Days past , and not a word of the date was brought up between the two, Rest assured however, that Tsuyu was looking forward to it. She hadn't told anyone that he had asked her out. knowing...well mainly Toru and Mina, as well as to a lesser extent Ochaco, Those three would definitely make a huge deal of things, Leading her to over-prepare. Tsuyu wanted to keep a clear head. Soon the time came, And it was dually noted that Tsuyu put some effort into her outfit today. Leading the more excitable girls to smile knowingly. Bot mionding them at all she sat down and waited.

Bakugou was no where to be seen and he didn't ask her to meet anywhere. But whatever, Bakugou was not such a communicative guy, When he wanted her he would get her, and thankfully, before long, he had come downstairs "See you're ready. Let's get going" Everyone who didn't know what was going on collectively froze.

Denki turned to Katsuki "Uh...Who you talkin' to buddy?" He asked.
Bakugou glared at his fellow blonde "My date." he gestured veguely to Tsuyu.
Denki paused, then laughed "Okay,no,Seriously, who're you talking to?"
Asui puffed her cheeks, looking a bit embarrassed"he's not lying. Ribbit." denki paused again, standing up

"Satou?" asked kaminari solemnly.
"yeah?" asked a mildly stunned Rikidou,
Denki sighed "I need you to eat a candybar, then punch me directly in the face."That set of words certainly sobered up the baker quite quickly
"Huh?!"Cried satou in shock."Why in the world would i do that?"
"Because, Satou" Denki replied. "A world where someone as socially inept as Katsuki 'King explosion murder'Bakugou is getting some before me isn't a world i want to live in" he clutched a hand to his chest. Jirou promptly slapped his head with one of her jacks.

"Stop being dramatic." Said Kyouka sternly as Denki cried out in pain. It was for his own good , Jirou could tell his words were striking a cord with Bakugou, and had he gone any further poor chargebolt would have had his career ended before it ever began.

All the rest of the boys were in stunned silence trying to contemplate bakugou in a romantic relationship. Tsuyu took this as a prime opportunity to grab Bakugou and split. Taking his hand and leading the grouchy boy out the door quick as possible. of all the guys in the room Mineta was surprisingly calm. "You seem pretty unphased" Sero pointed out "What gives?"

Mineta turns his head to the side  with a smug look in his eye "She'll be crawling back to me in no time." He said about the girl who at best saw him as an obnoxious younger brother.Leading Sero to snicker.

Meanwhile Asui had Katsuki outside the dorms Still holding his hand, Something which he had surprisingly reciprocated "So, where do you want to go, Katsuki?" She asked looking up at him,
Bakugou grunted before responding."Honestly you're a little overdressed for where i was gonna take you. So you decide" He Explained, He was just going to take her to a little diner that he knew had good spicy foods.
Tsuyu just shook her head "Don't worry about it Bakugou, I'm just kinda happy you took me out and all." She said with a smile"Honestly i'd think you would hate me after i insulted you on that bus ride." Bakugou grumbled.
"Yeah well..."Shit how was he supposed to compliment her? "How the hell're you surprised? I always strived for the best, you ain't any exception" HE didn't even think as he said that, It just came natural to him, the red embellishing her cheeks told him she liked that.
while it was doubtful he would get amazingly far with this by just following his guts, It seemed to put her in her favor for just that instance. His next words, though, were more well thought out. But just as genuine "and as per the bus ride...Don't worry about it... I ain't gonna be mushy or anything like that, but i gotta say. you're the first girl that didn't brown nose me, and i kinda dug that."

Tsuyu giggeld at his wording "Explain?" she requested leaning into his arm and closing her eyes. He was warm.
Bakugou  scratch the back of his neck and glared ahead. "the Broads in my middle school allways liked me, But it wasn't genuine, Much as i liked the praise at the time i hate suckups, And gold diggers especially"Bakugou had a few days to mull over just how he felt about tsuyu, and why, And that was his explanation.
Tsuyu froze for just a second at that."Then, why ask me out? I'm leaching on your money after all." she asked as she picked up the pace.
Bakugou shrugged "you're a genuine enough person for me to know that once you're out of the shit you'll tell me." Bakugou said crude as he was it was a relief to Asui that he trusted her like that. Okay, he was actually shaping up to be boyfriend material...only time would tell if that stuck.

They made their way into town not really talking on the way there Tsuyu was starting to feel a bit awkward, but enjoyed katsuki's presence, They made it to where Bakugou seemed to want to go, A little curry stand. Tsuyu hummed pressing a finger to her chin "This place is pretty quaint, it's cute." she croaked out Bakugou turned an eye to her
"How the hell can a place be cute?" He asked his usual tone outshining the genuine curiosity he was feeling toward her words.
Tsuyu shrugged "It just is, Ribbit." She walked in hand in hand. the two sat at a the counter, Not that there was anywhere else to sit really. The man behind the counter, A well built man with graying hair spoke up
"Yo Katsuki!" he greeted happily. "the usual?"Bakugou gave a grin His usual confident one.
"you know me well enough to know the answer." He spoke with familiar terms. Tsuyu was ,ore than smart enough to see they knew each other, But didn't question it,if it became relevant she'd ask. simple as that.
The middle aged owner of the place seemed to take an interest in her however "Yo who's the girl?" He asked, pointing out tsuyu.

How would he answer that? Bakugou didn't consider her a girlfriend just yet, They barely spoke before, but none the less Bakugou answered" 'er name's Tsuyu. I'm taking her out." The man turned to Bakugou with a raised brow.
"Thought you said you weren't interested in that crap?" he asked with a growing smirk as Bakugou glared back
"i don't see how that's any of yer business Daichi" he shot back leaning his elbow on the table pressing his chin in his palm

Daichi laughed a bit "Hehe, yeah yeah." He continued "What's she having by the way?" He turned to her with a grin
Tsuyu hummed she was no connoisseur of spicy foods, she didn't know what to get. "I'll just have what Kacchan is having"
The man nodded "Two Pumpkin curries coming right up" Tsuyu didn't know if she liked the sound of that.
Bakugou nudged her a bit "Don't worry frogface, it's better than it sounds" he said gruffly as she looked to her lap awkwardly,

The two waited for their food in silence, Bakugou spoke up to break that. "So  what do you like to do exactly?" He asked, best to take refference for future dates.
Tsuyu scratched her cheek "Swimming mostly, Doesn't matter where, Pools, Lakes, Beaches, It's just fun to play in the water" She replied unfurling her tongue."What about you?"
Bakugou  rested his chin on his arms, leaning onto the counter. "I like mountain climbing." He replied, Tsuyu wasn't surprised, Bakugou was alyways the type to enjoy overcoming adversity and what not, he took thrill in reaching metaphorical peaks, why would literal ones be any different?
"Maybe we could do one of those things next?" She asked mimicking him
Bakugou stretched his neck some "Yeah, deffinately." Well he just admitted he would like to go out again to her, But hey that wasn't such a bad thing.
Tsuyu was however a little thrown off by his Blase attitude toward everthing, she thought that he wasn't having fun."Is everything okay? kacchan?" She asked looking mildly concearned
Bakugou grunted "yeah, just...I dunno, don't wanna mess shit up, you know?" He asked looking at her "Shit, I mean, this is my first date, and if i say something wrong, not only will i fuck it up, but the rest of the girls will want my head on a platter, i ain't got the time for that." bakugou replied trying to hide his emotions with reasoning, Reasoning that tsuyu saw right through.

"You know Bakugou, It's okay to be honest, no one's around to judge you but me, And i promise you i won't" she said maturely as someone who has trained in the art of elder sibling-hood for ten years, she was very smart about approaching feelings, Her brother was just as withdrawn with his feelings as bakugou was, just in a different way. so she just tried what she did with him, Gently pushing him to detail how he felt.

Bakugou gave her a stern look, Closed his eyes and sighed "I Like you, I already said i liked you but i need to say it again, because i'm shit at this romance garbage,I'm shit at talking to people i actually don't hate, If it ain't trash talk it's hard to say."tsuyu hummed , nodding along at his words.allowing him to continue "all this will end up doing is pulling away from my goal. It's a distraction... I don't need this. I don't need a girlfriend, I just want to get where i'm meant to be. That's it"
Tsuyu looked to him as  he finished his mini rant."I see, Well Katsuki the way i see it is that your goal is a little shallow, Just being number one, What happens when you get there? What if you can't get there? Even if that's where you want to be in life, Are you sure it'll make you happy?" asked the frog girl plainly. "Sure , you don't need a girlfriend, Just like i don't need a boyfriend. But weather or not that's what we need it'd be nice to have someone to either support you on your way to your goal, Or comfort  you when you realize you can't make it" she stated expertly

Bakugou huffed in response, Looking away from her. Tsuyu continued "If your concern is that you're bad at dating and such, then just do what you normally do, Realize why, and start improving, Make being a good partner a side goal." she advised, While bakugou was still looking away, she could tell he was at least listening. "Even if you don't beat out Todoroki, or Izuku, Or anyone else for that matter  in your goal to become number one, i'll always appreciate you just the same, You've been helping me out a ton, you made me realize you were an okay guy, You got me to like you not because you're strong, but because i can see you can be kind under all that bad attitude, Just expand on that and you'll be a great boyfriend, Ribbit" She croaked out, Adding the ribbit to note that she was finished lecturing.

Bakugou took a breath. "yeah, alright" he said, still reserved, but acknowledging her words and advice, He wrapped an arm around her as their food came.
