- Digimon World - "Better" 100 Prosperity FAQ
- What is this category?
- Better 100 Prosperity is my attempt at making a 100 prosperity category for Digimon World that isn't completely reliant on RNG, RNG Manipulation or Bonus try Slots. The run uses RNG Manipulation up to Birdramon fight to guarantee Spinning Shot and Success of Monochromon minigame and once more to manipulate learning Thunder Justice half way into the run, other than that the run makes use of the Quality-of-Life patches built into the randomizer such as:
- - 100% Chance for Piximon, Mamemon and Metalmamemon (i could RNG manipulate these, but that would mean also manipulating the fights)
- - Softlock patches
- - Skipping most of the intro text for faster resets
- - Button Combo quick reset
- - "Oh Shit!" dialog when picking up items (game changing)
- What are the rules for such a category?
- Well thats the thing, as there is no leaderboard or prior runners, i'm making these as i go, as of right now they are:
- - Any% No Major Glitches Ruleset
- - No Bonus Try Slots
- - Certain Quality-of-Life Patches from the Randomizer are allowed, listed below (no randomization features can be used)
- . Skip Intro
- . Recruit Spawn Rate (100%)
- . Fix Softlocks
- . Change Woah Text
- - Use of Button Combo reset inbuilt into a Randomizer patched rom is allowed
- - RNG Manipulation Allowed

- Why not just run Legacy or 100 Prosperity (No Major Glitches)
- I've grown abit burned out on the regular 100 Prosperity run, its over-use of RNG Manipulation and Slots is necessary to PB and i've ran it for far too long, i will go back to that run in the not-so-distant future, but i need to do something else for the time being, which i ran Legacy 100pp but that is far too RNG reliant and very hard to complete runs of, this is my middle-ground category
