  1. Dragon Cave comparison :MS/TAS/LOTAD = 1:22.50 by Sonata
  2. vs
  3. WR = 1:23.25 by R-J-Clapham
  4.
  5. first thing to know : here russell use a straight line notably to be prepared to take the left shortcut
  6. the savestate run use a strategy which can save between 2/3 frames if performed correctly : get incurved slightly with the snow floor for the section until you had to jump on the left.
  7.
  8. how to get it : the strat usually takes time to be perfect, but you can guarantee easily a frame saved by just pushing after the start the stick a little far on the left side (by 20° degree i would say)
  9. that's surely necessary to pull off a 22 run , but you can lose time here and still getting it.
  10.
  11. on this route , russell took a little far on the right the left wall and got an airtime with it
  12. you can get it straight and more closer to the wall , this is a save about for a 0,5 , and probably a full frame if he avoid his big airtime part
  13.
  14. russell took the left side more closely this time , if you are straight at this section you can save 2 frame at most.
  15.
  16. russell got a good mountain down skip , notably a good pre jump too , but his position in the end can be more straight meaning a frame saved more at this point
  17.
  18. still the same on the jump before the 3 jump floor, just need to be more right to save probably 0,5 frame
  19.
  20. before the fallen cliff , you had to made jump 3 times in a row, this can avoid a low ride rock section and save between 2/3 frames if perfomed correctly
  21. 1/ before the bridge , russell release his Z button to enter on it more easier , this strat lost 1 frame
  22. 2/ and really important , you can lost 4 frames if your bridge ending is on the right side
  23. the best to got here is to finish a little on the left side , luckly you can save a frame here too
  24. if you are on the right side , the problem lies with the speed which you lost for a few times 1km/h , which not on the left side
  25.
  26. doing a jump on the zigzag here save 1 frame
  27.
  28. taking far right the house jump is better to avoid an airtime , and before the ice part , making a short jump can save a pixel
  29.
  30. and finally , making a jump before the end save probably 0,5 frame
