lovely, solemn blue.

You have emoted: Lief bobs gently in the air, moving with a brisk, gentle breeze occasionally gusting through the area as she listens, and watches, with hope.

Turning to those around Her, Maylea explains, "It seems that Lanni wishes Me to paint a flower for the muku plant."

Pysynne tilts his head curiously.

Utterly entranced, Kaiel emits a long "Ooooh."

Lanni Ahonen nods enthusiastically. "Yes, yes, paint, flower."

With less reticence, Lanni Ahonen says, "Taimi say, Maylea paint flower. I say, muku no flower. I take muku Maylea." He nods. "Maylea paint flower."

With a tilt of her antlered head, musing aloud, you say, "It didn't look much like a flower to me before..."

You have emoted: Lief looks to Maylea curiously.

Maylea lifts the muku ball in Her hand, smiling. "That is because it is not a flower." She waves her fingers about the ball, causing its natural shimmering to increase a hundredfold. "It is a seed."

In a gravelly voice, Spirit-Touched Pysynne says, "Is it edible? I mean.. I have eaten a lot of strange things in the last month..."

You have emoted: Lief twirls a little circle with delight. "A seed! So much promise in a seed!"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity laughingly says to Pysynne, "I do not have a good sense, always, whether something is edible to a mortal. For example, I am astonished that some of you eat Crumkane's creations."

In a gravelly voice, Spirit-Touched Pysynne says, "I have been eating spirit fruit! Or... speaking fruit... Vision fruit! Seeds too..."

Kaiel's eyes sparkle with amusement.

You giggle happily at Pysynne.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "I cannot create or paint what is not already present within, little one. So in one sense, no, I cannot paint you a muku flower."

Lanni Ahonen looks crestfallen. He droops visibly, the silver hair covering his disappointed face.

Gently leaning forward to tilt Lanni's chin until She is gazing into his eyes, Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "However, this does not mean your seed will not bloom."

Maylea smiles, tucking the muku ball into the depths of Her sari. "I will see what I can do for you, My Sister's shard. It is the least I can do, after so many years of lost care." A sorrowful expression crosses Her face. "I should have been there for you, and for all your kin, many aeons ago."

You have emoted: Lief bobs gently in the air, listening with a tilt of her antlered head. A flicker of mirrored sorrow, a mere shadow of what her Lady possesses, crosses her own face as she wings nearer to Lanni Ahonen. "Our Lady cares so very much for you and all the kaelye," she says to him, touching a hand to her heart.

Lanni Ahonen draws in a breath at Maylea's words and at your assurance. He lifts two fingers in one hand and touches them to his forehead, "Keetos..." He looks around at you and the others before returning his gaze to the Goddess, saying, "Lady Maylea."

Maylea's mouth turns up as Her face breaks into a smile.

You smile softly.

A wry smile spreads across Kaiel's face.

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "You may stay with mine own in My Temple, if you wish, while I speak to the muku further."

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity says to Lanni Ahonen, "You and your kin are welcome, always."

Daiua Greenthorn wraps an arm around Lanni Ahonen's shoulder and pulling him up to a stand. "Yea! Ah'll show ye everrathin'! We'll be best o' friends!"

Maylea, Bloom of Serenity smiles and says to Kaiel, "And perhaps, sometime, we should speak again. It has been long since I have seen you, My dear."

Gracefully departing, Maylea dissolves into a swirl of prismatic colours.

Kaiel's mouth turns up as his face breaks into a smile.

Bowing her antlered head deep toward the place She had been standing, you say, "Thank You for coming, Lady Maylea!"

Daiua Greenthorn lets Lanni Ahonen go, allowing him to take a deep breath and brush off his tunic.

Daiua Greenthorn exclaims, "Well!!! Tha' was innerestin' all righ'!"

Kaiel nods his head at Daiua Greenthorn, showing his acceptance.

Lanni Ahonen brushes off his arms and legs and blinks a few times, shaking his head, before looking around.

The smell of wildflowers wafts past your nose.

"Keetos..." Lanni Ahonen touches two fingers to his forehead before pointing them at each of you. He tries to translate. "How say...?"

Kaiel sucks thoughtfully on his teeth.

Tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, Daiua Greenthorn says, "Uhmm.... Thank you?"

Kaiel nods his head at Daiua Greenthorn, showing his acceptance.

Daiua Greenthorn exclaims, "Yes, yes! Thank you!"

Excitedly, Lanni Ahonen exclaims, "Thank you! Keetos!"

Echoing, you say, "'Keetos'..." She smiles and draws nearer to Lanni Ahonen, bobbing in the air near him. "Daiua will do a wonderful job teaching you our language, but I hope we may learn some more of yours, too."

Kaiel nods his head emphatically.

Kaiel says, "I'm quite curious of Kaelye tongue."

Kaiel ponders the situation.

You flash Kaiel a joyous smile.

Grinning widely, Daiua Greenthorn exclaims, "Yes, Ah will be th'best teacher! Bu'in th'meantime, Ah think 'e needs t'see 'is new 'ome!"
