- What Yellow was attempting to do amounted to trying to outrun a Rapidash on foot. There was no way Larxene wouldn’t eventually catch her, but if she could play keep-away long enough for Danny to take care of T, the playing field would still be evened and the odds significantly less stacked against them.
- Still, if all she was doing was buying time, she could manage that for quite awhile. After all, this wasn’t the first time she’d ran from a teleporter. Bison had caught her with surprising ease, but this time Yellow knew how to approach it. She moved erratically, swerving left and right and up and down and backwards every other moment, doing little more than avoiding the various Larxenes that appeared to teleport in on all sides for as long as she could. Occasionally she’d barrel right into one, but the sheer momentum she’d built up helped her bullrush her way through and clear just enough space to dart off in a different direction entirely. If there was one thing Kitty was an ace at, it was maneuvering in the air. Of everyone she’d faced in the Scramble, the only one that surpassed the Butterfree had been Rainbow Dash. Odds were pretty good there wouldn’t be another.
