8:30:01 AM) Ikiryo: She nods, lightning crackling about her as she rises up on her magnetic levitation again.
(8:32:51 AM) Feldi: Linny moves to follow after. 'You can come, if you want.' She types to Tyaenn before her hands become paws.
(8:35:30 AM) Ikiryo: Tyaenn frowns "I do not trust you...and the children require someone to look after them."
(8:38:19 AM) Feldi: 'Take care of them, for the war that comes after.' With that, she bounds after Sierra.
(8:38:59 AM) Ikiryo: It's a good half an hour later when Sierra drops to the ground, crouching suddenly.
(8:44:07 AM) Feldi: Linny, back in halfling form, only has to bend her knees a little to be just as hidden.
(8:44:32 AM) Feldi: She looks for what brought Sierra to a stop.
(8:47:27 AM) Ikiryo: Up ahead looks like an empty valley with a small cave on one end. She brings up an AR display...and the infrared shows several heavy tanks, hovering above the ground and many buildings. All hidden from normal sight.
(8:50:13 AM) Feldi: Linny sniffs, smelling exhaust and oil in the air now. 'What now?'
(8:51:43 AM) Ikiryo: "How good is your throwing arm? The substance doesn't use eyes to find it's targets."
(8:56:06 AM) Feldi: 'Good enough.' She holds out a hand for the Naraka.
(8:56:42 AM) Ikiryo: She hands it over. "Be careful not to crack the container before you throw it. If given the shut down command, I won't be able to reactivate it."
(8:59:43 AM) Feldi: 'I'll be careful.' She adjusts her grip carefully, glancing at the thermal feed to decide where to throw.
(9:01:24 AM) Feldi: She throws it in a long arc, aiming for the middle of the operation.
(9:26:34 AM) MaximusPrime left the room (quit: Ping timeout).
(9:42:44 AM) Ikiryo: The container bursts against the air, grey goo starting to spread along it...further and further.
(9:46:47 AM) Feldi: Linny watches it spread.
(9:48:03 AM) Ikiryo: It seems to speed up...and a figure in red robes screams as he materializes, the goo consuming him...his figure melting away
(9:49:27 AM) Feldi: Linny flicks on the recording function again, a frown growing on her face.
(9:54:19 AM) Ikiryo: More figures appear as it spreads, consuming them quickly but clearly in utter agony. The valley is quickly becoming a flat grey plain as the tanks materialize just long enough to be destroyed. The servitors stand there impassively, not acting as they too are destroyed.
(9:56:22 AM) Feldi: Linny laughs, as one might expect her to, if they believed the simple sight of death to bring joy to a barbarian.
(9:57:08 AM) Feldi: In her head though, she looks out at what must be the ultimate form of war out among the stars. And she hates it.
(9:58:39 AM) Ikiryo: Eventually it slows and stops though, the grey expanse empty and silent
(9:59:33 AM) Feldi: She turns off the recording and turns to Sierra. 'And that's it. We're done here?'
(10:00:39 AM) Ikiryo: She nods. "I believe so. I doubt it is the only Dark Mechancus force on planet but we will not likely find more here."
(10:03:14 AM) Feldi: 'Let's get back to the Serpent then.'
