  1. Ser Artaghh puffed away at his corn cob pipe with a tired yawn as his steel sabatons steadily clacked away at the stone path leading to the cozy bench outside the Sunlight Hall. As the brisk winds of the northern tundra over the cliff blowing cozily upon his bald forehead, the knight Would take a comfortable seat before leaning his trusty steel great sword over his knees. with a gesture of his unarmored hands, he would dredge a filthy, oily cloth out of his left sabaton before beginning to polish away his trusty companion.
  3. It had seen him through a lot, that weapon. Soon, he would need to find a replacement, a worthy weapon as was committed by his stature as a freshly knighted soldier of Dawn. It would face retirement in the coming months, and gone with it a glorious legacy of adventure and companionship that Artaghh would remember for a lifetime. Looking fondly down at the great blade, he would nod sharply before speaking to it heart to heart.
  5. "Ye' are a nameless soldier of Dawn, me truest and oldest friend. Ye' stood by me faithfully through many battles, and soon your service will be done. Ye' earned me a knighthood, old friend, an' for tha' ye' will never be forgotten." Ser Artaghh, never one for long words, would finish communing with his soon to be retired blade before nodding to the wounded samurai with a puff of his corn cob pipe.

  10.  Batt says, "Easy there."
  11.  Batt asks, "How's it goin'?"
  12.  Artaghh says, "Jus' fine."
  13. Artaghh says, "Sayin' goodbye is all. As a knight, this blade mus' leave me hands fer' one more appropriate'a me station."
  14.  Artaghh says, "Bu' it has served me well, tha's all a man an' a weapon can do."
  15.  Artaghh says, "It was a good run."
  16.  Batt says, "Indeed."
  17.  Batt says, "I know the feeling."
  18.  Batt says, "Attachment to a blade."
  19.  Ser Artaghh would nod solemnly, puffing away at his pipe with a smile still wide on his face. It was unmanly to show any sorrow to his stalwart companion in battle, especially a companion that had been by his side for three years in close quarters melee and combat side by side. The blade would find a trusty place on Artaghh's mantle when he one day had a home.

  26.  Artaghh says, "One day, when he is of age, I'll give this blade to me son. "
  27.  Artaghh says, "An' it will serve him well as it served me well."
  28.  Batt says, "That's a good thing to do, family heirlooms make a family... well."
  29.  Batt says, "A family."
  30.  Artaghh says, "Aye."
  31.  Artaghh says, "Tha' they do."
