Dear Professor,

I looked over the homework for Distributed Systems course and you say there that we should code this in Java or C++. I was wondering if we can use other external libraries to ease our coding *like Boost for thread-safe queues and multicast network communication* rather than implementing our own. I think it is out of the scope of this homework to implement the communication code.

Also is there any chance to switch the homework to be a group one ? To get into teams of 2 and code it? It is rather a lot of coding here and next week at least us 2nd year students have 3 quizzes pending.
