Now I question, why god why, not dreaming of being a doctor and making the world a better place

Now I don't think I can keep up in this race called life

A mace swinging with the speed of a knife and, I can't move around, get out of the way

Another day gon' pass by

Spent it yelling a war cry, fighting the battle in ya mind

It's the kinda war you can't surrender

And it's relentless, soldiers in ya' mind yelling end her, yet you sit there and think back

I just wish someone told me

There's not a night without a lecture or some scare, and I question what's the point to write

To live is like to fly a kite, some days it goes smooth the next it won't go

You can't get up you just a no show

A useless hoe, why bother go you know they'll ridicule your already failing work

But within the failure, a masterpiece likes to lurk

And I just wish someone told me
