Personality : Shuxue grew up with four older brothers and because of that, is a total tomboy and acts like a boy most of the time. She plays all types of sports, basketball and hockey being her specialties, and has a nasty competitive side. She can be very tough when she needs to and is skilled in kung fu. She’s not really used to being around people because she spent most of her life being too caught up with extracurricular activities to pick up some basic social skills, and can be a bit cold at times. Even though she’s got a cold and antisocial exterior, inside she’s a total child who wouldn’t get a crude joke if it slapped her in the face. She’s extremely hard headed and stubborn, if her mind is set on something, she’ll do it, no matter the consequences and always jumps into things without thinking it out first, and most of the time, that doesn’t end up good. She speaks without thinking at times, and is very blunt but doesn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings and is very sensitive. She has never been able to go outside to enjoy the outdoors and is a bit wary of doing so, but at the same time, really really wants to. She’s full of energy and eats food faster and more than she can talk. She has a soft spot for anything cute, blue, and/or white and will try to touch it. She also possesses a strong aptitude for music and plays the guzheng (古箏) , a traditional chinese instrument, and likes to sing. She recently picked up ukulele.


Background:
Shuxue grew up in the shadows of her four older brothers, who were all very talented and brought lots of pride and fortune to the family. She was always looked down upon, being the youngest and only girl in the family. Her parents pushed and pushed her to be number one at everything and filled up her schedule with extracurricular activities, leaving next to no time for her to do homework, much less socialise. She was the antisocial nerd at school that no one could bully because she was so busy with activities and clubs, no one could find her. She graduated middle school and high school as valedictorian and even got admitted into Princeton on a full scholarship. She placed first in music competitions nationally, yet her parents never seemed to notice, but just pushed her even harder. She thought she wasn’t good enough and constantly doubted herself. She quit almost all of her extracurricular activities as soon as she left for college and has given up on trying to make her parents proud, she knows it will never happen.

His Personality:
He's a bad boy who is extremely competitive. Always the best at everything until Shuxue came along and bumped him down to second at a lot of things. He's cold to almost everyone and is always there to roast or give a backhanded remark. While he seems like a pretty mean and cold person on the outside, inside, he's a total child who is extremely immature. Once he focuses on something, he is so focused on it that he is oblivious to everything else. He gets confused easily and is quite ignorant to a lot of things. He can be extremely sweet and romantic and loves to prank people. He's also extremely stubborn. He is extremely athletic and enjoys being outside and helps Shuxue adapt to the outdoors. He always competes with Shuxue, it doesn’t matter if it’s sports or music or eating, and both of them have had their fair share of losses and wins.

How he acts towards you:
He is even more mean and cold to Shuxue than he is to the others because of how she can beat him at a lot of things. He is completely unaware of the negative impact it has on her though, or else he would have been kinder, and he does feel really bad about it afterwards. He eventually warms up to her
after realizing they have lots in common and they do everything together.


How you act towards him:
Shuxue is always hiding from him because his outside personality is not the most welcoming, especially for such a shy and antisocial girl like her. She starts opening up to him after she sees him secretly watching anime. She talks the most when he's with her, otherwise, she's more of a reserved person.


Your story:
Beginning:
Shuxue is always trying to avoid him because she's a little scared of his cold attitude and doesn't like how he's so mean to everyone. For some reason though, they always end up running into each other and in the most awkward of times and situations. Shuxue is always unknowingly beating him at everything, from basketball to video games, and doesn't understand why he's getting visibly more and more agitated with her. Shuxue didn't feel like being with all the other couples that seem to be so close with their significant other, even if they try their hardest to include her, so she hid in her favorite hiding spot. She just so happened to hear the theme song to her favorite Kdrama of all time, Legend of the Blue Sea. She followed the sound and happened upon him watching on his laptop, oblivious to the world. She noticed that it was on one of the free sites that had really bad resolution, so when he left his room, she left her DramaFever account on a sticky note on his laptop.


Middle:
They eventually get closer, finding that they have lost in common, and he helps bring Shuxue out of her shell. They start watching anime and kdramas together and go outside a lot to play sports and find good places to eat.


End:
They end up really close and continue their relationship after the show, keeping in contact with all the other couples also.
