[20:06] {NARRATION} There's the sound of splintering wood and combat from behind the walls to the west! A few calls of alarm are cut short by blasts of magic.

[20:09] The sound of wood splintering causes for the Regent to quickly rise from their seat and move towards the West. Sky blue eyes narrow slightly as they looked towards the source of such. A blue light rises around them as their staff is grasped, a golden wing coming from Ikkaku's back.

"Prisoner of Ardent,

You have attempted to burst free of the Prison. You have the right to Trial. You have the right to surrender. It is my recommendation that you take it.

Refusal to surrender will lead to forced apphrension.

Throw down your weapon now."

[20:10] Artaius Lignum asks, "What the...?"

[20:14] Eleena's stared at Ikkaku with a frown. Literally the last person she was hoping to encounter during her attempted breakout was the first to arrive, talk about luck.

"Prison is one thing, but I think I'd rather go down with a fight if being in jail means I have to deal with Awa with most of the time I'm here. So out of the two choices I have...."

Lightning began to spark and arc in the air around her, black flames appearing in her hands ready to be let loose.

[20:20] Shizuki was quick to follow Ikkaku, having heard the racket as well. She eyed the Accursed, narrowing her eyes. She glanced towards Ikkaku, before looking back at the girl.

She drew forth her staff, a holy aura billowing about her form. The Izhuran sighed, disappointed that the woman wouldn't do a proper trial.

"I won't allow you to fight on your own, Lord Regent. I heard tale of an officer allowing you to fight a product of sin by yourself and I refuse to do the same."

[20:20] Blood flows from Vials through the Air as the Regent of Ardent takes several steps forwards. The Golden wings spread as the sky blue eyes stare towards the Prisoner.

"Forced Apprehension it is then. Show me, Accursed; Where does your Demonic feature lay?"

Ikkaku dashed forth, blood striking towards the prisoner.

[20:43] The battle would be a quick one. The Accursed had a few moments to let loose a volley of fire before blood, typhoons, arcane power, and blessings of all varieties would spill forth from Ikkaku, sending Eleena across the ground. The Regent of Ardent wasted no time, having spirits pin the girl down and staring upon them.

"This is become too common.

The punishment for attempted escape of laws and judgement will now be sentenced to death unless otherwise noted. We can not let monsters harm innocent people. This is an order for all standing members of the Fourfold."

With that being said? Ikkaku's staff rises into the air. The end of it find's itself soon ledged upon Eleena's...

[20:47] Awa didn't mind the scene, it was a good scene, after all! Ikkaku is harming an enemy, he should not feel any bad feeling towards the scene.

He only walks to her as Ikkaku gives the command to drag her to the jail. "Uhh. I mean. Are we going to execute her? It will be a good idea.

It is impossible to save her."

He grabs her by her hair, ready to take her to the jail.

"Guards should be present during the times of such a dangerous man. Ahh boy oh boy." He had been to the clinic. He saw guards injured and beaten badly. The Nagual must have done that to them.

"We should make sure to have people posted in all the areas of entering. Robbery, attacks, break outs, and even other matters are going to cause the citizens to feel unsafe."

He would close his notebook.

"Ahh though maybe its a silly idea. But I like to draw up defense points."

[20:55] Pulling on Awa's wrist to ease the pain on her scalp from him holding her by her hair, she stared at Awa for a moment before looking back to Ikkaku.

"I'll do it myself once I'm in the prison.Fuck Awa, and fuck this. Tell Rha'kharo I'm waiting for him to laugh at."

[21:01] Ikkaku turned around, the droplets of blood flying back into their vials. At the same time they would produce several new empty vials, some of the blood of the Accursed being collected into it before they looked towards Kayn first.

"Setting up a Judicial system to speed up judging. And of course I have this in me. I am a Soilder. We can not let people blow up our houses and prisoners and let them escape."

Their gaze turned towards Awa. "They are an Accursed. The first thing I want to do is have a surgeon look them over; They are infested with Demonic powers and we may be able to find out exactly how to cleanse them. We do not know something is impossible as of yet."

A look towards Kajura. "That sounds like a good idea.."

There is a pause however upon Eleena's words. A slight sigh leaves the Regent, turning to face Eleena.

"I would prefer you stay alive. You have a trial that will determine your sentencing. But I will ask then.

Do you truly desire to die in this moment?"

A hand raises, stopping Awa from moving Eleena from the spot.

[21:03] Eleena says, "If I have to continue dealing with Awa the rest of the time I'm in prison, then without a doubt."
[21:03] Awa slowly shook his head while he was listening to her words, confused about everything.

He glances to Ikkaku, unsure about his mercy at this moment, trying to understand what is inside his mind. What a good guy.

However, it is just not good for Ardent. Awa keeps his gaze on him. "That's shameful. They laugh at the impunity, they laugh at our mercy. They laugh at our borders, they kill a commander, they capture an officer.

It is simply. SHAMEFUL. We should not grant mercy to Gaiar Aetherius, we should not grant mercy to someone that helped them, she was there to help them, she is on the same side that killed our commander."

He grabs his sword, angry as hell. "We should just execute her NOW. We should execute any enemy, anyone helping Gaiar Aetherius is someone that doesn't deserve any kind of mercy.

Anyone helping demons... Anyone tainted like her... Should not live. That false mercy caused the fall of Ardent several times. Being merciful to a PREDATOR is not mercy, it is stupidity. And- she is loyal towards them, she will never be a citizen. She will never be someone actually good, she will always help them. You know about her condition, I know about her condition."

He twitches his ears. "That's why a prisoner escaped. That's why our army is weak. That's why everything doesn't work here. We should not hear anyone that ACTUALLY befriends demons, we should not hear anyone that ACTUALLY claims to be Tragedy's friend like that chick Dryad.

A telekinetic force moves around Eleena, lifting her into the air. "And if she intends to kill herself, then I shall do this now rather then later. There is Justice, punishments, to be had for her actions. But letting that happen on the streets with no one prepared.. Is a bad thing."

A force like hundreds of invisible strings keep Eleena from moving her arms or legs, keep her from anything that she might do to end herself. The woman would begin to float towards the Fourfold Fortress.

"Come along Awa. If she wishes for death, has done actions deserving of death, and after this fiasco, she will be granted death. I will attempt to first purge her of the parasite to learn more, then have her execution.

It will be now and within the fortress."

Ikkaku turned. Much like Eleena due to the telekinetic force, Ikkaku would start to walk into the Fortress.

[21:19] Eleena was silent the entire time Awa was talking. Everything he said sounded stupid to her at this point, even IF it ever one day made sense. When she wandered Ardent or when she wandered Crafthold, the ones she didn't see die would sooner or later join Crafthold.

"You say that's why Ardent is weak, but why is Gaiar accepting all these people constantly coming from Ardent? Not too long ago, GEESE came along. After that? someone I believe was named Laureline was seen around recently. Even your only alchemist, Mipha, acknowledged that Ardent is falling apart. She didn't wanna move to Crafthold, but she still wishes to leave. Gaiar is NOT the only excuse you have for Ardent being so barren- and removing Loyalty? I have no loyalty for Gaiar. Crafthold is just full of what people need most. If you don't know what that is, it's what Ardent is currently lacking. CRAFTERS. Blacksmiths, Alchemists, Runesmiths, even a few chefs. Why would I stick around in Ardent, which isn't even where I'm originally from, when everything that I need is in Crafthold? Have you ever actually heard of me killing or maiming anyone from Ardent? You constantly say you saw me in that raid Awa, but who did you see me hurt? Who did you see me harm? If you touched my neck that's the equivalent of killing me. There's no safety to keep me in Gaiar, only a killswitch if it is harmed."

[21:32] It seems that it would be the first time in his life, that Durara would in fact bare witness to what would be an execution. He had never seen such a thing, even in his time at Atlantis. So, the prospect of watching not one-- But two executions in the same day was quite simply. Mind blowing.

He wasn't sure about how he felt about it-- All he knew was that he was in fact interested in the methodology and general reaction of the others.

Both have fought for Gaiar Aetherius to harm the innocent people of Ardent. Both have shed Ardent's blood for the force of Demons. Both are foes. And we can not afford to be weak to foes.

You may ask if this is Justice; So I counter with this. It is. Fighting for creatures that wish to burn this city, killing for them and bowing your head to chaos is a crime that we execute for. It is not treason. It is because they are our enemy. You may say that they have a chance to change, but Shiro Mayer and Eleena have already fought for the other side. [22:03] That was it. That was the end, in a way she would never expect it to be, dying by the fortress of Ardent, the place she once did swear to protect by the name of the Lord Regent, Shiro Zheng. How ironic was it, that she lived for that man for many years, only to die in front of the same people she once loved and fought for. Maybe she got misguided from her path at some moment, maybe the years in reclusion changed her into a more aggressive woman, willing to fight with Demons in order to restore what she believed in.

War.
She was fighting in a war where many were being slaughtered by her allies, even if she didn't kill a single Magi or non-magi by herself. She was wrong, that was clear for her, but she kept going non-stop, aiding Gaiar in order to destroy Ardent. But why would this woman, that once lived by the peaceful tenets of Silver Lake, do this?

"Ardent."

Said the woman in a loud enough volume, so the square would be able to hear it, hoping that she would be able to give a last speech before joining the life stream.

"The few of you that still remember my face, my name and my legacy, my ways and my motto, might be wondering why I decided to join Gaiar, and fight for it, even if I clearly had different ideals than their own. The reason, is that at the time, by my eyes, this place was filled with issues. Issues that I couldn't help but feel the need to cleanse it. At the start, I wanted to help using my peaceful ways, using what I have learned as the leader of Silver Lake, as a pacifist... But no matter at what corner of Ardent I was, no matter the person I talked to... It was all the same."
She sighs, as she continues her speech.

"Sin, lust, depravation. This place was no better than Gaiar, or maybe even worse. I saw people looking only to themselves, with little to no motivation to help or even fight for their people. I saw racism against each other, disrespect, sex, I saw lack laws, where a stupid gang of children managed to overthrow the power of the Regent at the time, and took over. I saw lack of organization and honor, the very basic principles of Jianghu, the foundation of Ardent, completely shattered by their own citizens... I was sad, and infuriated, because I saw the same mistakes my own people, the Silver Lake people, commit. I didn't manage to fix it, which led to the biggest failure of my life.. My own settlement becoming my biggest shame. If you guys fail to see the joke Ardent became, then I hope your current Regent manages to do it for you."
Looking back to Ikkaku, she sighs in relief.

"As I fought Ikkaku by the war, I saw the light. A light I only did see once here in Agartha, by the Regent I did mention before, Zheng. He has what is needed to bring Ardent to its prime, to the potential I believed it always had. I die here, knowing that what I did was a mistake, that I fought for the wrong side, but I die with pride, knowing that this place, as long as the citizens can see their mistakes, their lack of unity, and unite under one banner. This is your home, Ardent, this is your life and your dreams. Do not let it fail and fall, like mine."
Looking to Bob, she smiles at him.

"Worry not, my friend... I will tell Kazuo and Vaj'ra that you are the greatest and most honorable Blacksmith, Silver Lake ever had. I love you, my friend."
Looking to Calie, she holds her hand lightly, knowing what was about to come.

"I love you my silver flower... I am sorry that things had to end like this. We will meet again soon enough."
Closing her eyes, she waited for her inevitable end.

"Honor, even to an enemy. Forgiveness, even to those who don't deserve it. Kindness, even to evil. Peace, even towards violence. Those are the tenets of Silver Lake, tenets I forgot, but now... I finally remember them."
And so dies, Shiro Mayer of Silver Lake.

[22:38] Thirty two years...thirty two long years had Bob been on Agartha, only to see himself at the front of the fortress where he once sold wood during an execution under Shiro Zheng all those years ago to be performing a merciful execution upon one of his oldest friends under Ikkaku Ukitake. The man was always a kind sort at heart, a pacifist who only resorted to violence as a last resort...much preferring the clang of the forge or a good book beside a warm hearth. He always hoped to find a small measure of peace in these lands, to colonize Agartha...to acquire and send home spire shards to the Emperor.

Despite all his peaceful intentions and desire to live peacefully the fates seemed to have different plans for Bob. Hunted by The Crows simply due to his association with Silver Lake, the demon Khz'iel and the dark fae Osonia attempting to consume him, the Demon Wolf Daevas, and numerous other threats to his very life were constantly beleaguering his tracks over the years. Largely he sought refuge in the company and acceptance with his Silver Lakian comrades, content that they accepted him as one of their own.



And now this night thirty years after his induction into the family, he was to slay one their own out of mercy.



He didn't want this, he didn't want to be the one to take the life of another. Never had Bob before drawn his sword and taken the life of another...always keeping his sword close at hand for self-defense but never to kill. However, due to the bloodthirsty nature of Arie he must do what must be done to ensue a clean and painless death.



He was doing this as a last favor for Shiro Mayer, for Silver Lake, as there was nothing else that could be done in his eyes.



Listening to the last words that Shiro had to say before she went off to meet with the Lifestream itself, Bob wept silently as he looked back towards the crowd. Tears streamed down his eyes as he continued to listen...glancing back to Shiro all the while...making sure his children were not here to witness this tragedy that was to befall him.

"Shiro" Said Bob in a shaky voice. "It's true, this place has traces of sin, depravity, and at times some lust. I long for the days of Shiro Zheng where we were all unified regardless of our race, sex, so long as we believed in a common cause...the cause of Ardent. But let us not forget the common good, justice, honor, and especially mercy. Despite all these shortcomings over the years the biggest one I regret is the horror of war that weakened us all as a people. I regret having to be the one to do this horrible act this night, to you of all people...my friend."

Bob wiped the tears from his eyes but it soon proved futile, another stream steadily made its way back down to his cheeks. He stood by as he listened to her words to the Regent...then to himself. Choking up in his throat he responded.

"May Kraus, Shenlong the Skywarden, and Jiuweihu welcome you into their embrace. I hope to see you all when my time comes...save me a bottle of Calie's blueberry mead, alright~?"

Thinking of Vaj'ra, Vaj'rin, Kazuo, Sarasha, and all the other fallen of Silver Lake, Bob listened to Shiro's last words to her beloved wife. Once the words were finally spoken he heard the familiar mantra and motto of Silver Lake spoken, and once Shiro had said her peace he drew Celestial Fury from its scabbard...the virgin blade writhing and crackling with intensely pulsating and arcing electrical energy down the length of the blade. Placing his left hand upon the back of Shiro Mayer's neck he sent an electrical impulse along her nervous system to block out pain and movement to ensure for the most merciful kill he could give her.



"Honor, even to the enemy.
Forgiveness, even to those who don't deserve it.
Kindness, even to evil.
Peace, even towards violence."

"Forgive me Shiro, Calie, and all of Silver Lake..."

And with that Bob took a deep breath, raising his sword on high with both hands...his sights aimed upon her central neckline. With haste to end her suffering he struck true, the blade decapitating Shiro's head neatly from her body...the wound cauterized instantly from the heat along the blade. No blood would be shed this night, yet the deed was done...Shiro Mayer was dead...and Bob's heart broke in twain as he collapsed to his knees on the cold cobblestone pavement, his sword slack at his side.

"She was honorable, at the end. She wanted to strike down the corruption that was within Ardent, and we will continue to work against the corruption. We will stand against Sin, against lust, against Depravation. We will accept one another and not fall to racism. We will have honor, and we will remain organized.

And we will not bend. We will not break. We will not fracture. And we will not make mistakes. May Shiro Mayer find peace in the light."

There is a moment for pause, perhaps mourning. The Sky blue eyes close for a few seconds, breathing in. The calmness continued to radiate around their form as their gaze turned to Callie.

"Callie is charged with assisting a break out, and assaulting a Colonel of the law. I will hear two voices on this. We will decide on her punishment now and not send her to prison.

Arie; state your side, any further crimes you believe they have committed, and punishment you believe they deserve. Then Cassius; State your side, any further crimes they have committed, and what you believe they deserve.

I will deliver a punishment that I deem just."

Removing the mantle from the man neck, the silve hues fall onto each one of the persons on the square, looking deep at each oen of them, the wound was clearly seem by them, occutl burns all over it, the pain still within him.

"This woman attacked a man, who fought for you people, who got injured for you all, for Ardent, I fought to protect this country, to not let your loyal people to be hurt, and for what? To defend a prisoner who was trying to escape."

Crossing his arms, he would tilt his head to the left, looking at Ikkaku this time...

"Her acts, a treason against our people, she could endanger us all for the life of someone who raided us, it could be any of you people trying to stop the prison break, and she would attack..."

A sigh from him, that was all he had to say to Ikkaku, he expected the square to hear it, and have some reason, and again his gaze would fall onto the people watching...

"As I asked once. Tell me Ardent. What's the fate of a traitor? What's the punishment to those acts?"

He knew that Calie had acted only out of love, and just wanted to help her significant other. She was pure at heart, and undeserving of execution. [00:36] Ogata Nyaruo says, "This works both ways, where the existence of such souls pose a danger."
[00:36] Bob Hatake says, "Hinata..."
[00:36] Shizuki Minamoto says, "That sounds adequate, Lord Regent. I'll be doing some guard duty myself to ensure that the prison is secure. "
[00:36] Ikkaku Ukitake asks, "Bob, do we have a collar?"
[00:36] Bob Hatake says, "In my shop."
[00:36] Hinata Yukishiro says, "Let's talk somewhere else-- when you're free."

Rather then having someone else do it, the Regent uncaps a vial of blood. Red liquid spills forth into the air from the vial, floating around. It takes a moment, before forming a whip and being flung towards Eleena's neck.

The whip of blood cuts straight through the flesh. Following this, the blood within the girl's veins stops. Like a dozen spikes it cuts through skin in every direction, cutting skin, bone, and all other portions of her body down into tiny tiny pieces, then vanishing into a miasma which floats through the air.

The blood hovers and Ikkaku motions. Several vials are produced, uncapped, and float in the air, Eleena's blood gathering within them before they are capped and placed upon the Regent's belt.

No remains, no mess.

"No Accursed shallbe experimented on. We will instantly send them forth into their next lives if we catch them."
