  3. **This is what you need to know:** landowners will have to rebuild their parcels at a new sim, over a roughly 30 day transitional period to keep their parcels. We'll let you know when that period begins and have more information on that later. We understand this is deeply inconvenient to have to uproot and move to a new sim, but please continue reading if you wish to know why the region staff have come to this decision, and specific information for FPI/SP land owners.

  5. First, the bad news. We have been having significant issues with our landlord for the better part of 3 weeks now. They have been giving us the runaround on acquiring our new homestead, are demonstrating poor understanding of how LL region logistics and services work, attempted to overcharge us by about 200%+ to relocate our regions (to the tune of $360 USD), and finally concluded their discussion with us by stating "Now if you really want to avail that rate you can contact Linden Lab directly and rent from them". As a result, **we have made the decision that we will be concluding our rental of land with our present landlord.**

  7. The good news, however, is that we have elected to go into business for ourselves: **We will be acquiring a full region and two homesteads from Linden Labs directly**. This means a few things for you, especially if you own land on either FPI or SP:

  9. - **First,** this means we're going to have to totally rebuild. This was the biggest sticking point for us as we understand it's going to be a huge PITA for most folks, but in our present situation, we cannot grow. It's best to do it now rather than later when things are even more complex. We're going to do our best to ensure everyone that presently has a parcel in Centurion will have one on the new land of same or similar size and Land Impact, **and about a month to complete the move.** We'll do our best to ensure access is simultaneous - meaning you'll be able to jump between Centurion and the new land at the same time during the transition.

  13. - **Second,** we're taking this opportunity to start fresh seriously. FPI grew far more rapidly that we ever expected it would, and as a result we had several issues. The island could not support all of the people that desired free parcels as were in demand (and yes, that free land plan is staying.) As a result, we'll likely be going with a different design for the state, including FPI. We will definitely be keeping the neighborhood feel, however.

  15. - **Third,** SP renters will likewise keep their parcels. Because of the inconvenience, we're offering two choices to make this transition easier and more fair: Either a full refund of April's rent, or a free month of rent on top of your present paid-through period. If you'd like a refund, please contact Sonador and we'll get you set up. If you'd like an additional month of rent credit added to your parcel, you do not need to take action at this time; it'll be done automatically.

  17. **More information will follow.** We have design, planning, and building work to do before we're ready. **If you're planning on not starting fresh from scratch, but will be joining us on the move, now is a good time to begin working on getting everything linked and backed up for the move.** If you're not planning on joining us when we transition, please let Sonador know. We definitely hope you'll stay with us. These are new horizons for all of us, and I hope you're all as excited as I am for what they might bring. None of this would have been possible without you.
