- ok, I got a theory.
- I have been wondering how did mayberry get to the other level of hell and why sinner can't leave?... I think it have to do with hell secret police. I mean we know they are real from this comic
- h ttps://www.hazbinhotel.com/alastor-comic/page-1
- the idea that they are the one's who is guarding the hellivator and keeping the eye on pride to make sure no sinner try do something very stupid. but if you die and look very similar to a hell born imp like Mayberry & the Ohio demon, you could get pass by them. and blend in.
- but do the fact they are cops, maybe you can pay them off so you can get to the other levels of hell. then again they could just keep the money and keep you out but every wall have a crack & if you find it... you can get in.
- that explain why we saw a sinner in S1 Episode 3 of helluva boss and also explain why val can't get to the others levels, if you are very well know or a overlord. I pretty sure lucifer told his secret police they can't get to the other level unless HE told them to let the overlord to pass by.
- that is my theory I thought of when I woke up and got on here.
- -
- I think you’re probably right
- -
- thanks anon

- >that is my theory I thought of when I woke up and got on here.
- That could be it, but it's more likely that Imp City is simply located on Pride.
- We know from Alastor's comic that the Cannibal Colony is a somewhat gated area, sheltered from the general chaos of Pentagram... Who's to say that Imp City isn't another place like that, just an entire city this time around?
- -
- >We know from Alastor's comic that the Cannibal Colony is a somewhat gated area, sheltered from the general chaos of Pentagram... Who's to say that Imp City isn't another place like that, just an entire city this time around?
- I can see that
- -
- Maybe Pride is the size of Earth, while the other rings are really fkin small, like at most the size of a large city or county and thats why Sinners can only go to Pride.
- -
- that is interesting
- ---
- I imagine it would cost a lot of money, which would be hard for the average sinner to come by, which explains why Mayberry would be able to manage it. She seemed willing to do just about anything for revenge
- -
- >which explains why Mayberry would be able to manage it. She seemed willing to do just about anything for revenge
- yeah but that make me even more feel bad for her, how did she found that much money to get pass by them?... I don't want to know.
- -
- maybe she just fk the cops to get pass by
- -
- Respect the dedication
- -
- yep
- ---
- I hypothesized that the Rings are concentric and are exponentially shrinking, from Pride, all the way down to Sloth, which also includes them having less Circles.
- -
- so Satan place is just a ice rink?
- -
- He's in Wrath, which is the Second Ring, so I'd imagine he has a pit of ice there somewhere. Well, either that, or they're eschewing his Danteian description, and go with how he originally appeared in Zoophobia.
- -
- Was he in Wrath? I thought Dante's Inferno made a 'Betrayal' ring for him.
- Maybe it's not on the Hellevator because they don't want random Hellborn visiting Satan?
- -
- What if...the rings themselves move up and down? And first second third and so forth refers to size?
- -
- >>42886035
- Could be. It would be fitting for Hell that physics and the like don't function as you'd expect, and it's all chaotic.
- >>42886009
- In the classical interpretation of the Seven Deadly Sins, Satan is the Prince of Wrath, as he is the Accuser, who judges without God's grace (in fact, the reason he was kicked out of Heaven, besides the whole rebelling thing, was because he just wanted to punish mercilessly).
- ---
- >>42885965
- >and go with how he originally appeared in Zoophobia.
- I forgot what he look like in it, I need a pic of it.
- >>42886009
- I have not read Dante's Inferno before so idk but I think that is true.
- >Maybe it's not on the Hellevator because they don't want random Hellborn visiting Satan?
- it be funny in the show if he is a really nice person but no one want to visiting him because of the storys people made of him.
- >>42886035
- I guess so?
- ---
- But then he would be a fallen angel, which would make him Lucifer wouldn’t it?
- -
- Lucifer and Satan are seperate beigns.
- There were many many fallen angels but Lucy was among the first given whole usurping God sht he tried to pull off that back fired at him.
- -
- >Stolas let Dhork agent live
- Kinda curious since he used her as a portal, would she have a connection to him?
- ---
- Whoops.
- He was actually called Lucifer:
- h ttps://zoophobia.fandom.com/wiki/Lucifer
- -
- wow, that is something.
- I wonder if viv going to re-use that look for Satan or use that look for a easter egg?
- -------------
- What would make a good video game that takes place in Imp City?
- GTA Clone?
- Turn-based jRPG?
- Collectible card game?
- -
- Dawn of War with the 7 kinds of Imps being the 7 armies you choose from.
- -
- Now that I think about it.
- Mammon's (Greed), Satan's (Wrath), Asmodeus' (Lust), and Beelzebub's (Gluttony) imps would be something similiar to Tzeentch's, Khorne's, Slaaneshes, and Nurlges armies.
- Abbadon (Sloth) would probably have some abysal void imps.
- Leviathon (Envy) would probably steal shit and repurpose it like the Orks. Maybe a pirate theme.
- Lucifer (Pride) would be the baseline, so probably something similar to the Imperial Guard.
- -
- Where are the Tau guns?!
- -
- They died.
- Because Communism will always fail.
- --------------
- What's the Sloth ring like?
- -
- Lazy boys as far as the eye could see
- -
- And Gluttony would be a fatfg's heaven, wait then it wouldn't make sense to put them there since they'd enjoy it.
- -
- People always get the odd feeling that they're standing on a massive cork.
- Or rather, the biological shield of Creation's largest nuclear reactor.
- It's calm, but it's kind of like that heavy, calm-before-the-storm calm.
- You're both lethargic, and very much on edge.
- Belphegor runs the place (very much into the ground, by the looks of things), but you always somehow tell that it's all a front.
- Most Hellborne feel deeply uncomfortable down there, and ironically grow more restless the longer time they spend down there.
- Few of them understand that they're only a relatively thin crust of Earth away from the Abyss...
- ...And in it, Abaddon.
- -
- A never ending abyss of sadness and despair.
- Like being lost in the woods on a dark winters night.
- -
- Remember, this Gluttony is exclusively for the Hellborne. No sinner punishment going on there.
- Here's my idea:
- >With each Ring being smaller than the one above it, naturally, all of them have one less Circle, too
- >Pride has seven Circles
- >Wrath only has six
- >and Gluttony only has five
- >these five are named after it's five aspects, and each is responsible for different things:
- >Laute - eating food that is too luxurious, exotic, or costly
- >the circle responsible for growing crops and breeding farm animals native (and exclusive) to Gluttony itself
- >the outermost circle, with lots of villages, and unique regional cooking that you can't find anywhere else in Hell - all loaded with grease and oil, of course
- >Studiose - eating food that is excessive in quality (too daintily or elaborately prepared)
- >an intermediate ring, full of fancy restaurants out between the urban centres and the rural countryside, along with the roads, rails and waterways that connect the producers with the processors
- >you'll also find a lot of the service industry here, with food-themed parks and the like
- >Nimis - eating food that is excessive in quantity (too much)
- >the main hub of the food production industry - this is where most of Hell's food is prepared, whether it is going to supermarkets, shops, or other restaurants across the Seven Rings
- >due to the rigorous quality checks, this place usually produces a lot of food waste, but most of it is either given away to the poor (ironically enough - Gluttony has gone a LONG way from it's old, callous, food-hoarding days), or returning them to the farms where they're turned into compost
- >this is the workplace of at least half of Gluttony's permanent population
- >Praepropere - eating hastily (too soon or at an inappropriate time)
- >closest to the central circle, this is where the large factories are switches to smaller manufactures with in-built shops
- >most of Hell's most elite confectionery and snack producers can be found here
- ---
- >anymore requests or do you have a backlog?
- Probably not gonna take anymore until next week, have other work to do.
- I'm personally imagining the gluttony layer like Gourmet Town from Toriko. Restaurants and food stands as far as the eye can see, with everything being themed around food. Famous chefs from history like François Vatel having their own restaurants for which you would need reservations years in advance and the most exclusive one being ran by the prince of gluttony himself.
- ---
- >the place is set up derail the tourists that would rather go through, and visit the fancy restaurants in the Ring's "greenbelt" of sorts
- >it's also the place where most of Hell's alcohol and other bewerages and soft drinks are produced - including Beelzejuice
- >Ardenter - eating greedily (too eagerly)
- >the hub of Gluttony, where all the HQs of Hell's major food corporations are located
- >also a massive tourist trap, filled with a myriad of fast food restaurants, made to look fancier than the ones you'd find in other Rings, so as to entice you to spend more time there
- >just going through from the center to the outer circle and back is said to be guarantee a double bypass operation
- >though, ironically enough, most common gluttony demons are slim, on account of either fast metabolism, physically intensive labor, or health-conscious diets, with only the bosses and the complete wash-ups indulging enough to grow fat
- -
- I don't like that hell has their food supply chain better sorted than we do
- --------
- Are sinners really only on the Pride ring? Because that's gay as fk if that's true.
- >No wrath sinners
- -
- WAR
- -
- It just means that every kind of sinner is shunted into Pride by default.
- That doesn't mean that their sin is explicitly pride.
- -
- Why are they all in Pride anyway?
- -
- Bad world building
