- unique things in thracia
- - capturing makes you take enemy units after you beat them in a bout where you have half your stats. The enemy unit is treated as if you're "rescuing" them, most of your stats are halved if your con is not sufficiently high enough relative to the enemy unit, but you can rob them of their shit and let them go whenever you want
- - fatigue is a mechanic that adds up every time a unit acts (either attacks or heals or gets attacked or dodges I believe), and if your fatigue goes above your max HP, you must sit out the next chapter. If you use a Stamina Drink one way or another, your fatigue goes down to zero. Fatigue only resets between chapters if that unit is not in the chapter.
- - You must dismount indoors, and you can only use swords indoors when dismounted (and only Cavaliers/Free Knights/Forrest Knights/Paladins/Troubadours can use swords mounted)
- - Weapons do not break, they remain in your inventory as a broken weapon with 0 mt, low hit, and 20 wt
- - Units can grow movement and constitution each level if their growth rates permit
- - all stat caps are 20 save hp which is 80
- - units can have 0-5 movement stars, player and enemy units alike. enemy bosses are the only ones with movement stars guaranteed but some enemies can have them. One movement star gives you a 5% chance of moving again after each turn.
- - PCC is the multiplier for your initial crit rate on a counter attack. Your crit rate caps at 20 on the first attack and PCC*20 for your second.
- - Staffs have infinite range and work on enemies with lower magic
- - Staffs can miss, but decrease their miss rate as you grow more skill
- - Weapon level growth is extremely slow
- - There's a paragon mode which doubles all EXP gain and stacks with the ability Paragon
- - Enemy stats can vary by +/-5 in some chapters, and can have movement variations between 0 and 2 or something
- - leadership stars give +3% hit/evade per star
- - eyval is immortal before chapter 5. literally. she cannot die to anything. she just dodges
- chapter 1;
- - enemy users are lance users; standard FE games have axe users at the start due to low speed, lower defenses, and weapon triangle advantage when applicable
- - leif has 4 base str and 5 base spd with 2 base skl, but has a 1-2 range magic sword
- - marty has 0 base skl/spd
- - tanya sucks because you can't capture from 2 range
- chapter 2;
- - ronan has 15% str and 55% magic growth while sporting 7 movement, 3 movement stars, and 3% movement growth. however, he is an archer.
- - gate gives the boss 19 defense
- chapter 2x;
- - fog of war lmao, the fog of war is a giant black screen until you put units there, and everywhere that you cannot see is pitch black. you literally can't even see terrain. it's so dumb
- - hidden torch!
- chapter 3;
- - sage can go to open a chest with meteor and then bombards you with meteor
- chapter 4;
- - you start hte map with a ton of chumps, none of the broken units you had before, including a thief with 0 str 1 def and like 3 con so she gets captured all the time and she has like 14 hp too
- - not many of your units are equipped
- - leif has no inventory until you unlock his chest
- - you need to escape, escape maps require everyone to escape before leif otherwise they get left behind and can't be recovered until a much later chapter
- chapter 4x;
- - indoors fog of war
- - forseti gives +20 skl/spd and has 20 mt. ced kills like everything. it's hilarious
- - if you don't have a lockpick, you're kinda fucked
- chapter 5;
- - if you don't have a lockpick, you're better off here
- - escape map
- - you have to circle all the way the fuck around to get to the escape point
- - for some reason, a chest that requires you to circle the fuck around, then circle back then circle back to escape for like a magic ring
- - eyval and nanna have to deal with strong enemies, eyval is no longer immortal
- chapter 6;
- - escape map
- - enemies in the middle have meteor and everything
- - if you don't have a door key, you have to go through the middle
- - galzus shows up, has nearly capped stats, a ton of skills, and like 3 movement stars. if he comes after you, you're fucked
- chapter 7;
- - infinite reinforcements, but you can glitch and cause the boss to not spawn so reinforcements stop
- - escape map
- - Finn and Safy are on their own and Shiva often doesn't charge them
- Chapter 8;
- - A lot of units are lost to fatigue
- - boss is a dismounted wyvern and if you don't capture him in 25 turns he mounts and you can't go to the gaiden
- Chapter 8x;
- - Dagda and Tanya are trapped for like half the map and have a high probability of death because dagda keeps activating Charge and Tanya sucks ass and also because Dagda's evade sucks and like 6 pirates are attacking him
- - Boss has 18 str and 22 def on the tile
