  1. ---------------- general introduction -------------
  2. As you get closer and closer to your destination, you can feel the wind picking up with each step, the cold biting at your skin. It's not strong enough to push any of you over, but it's powerful enough to make your cloaks billow and your bodies shiver, as if you were at the top of a chilly mountain.
  3.
  4. Then, just as suddenly as the wind started up, it fades away, and a bustling city with tall buildings and an ocean of people comes into view. Great golems constructed out of steel painted either snow white, dirty green, or cool blue break through the endless rectangles, though none of them move, their bodies permanently attached to the ground and some of the buildings nearby. Some were missing heads, while others were nothing more __than__ heads - regardless, the citizens were barely paying any attention to the gargantuan figures, as many piled in or out of them, just as if they were any other structure.
  5.
  6. A short bit into the city, there's a place with four paths - one that leads back to where you all came from, and three that each correspond to one of the colors of the giants; white, green, or blue. Which district will the party enter?
  7. -------------- pearl district ----------------
  8. As the party decides to head to the white district, they can see a variety of pictures of what seems to be the exact same character, drawn in a variety of styles with various messages: a female tiefling wearing a pearl-white kimono, with horns that were almost as tall as she was, and a white mask that seemed to smile sweetly at them - essentially the exact same character as the one in the blue district, but with a different outfit and a happier mask. She was being used as a mascot for hotels, government buildings, restaurants, lewd comic stores, and just about anything that the eye could see - though there were a rare few mascots that didn't seem tied to this woman, they weren't common at all.
  9.
  10. Save for the stores and government buildings, this district was almost entirely dedicated to people living here, and it gave off a general feeling of unease and relaxation to walk around in. The breeze had returned, but it was far less intense, now - it was more like a calming blanket of wind that took away their stress and tension, all the way down to their bones, almost like a massage.
  11.
  12. Though there were some golems turned into buildings in this place, the majority of structures that had been converted from the steel titans were hard to tell at a glance - some hotels had bits that looked like chestplates, and there were cylinder-shaped restaurants that appeared to be robotic arms with their hands removed. Most of the buildings were just made from scratch, though, as if this were any other normal city.
  13. -------------- emerald district ---------------------
  14. *As the party decides to head to the green district, they can see a variety of pictures of what seems to be the exact same character, drawn in a variety of styles with various messages: a female tiefling wearing an emerald-green suit, with horns that were almost as tall as she was, and a white mask that seemed to be friendly and focused on work. She was being used as a mascot for merchant corporations, fishing corporations, drug stores, and just about anything that the eye could see - though there were a rare few mascots that didn't seem tied to this woman, they weren't common at all.*
  15.
  16. *The district was absolutely full of people, and though most of them were just trying to get from place to place while avoiding eye contact, there were a couple holding signs by the street, shouting about their absolutely amazing new product that will revolutionize the world, or some vapid bullshit like that. Nobody paid any mind to them.*
  17.
  18. *Many of the buildings in this place were shaped like the heads and hands of the golems, while a rare few megacorporations had their headquarters partially made out of entire automatons. Sometimes, structures would be made from one mechanical head connected to a rectangular brick-shaped building, almost looking like a theme park ride.*
  19. --------------- sapphire district ---------------------
  20. As the party decides to head to the blue district, they can see a variety of pictures of what seems to be the exact same character, drawn in a variety of styles with various messages: a female tiefling wearing a sapphire-blue set of armor, with horns that were almost as tall as she was, and a white mask that seemed to be serious, almost standoffish, carrying a red trident by her side. She was being used as a mascot for blacksmiths, weapon and armor stores, mercenary corporations, and just about anything that the eye could see - though there were a rare few mascots that didn't seem tied to this woman, they weren't common at all.
  21.
  22. Though there weren't as many people walking around as the entrance had, anyone that __was__ had bodies that were either covered up with thick clothing, and/or had many scars covering their forms. Some buildings had guards in front of them, while others had signs that said things like "Criminals will be persecuted violently." Overall, the whole district had an incredibly hostile aura to it, like any one wrong move could get you killed.
  23.
  24. Fully intact golems were fairly common in this district, some of them even still carrying gigantic weapons that were the size of buildings - usually swords and spears, though a few had weapons that looked like a cross between a gun and a bow. Though they were unmoving, still converted into various buildings just as the ones near the entrance had appeared to be, they definitely felt like they could come alive at any moment, and crush the party like bugs.
