Week 9 Power Rankings - CG

1. Sherbrooke Venusaurs - I love a rise to the top story. While a lot of your wins were a bit undeserved at the deginning of the season, you've shown to be an decent battler this season. I was really unsure how this battle would go based on matchup. Fankly would have put my money on Hazy. the Poison berry on Azu was cool prep, but didnt add much longetuity for the game. Mega Latios was *there* I feel like you under utilized it a bit; i mean i guess it widdled Hazys team down, but going down to Pangoro was rough. Hazy definitly made some strange predictions, but you did too i suppose. I like the rapid spin kills lol. Zapdos did some work until meeting a mighty outrage. idk man. you played decently and showed why you deserve #1 this week.
2. Rochester KnighthaXorus - Tough loss this week friend. You've dipped a bit the past few weeks but playoffs can still very much be yours. You played well, though there were a few predictions that were a bit off. i think this match was zoro just wearing you down until you could not longer switch into anything. idk you played alright, and you had a solid matchup. this one came down to in game manuvers, and you just didnt make them.
3. AC Milanturn - Woah! big wins in a row (though both weeks could have been MUCH more impressive).  I'm going to be honest, i didnt expect you to pull this one off. The PR miss on Mega lop was CRITICAL in you wining this.  having quick attack was some AWESOME prep and absolutely needed for a team with KB, Zoroark, and Speed Boosting Scolipede.
4. Toronto Torterras - You had some amazing prep and plays (as well as ALL the control) for the first half of this match. Light screen KB, EQing roosted Skarm, Fire and Thunder fang for Skarm, BOPPING MUKLOLA and LATIOS. then came turn 17... that Play Rough missed changed the course of history and lost you this game. Theres really not too much to say after that. Scolipede was awesome but Sky's mega lop just sorta man handled it. idk how necessary that rest on suicune was but it didnt matter for that long. you outplayed and outprepped but at the end of the day, it didnt even matter. Damn you 90% accurate moves! Agility Zoroark was HEAT AS FUCK btw.
5. Kenora Roserades - I feel like i say this every single time you bring it, but serprerior was underutilized, at least this week it actually did something, until sap sipper zebstrika just kinda stopped it in its tracks (pun intended) the fightinhg berry followed by the para with lax was REALLY nice. I feel like early game you were getting caught with angels AMAZING prep, but then you came back with some really good predictions. I know you said at the end that you stalled with this team, but it really6 didnt feel like stall. more like defensive mons, which is really different. Mantine did WORK this battle which was cool to see. I dont undertsand but i do appriciat ethe kyurem set. like wtf inspried that, i will never know.

8. Arizona Absol Reapers - okay first, LOVE the HP Electric Empoleon. that would be exactly what i would have done. you expertly used zebstrika and played verizion really well. I think you just got thrown by track's defense. Roost Kyurem was NUTTY and definitely would ahve got me too. IDK if the focus blast miss mattered tooooo much but it definitely sucked.
