- You can scale up depending on how much sauce you want to make, buuuuut this is what I do
- 1lb ground beef
- 1lb ground seasoned pork
- and you toss those in first and let them start to cook before the other stuff
- 40 oz (5 cans) of salted tomato sauce
- 30 oz (5 cans) of tomato paste
- (I actually don't know how much the cans hold off the top of my head, but the idea is to have more sauce than paste. Preferably waaaay more.)
- oregano
- thyme
- basil
- rosemary (optional)
- with these it's as much as you want, really. I like oregano and basil the most, so those get tossed in a lot. I never really had a ratio for them lol
- garlic powder
- salt
- a little red cooking wine
- try to use as much garlic powder as salt. I don't have any proper ratios yet. ( ..)"
