spaghetti sauce recipe

  1. You can scale up depending on how much sauce you want to make, buuuuut this is what I do
  2.  
  3. 1lb ground beef
  4. 1lb ground seasoned pork
  5.  
  6. and you toss those in first and let them start to cook before the other stuff
  7.  
  8. 40 oz (5 cans) of salted tomato sauce
  9. 30 oz (5 cans) of tomato paste
  10. (I actually don't know how much the cans hold off the top of my head, but the idea is to have more sauce than paste. Preferably waaaay more.)

  12. oregano
  13. thyme
  14. basil
  15. rosemary (optional)

  17. with these it's as much as you want, really. I like oregano and basil the most, so those get tossed in a lot. I never really had a ratio for them lol

  19. garlic powder
  20. salt
  21. a little red cooking wine

  23. try to use as much garlic powder as salt. I don't have any proper ratios yet. ( ..)"
