-Growing up Arden was very insecure about herself considering she was the only Korean in the school she attended in Philippines, she always felt a bit different from the rest of the students. On her birthday at the age of 13, she received her first target lesson and her first heartbreak. A boy named Elias rejected her in front of the whole class after she had confessed. She was made fun of and harassed everyday, she lost friends and was forced to keep everything a secret.In music and fighting she found comfort, giving her a way to convey feelings in a much more meaningful way and in her fighting, she was able to release her anger and frustration. Arden was sent to Korea after her parents decided to go stay in the Philippines, without her. She joined SM and met a group of girls which she felt happy and comfortable with and eventually became a happy virus so she could be a person one could lean and depend on when they needed a little sunshine in their life.
