Veritas things

Veritas' origins were tumultuous. A life of hardship rewarded him nothing in the form of fulfillment. The reason being: He was a being both cursed, and blessed with insight. To be able to peer into the very depths of another, and know their desires.

At the beginning, a slave to the oppression of the Saiyans, a dreg of society like those who would later band together to form the octad that would answer the call of the universe, and set right the Saiyan's tyrannical rule with the slaying of Spargus.

For Veritas, it was done out of necessity; the new 'God' finding that beneath the layers of the former ruler, there was nothing but vileness, and discord; targeted at those who did were not like they were. A poison that could not be allowed, and so to allow the garden that was their world to prosper -- he assisted in nipping the bud.
Journeys into the dungeon revealed the state of all for Veritas. His initial blessings, and damning were empowered; his path determined in the moment that he had come to wield his King's Gear.
Now able to see the the truth of it all, embitterment soon came. The God grew distant, withdrawing into himself. Seeking the secrets of the world had led him to find an impracticality that was apparent, and this created within them a feeling of helplessness and fury that could not be expressed. An irony that did not escape the one who had come to be known as the TruthSeeker.

There we no accidents. This is what Veritas had learned. Through his gifts, he had come to find that it was nothing more than facilitation through unseen forces, and powers.

So he begin to seek strength. For the sake of strength, believing that through his unveiled truths- it would be how he could discover why. If he could grasp power, and reach the plateau of what orchestrated it all, he would be able to finally- find the truth that was sought. The one that existed below all.
