- *Months had gone by on Veldin, Sly having been a guest at Ratchet's repair shop for so long that he had basically moved in at this point. Him and Ratchet were sharing a bed every night, he had gotten used to the planet and it's differences, had gone out exploring the nearby areas, experienced the local flavour, even started planning some heists on his own. Bentley being the brains of the Cooper gang normally made it hard for Sly to come up with intricate plans, and was in no way about to risk being caught, so he had been careful. But being isolated from his usual forté for so long had given him the itch once more. But it wasn't just on Veldin Sly had found his place. No, Ratchet had even allowed him to come with him on some of his missions, primarily doing infiltration and recon for Ratchet before they moved in. Sly could handle himself in a fight, but these war bots were a lot heavier than the average museum guards he was used to, so he stayed in the shadows, as he was so good at.
- Time had gone by, and when he had time to himself, he had begun thinking back to his pals back at Earth, and how they were feeling about Sly's absence. Maybe Bentley already figured out where Sly ended up, but just didn't have the means of traveling. Maybe Murray was still in a state of shock. Sly didn't know, and while he did care, he had to admit that the thoughts were in the very back of his mind, and his focus more on Ratchet and the new place he found himself in. The two had gotten to be really close and he was quite happy with the arrangements. He had even managed to handle Ratchet's RYNO and had great fun with the Groovatron. Despite the alien surroundings, he was content.
- The master thief was currently lying in a hammock that he had put up between two palm tree-looking trees, the sunset's on Veldin were quite different from those on Earth and he found himself to enjoy them. Sly didn't have his own room in the hangar, so he found this place to be his quiet spot, and it was within visual distance of the hangar. He spent a lot of his down time here.*
